Location was great, had a lot of options for food close by. Restaurant in the hotel had good food. Staff were very helpful and polite.

They did not have an airport shuttle like stated, but they did have an option to get you a taxi at a good price.

Location is very convenient: 7-11 next door, Big C mini opposite the street, less than 15 minutes walk to pier and BTS station. Washing machine on the fourth floor, two 10 bhat coins per wash, and there is also a dryer (10 bhat coin per 10 minutes), convenient and inexpensive. The elevator is old style (you have to manually slide the inner door), it’s my first time using this kind of elevator, very interesting. I also like the high ceiling of the room. It has different types of the room and I chose the jail cell room where some decoration elements of the room mimic a jail cell. Most staff at reception can speak English fluently.

The reception usually does not have enough coins for exchange for washer and dryer. I need to change coins at 7-eleven instead.

Comfortable bed and nice hot shower! There is a 711 right next door and a supermarket across the street for snacks or anything you need. Not a positive or negative but the hotel has very unique decor… each room is themed which is not very clear when booking on here. I saw people’s comments that the room they got was “like a jail cell” and thought they were referring to it being very sparse/minimal but I want to clarify for people that one of the room themes is in fact decorated to mimic the stale of being in a prison complete with bars over the windows and a bed chained to the wall.

Breakfast well exceeded expectations. Staff were very accomodating. I loved the unique styling; the place was clearly an interior designers’ pet project.

The nice polished concrete floors look great, but also acoustically reflective, such that I had to tell my children to whisper as I could hear them talking in their room from the floor below. It is a minor gripe. Also the seals to the balcony door had huge gaps and you could hear the outdoor aircon units cutting in and out at night. But hey I’d stay here again for sure

I love the unique design, very interesting style. Very kind and attentive staff, easy to find and fairly quiet neighborhood. Very good AC and comfortable bed. I stayed in the “jailhouse” room and the idea is cool but in reality it was a little skeevy. The bars and design were cool but the exposed pipes not so much (see below).

The exposed pipes were actually the drainage lines from other rooms bathrooms and toilets!! I could hear showering and flushing from my upstairs neighbor randomly throughout the night, it was very loud and kind of gross.

This place is amazing! I didn't want to leave, and if it wan't for the fact that I'm on a long stay in Bangkok I would have stayed longer. The hotel is designed by the owner and his taste shows throughout. The lobby area is so different and has a couple of different areas where you may relax, work or perhaps eat - however, the coffee shop area (and the upstairs massage area etc) is temporarily closed. The attention to detail in each room, or at least the two different ones I stayed in is fabulous with a unique and quirky decor. I firstly stayed in the Comfort Double Room and although I really liked its style, it was a bit dark for me and so I later changed to Deluxe Double Room with Balcony which was not only lighter but again so much detail in the room to look at - for example, the stylish 'cracked-floor' look, door panels which make up a wall, the light bulbs hanging from the ceiling and that unique ceiling design too. The wood units really give the room the finishing touches, as well as the pictures on the wall. The owner seems to like cinema and Thai history. I spoke with him before I left. The other staff are all amazing, explaining where the laundry room is, storing my luggage at the start and end of my stay and even running up the road to grab me a taxi when I left. Regarding taxis though, you really don't need one for everyday trips as the hotel is only about a 7 minute walk from Saphan Taksin BTS line, as well as the pier. There is a vegan Thai-Chinese place on the same road which is delicious no matter whether you're a meat eater or not, and loads of restaurants in the area, and of course street food. In fact, right outside the hotel entrance are some street food vendors, and this is where I grabbed my snacks and fruit every morning! Do check out the nearby massage shop and the 5-storey rooftop, restaurant, bar and music venue called Palate - it's amazing on so many 'levels'.

This is my second stay at this hotel. Good location. A few local eateries nearby and two street food stalls at door step. More eateries and street food surrounding Robinson's near Saphan Taksin. Asiatique is just a few bus stops away if one do not wish to take the boat. Comfortable and compact prison cell theme room. Strong AC and good hot shower. Laundry at 20 baht per wash and dryer at 10 baht. TV has mostly local channels.

Wish the TV has access to YouTube or some English news channel.

Good quiet location. About 10 mins walk from Saphan Taksin station. Hostel has a good vibe and the prison theme room is a charm. Compact and comfortable for one person. Open layout room thoughtfully done. Good size shower area with rainbath and a separate toilet area. Staff is friendly and efficient. Mini Mart and 7-11 opposite and adjacent respectively to the hostel. A few local eateries around the hostel and street food at the entrance. Self laundry at only 20 baht per wash and 10 baht for the dryer. Highly recommend this boutique hostel. Would definitely stay again when in Bangkok.

Just the one keycard they gave to us. Whereas neither one of us cant freely access the door without disturbing each other.

Located near the Chao Praya river not far from Robinson department store this hotel has distinctive rooms, all with their own theme. The bed was comfortable, wifi was good. Take the DeLuxe room which is more comfortable and has a balcony with a (modest) view, because the comfort room, although having a balcony, lacks a view and faces a wall.

The bath room showed some mold.
