I’ve been staying at the DG now for over 15 years but this was the first time after a 5 year absence. Nothing had changed other than the restaurant had disappeared. Not a problem though as food is abundant within spitting distance. The hotel is a very unassuming property. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles you find in 5 star properties but for what it is, it would be pretty hard to do better. Location is excellent and the rooms are spacious. The pool is a great size. At the risk of being picky the replacement with LEDs has made the rooms a bit too bright and you can’t dim them.

Perfect location for nightlife. Adequate gym and a pool if you need to cool down. Very friendly staff and many good restaurants and bars close by. The 7/11 next door is a plus and there is a larger 7/11 at the end of soi 6 about 100m away.

The property is ageing and its not quite as good value as you will find on soi 6 and soi 4 when there are good deals on offer but its a comfortable location and the staff are generally very understanding.

This hotel is very well located near to Soi 4 and the Nana BTS station, as well as some good restaurants . The rooms are modern, large and clean; the bathroom is well arranged with shower and bath and larger than most hotels'. The best things are (a) the quiet and (b) the extra large pool, ideal for laps and never crowded. It is excellent value for money and `I would stay here on future trips.

The only negative might be the absence of an on site restaurants, but there are plenty of good places within a five-minute walk.

Very close to Nana station and close to good restaurants and to 7-11.

I booked two rooms, they were the same rooms and on the same floor. One was a twin bed and the other was a King bed. I booked through Booking.com but they were different prices, the twin room was almost 25% more expensive - I found that to be odd. Also, there is not food service available at the property, not even breakfast

I love the location in the heart of everything and Nana. The hotel has a comfortable beds, cold AC, nice bathroom and shower. The staff was great and you can’t beat the price for it all.

Loved everything and will always stay here when in Bangkok.

Good location, staff were good

The towelling in bathroom was poor quality. and an upgrade to the television channel options would be better for the timers it rains. The lack of a bar and restaurant is another low. If I came back to Bangkok I would look for a hotel with these facilities

location is superb.. just about 5mins - 10mins walking distance to the BTS (sky train, Nana Station). Room is super spacious and super clean. Basic necessity is available in the room (Flat screen tv with plenty of English channel, coffee making facility, mini fridge). Bathroom is spacious and clean. Housekeeping did a great job making the room every morning. Front desk staff is also very friendly. There is also a free coffee dispenser at the lobby area, which I think a nice touch.

Nothing significant. There is a lot of night clubs/ pub close to the hotel. The road stretch is very busy at night with drunk people, loud music and social escorts by the roadside looking for customer. It can be quite unpleasant to walk there coming back from hotel. But you can also choose to walk in from the other side to avoid this road. Also the noise doesnt reach the hotel, so you can still have a peaceful sleep at night.

Great location, handy to Nana station. Very clean, great bed and a pool. The street is very quiet, but there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. There is a beauty salon next door that also does laundry. The staff were lovely and helpful. Great having a free coffee machine in the foyer. This is a no frills hotel, we found it great value.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The location was perfect, as we wanted to stay in a quiet place but also within walking distance of the busy areas in Sukhumvit. We checked out and went to Samui for 4 days, came back to Bangkok, and checked back in. The hotel was nice enough to store some of our luggage while we were gone.

No laundry service, no room service. The pool closes too early.
