It was a high quality room with an amazing view. It's close to the Phrom Phong BTS station which is nice for getting around the city. Also easy to use Rail Link from the airport.

Needing to leave a deposit when checking in. I understand why they do it but it's an annoyance to either part with cash or have a hold on your credit card.

Great location, friendly and efficient hotel with comfortable beds and all the amenities required

Only one issue was that they now charge 1000 baht per night ( up front ) as a deposit for the mini bar . As we stayed for 5 nights that’s about £120 taken from our card and it takes 2 to 3 weeks to get this credited back to your account. Last time we stayed it was 1000 baht for the duration of stay which was much more reasonable.

Great location, brand new hotel, clean and comfortable room, great selection of food for breakfast. Will definitely come back.

Staff could have been more helpful

The Location is great, close to the sky train making for an easy passage through instead of walking out side up stairy to get to BTS. Having a small beergarden and 7eleven downstairs is great. Breakfast offers a nice mix of items. An eggstation would be great but it works as it is also.

We got some lipstick stained Towels. And only got seperate smaer handtowel put in our room by the second time cleaning services made up the room. Also we only got one shower cap and the soaps and bodywash that were already in place and nothing else as amenities in our bathroom, we saw the carts outside had more actual items like cotten swaps, tooth brushes and co would have been handy.

The location was great, as were the staff. The rooftop view and pool are also amazing.

Room was clean, staff amazingly nice, the breakfast super complete with a lot of options. It is a modern building, it is located near a major shopping mall if you are into that. The building is very well sound proofed which is necessary as the hotel is located by a principal avenue where traffic jam is happening during all day. You have a lot of taxis and tuk-tuk that can take you to monuments or other modern attractions, you can take in consideration that you are average 8km from everywhere but the traffic jam is a nightmare, so don’t use taxis, they will rip you off, use instead “grab” app for taxis, you can even be transported by moto if you are a solo driver and that will be super fast to make sou arrive everywhere and cost absolutely nothing, just a couple of euros .

I have nothing worth to complain about, only if you want to be picky, you can say that the room didn’t have hair dryer, everything was good, you cannot complain, even the price , 400€ for 5 nights?! Common, this kind of hotel in Europe would be 400€/ night. This hotel is very very good and good value.

The hotel was excellent. Housekeeping was brilliant and the staff were very friendly and professional. Fabulous location, right by shopping mall and train station. We had never been to Bangkok before but staying at the Mercure made it all the more special.

Bangkok traffic was horrendous. Streets were like a car park with nothing moving! Unfortunately whilst we were there Bangkok suffered an earthquake or at least very substantial aftershocks which caused all the trains, restaurants, shops etc to close down. The Mercure shut down the roof top bar and swimming pool for safety reasons but the restaurant on the 8th floor was still operating so we managed to get a very good meal in there.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, close to major malls, plenty of shops, and easy access to the metro, making it perfect for exploring Bangkok. The area is lively yet convenient, with everything you need nearby—including a 7-Eleven right on the ground floor for quick snacks and essentials. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and offer a beautiful view of the city skyline. The staff are extremely friendly and always ready to assist, adding to the warm atmosphere. Breakfast is a highlight, with a large variety of delicious options to start the day. Overall, a great choice for comfort, convenience, and city views!

I actually liked everything about the hotel and if the below 2 points can be improved, I would stay there every single time I go to BKK as the location is perfect - just 5 mins walk to bts, Emquartier mall and the best massage (Asia Herb) with lots of small eateries and coffee places nearby. The bed is comfy too.

2 things that can be better: I can hear when a neighbour (upstairs?) flushes the toilet and the gym is small and basic for strength(has weights from 1 to 25kg dumbbells) but can get by if the price is decent.

The location near the BTS Sky Train Phrom Phong is excellent! The hotel was very clean and modern and the staff were wonderful and friendly. I really liked the rooftop bar and pool! Wow factor! And there's the friendly staff there to serve us! The view from my room was fine and the glass clean. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety.

Nothing, however the price is high for Bangkok - but as they say, you get what you pay for. I could only afford one night. But on my next trip I hope to stay at least 4/6 nights if I can afford it.
