The location was perfect, the owner was really lovely and friendly - we arrived into Bangkok at 5am (obviously too early for check in) and he gave us a room for a few hours which we really appreciated. they provided clean towels and water everyday and it felt overall a very well looked after and sage hostel - will return when we are back in Bangkok !

Good location right by Terminal 21 mall which has very cheap food options + a supermarket and close to two metro stations. Owner was helpful and allowed us to leave our bags until check in as our train arrived in the early morning. He also gave recommendations for things to do/places to eat. Shared bathroom was very clean and always had toilet roll, shower gel, shampoo, etc. Free drinking water and clean towels provided every day.

The hostel was generally quiet but the walls were a little thin so when other guests made noise at night (e.g. coming in late or talking loudly) we could hear it.

I don't know what people are expecting for the price they pay and then giving bad reviews. Sukhumvit is an expensive central area where you can pay this amount only for a hostel and here you are given a separate room with the private shower. Exactly what I needed after a long trip and I was very happy with my stay. The location is superb,lots of places to eat andndrink,a big shopping mall right around the corner, easy to get from the airport, the mrt line. The staff is friendly and hospitable and they speak English and helped me with my luggage. Yes,the room is not renovated and has basic amenities. But the most important is that there's AC. Downstairs they have a nice common area where you can have coffee or tea and sit outside. But it was so hot during my stay in Bangkok so I couldn't use it. I could see how the owners work hard to keep the hostel running and I'm very grateful for my comfortable stay there.

It was a bit noisy my last night from the outside construction at night ,I guess it doesn't happen all the time and I was just unlucky.

- The hostel, like a guesthouse, is perfect for my short stay in Bangkok during Songkran. It is located in a quiet residential laneway and there was no splashing water outside of the hostel. It's 2 mins walk to Asok station & 5 mins to Sukhamvit station. 7-11, bars and restaurants closed by. - The host is very polite and speaks fluent English. I had a very early flight and had to leave at 5am. I was able to get my deposit of keycard back the day before. - My room was on the top level (stairs access). There is shelf, rack, hangers, wall hooks, table and chair. Comfortable mattress and pillows. Working AC and Wifi. Towels and bottled drinking water provided. - Two shared bathrooms between two levels of rooms. I never had to wait long to use the bathroom. - In the common areas, there is microwave, kettle for tea & coffee and fridge. A sink to wash your dishes at the carport.

- Street food vendors are pretty spread out in Sukhumvit. No particular street or areas to have street food. - It could be a bit thorough with cleanliness. There was a few strand of hairs on the dresser when I checked in. They did wipe down the dresser the next day when I was out. (I wasn't aware there is room cleaning service).

Great location very close to skytrain and metro and a mall with lots of places to eat. Super clean. Great value for money. I'd really recommend this place for those on a tight budget.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location, overall better than expected, clean room, shared bathroom not ideal but nothing to complain about really. I had a peaceful and pleasant stay.

Bathroom smelled a little, but it was always clean, and it is shared, so no complaints really.

Pros: - Affordable - Clean room (but very basic amenities) - great location just 2 min from both BTS and MRT stops and the Terminal 21 mall, despite this quiet at night given being in a small side street

Cons: - understaffed (single manager who appears only when you buzz at the front desk) - bare bones amenities That said, if you're looking for just a comfortable clean room to sleep in, this is a great property for a reasonable price.

Good communication about my booking. Good service. Gentle, kind family. Quiet. Simple. Felt safe. Room was very functional, plenty of place to put and hang things.

Bedding didn’t smell fresh, but neither did it smell of too much detergent. Lack of ventilation in the bathroom.

Very friendly and helpful stuff. Hot water, nice small, simply room.
