If you are travelling alone or with your partner/ spouse only, then the location and surroundings are fine, as the street is full of bars, pubs, nightclubs, hookers, restaurants, etc. Otherwise, with kids, it is not recommended. The room and common areas were very neat and clean, and the staff was very polite and friendly. The attached bar and restaurant have good Western food options, but most of them are served with pork. If you are okay with pork, then absolutely fine; otherwise, you need to explore outside.

The hotel doesn't provide dental care kits, which is very uncommon in hotels in Bangkok. They don't even have a common iron for the guests to press the clothes in case of emergency. There is no parking area or proper drop-off or pick-up point in front of the hotel.

The Dawin Hotel feels like a little luxury Boutique Hotel which really punches above it's weight. All staff are polite and friendly and even though Soi 4 is known for its noisy party hard vibe(at times) The Dawin is situated a bit further down the Soi enough to be close but further enough away to be quiet when you want to sleep. Sports exhausts on Tuk-Tuk's can be noisy no matter where you stay in BKK. The premises are immaculate and clean and all tiled in the Lobby area. You enter via the cafe/restaurant and staff there will always greet you with a warm Thai welcome and smile. Security is good too with a card accessed door next to the reception. And at check out time of 12noon. I really wanted to stay until 5pm and they allow you to do this. You can pay 200baht per hour and nominate which time you would like to check out as long as it's not past 5pm. If you want to go and explore a little quiet place that costs you zero baht to do and see. As you leave the Hotel. Turn left on Soi 4 and its about a 5 minute walk from the Dawin Hotel. You will enter some gates and find Benjakhitti Park. Go through the gates. Find one of the elevated walkways there and it eventually leads to a nice waterway lake. It's well signed so don't worry about getting lost there. Beautiful Parklands. And there are staff situated throughout the parklands there. My favourite part of this Hotel is the rooftop pool off Level 6. A nice little quiet pool area which deck chairs banana lounges and market umbrellas. The perfect way to cool off from BKK's heat. There are pool towels provided free and if you're feeling peckish. You can use the wall phone there and call to order food that can be brought up to you. The Dawin is a little hidden gem of a hotel. Highly recommend no matter how long your journey or holiday is.

All good. Nothing negative to say about this place. I stayed for a week and loved staying there. And would do so again in the future.

The location was good, the reason we were visiting was I went for medical reasons and we caught a Taxi each morning to the clinic and back over 5 days' the Hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were super friendly. The meals were delicious to the point that every meal we had during our visit was in the Restaurant, once again not only the food was the fantastic but the two supervisors morning and night were very helpful with my medical problem of walking, at times they wood go out of there way to help me get seated, in particular the afternoon supervisor.

Could not fault anything, even enjoyed the views from across the Road, which were entertaining.

The location is amazing, honestly couldn't have been better for me I was able to walk pretty much the whole time there. Having breakfast on their deck early in the morning as the city awoke will be something I will cherish forever. The room, once I got the room I had booked...see below, Was really nice, clean comfy bed, the staff other than the room issue came across really well. Hand on heart when I return to Bangkok I will be staying here without question! This place really is a hidden gem.

It would be quite easy to write a negative review for this hotel, I was originally booked into another room and was placed into a room without the listed hottub and after complaining still had to remain in the unbooked room over night, that left a pretty bad taste, before relocating the following day. However, as you will see from what I liked on balance, it was a really lovely stay.

Hotel itself is excellent, great staff, rooms are cozy, clean and comfortable. Cafe food is pretty decent too and it available for room service.

I unknowingly booked it without knowing it'll be smackdab in the middle of Nana plaza, which is notorious for the lady(men) of the night kinda style bars. The rooms do have decent soundproofing but you'll hear a bit of the music bass. Would not recommend if you are coming in with a partner of family (mine ain't too happy about my hotel choice). There is 2 walking routes to the hotel, one route is through the notorious road where its busy and plenty of ladies that'll approach a man walking by yourself. The other route is much more quieter, right off the Nana BTS stop, take that route if you wish to avoid 90% of the crowd.

Largely a great stay. Lovely room and fantastic location right in the hustle but very quiet.

If you are solo traveller do not book with breakfast included you are actually charged for two people instead buy in person. That said breakfast is average at best but good coffee. I requested a 05:30 wake up call for early flight which I did not receive. I was called at 6:20 instead asking if I booked a taxi. After much hurrying and the taxi driver absolutely gunning it fortunately made it.

The hotel is within walking distance of BTS Nana Station, making transportation very easy. It is located in a quite fancy soi (Street), which is an incredibly lively and entertaining area. With the famous Nana Plaza, numerous bars, and a mix of locals, tourists, ladies, and ladyboys, the street is full of energy. At first, we were a bit hesitant due to the noise and crowd, but every time we walked through, we ended up enjoying it a lot. The hotel also has a pool, though we couldn’t use it due to the high occupancy during our 5-day stay. Additionally, there is a café right below the hotel with a diverse menu, perfect for quick meals or when you don’t want to spend time deciding where to eat.

The rooms felt airless, even when we opened the window it didn’t provide enough ventilation. We had to keep the air conditioning on constantly, but it was quite noisy. Some guests in front-facing rooms complained about the street noise, but since our room faced the side, we didn’t experience much of it. Another issue was the in-room safe—it wasn’t fixed in place. Someone who didn’t know the code could simply take it and walk away, which is a major downside. Also, there were no slippers provided in the room. While this seems to be common in Thailand, it was still something we didn’t like.

Stayed here many times in the past and i always find it a great place to stay. However the reception staff and quite unapproachable which makes me feel uncomfortable. Because of this reason i will not be booking this hotel again.

Reception staff were not friendly and this made me feel uncomfortable. One time i went out to get a drink from 7-11 and when i came back one of the staff said "We sell Coke here you know?" I found that was a comment that i didn't want to hear.
