We chose Yaksa due to the footwalking distance to Phaya Thai Station of the airport train (ARL). Family rooms provide reasonable space and the bathroom amenities are functioning sufficiently well. The quarter of town is lively with 24/7 shops and night market close by.

Bear in mind, that there is no elevator, particularly for the family rooms in the upper floors. Stairs are narrow and steep and the receptionists are not really keen to help dragging suitcases. The place is not easy to find - coming from Phaya Thai station you have to go past the Governmental Building (livestock Department) and into the gated area. The gates this area calm - the downside is that not all taxi app drivers will go to the place. So for taxis just go out of the gated area and hail on the street.

It is located in a quiet part of the street, quite near the BTS and Airport Rail Link stations at Phaya Thai. While reception closes at 9pm, they can provide check in details for after 9pm. Do inform them your arrival timing so that can be arranged. The price is economical for solo travellers, but do not expect a room with a view. Private toilet and shower room (no bathtub). There is a pantry on the ground floor with a microwave, for light meals. Guests will have to cleanup after use.

Nothing in particular, but the rooms are located above ground floor, access by a flight of stairs. Those with heavy luggage will need to carry them up to the room.

1. The hotel is located very near to the Airport Rail Link and BTS Phaya Thai. This gives easy access to other parts of Bangkok. 2. The room is spacious. 3. Good and helpful staff.

1. Even though the hotel is centrally located, it took me some time to find it because there is no clear indication from the main road and also inside the gated area. I had to check each building to find it.

This hostel provides the basics very well. Front desk is manned by helpful and polite staff. The room is spacious as are the lockers (lock provided). The door to the room is totally soft close , i.e. no sound at all from opening/closing of door at night Signages requesting quiet after 10pm. Common areas on the 1st and 4th floors, and an adequate pantry with beverages, microwave etc.

Very good location, many restaurants around., only few minute walking distance from BTS and Airport link. Staffs very friendly. The place super clean, good air flow and natural right in the dorm and common area.

Not every shower room has warm water. Some guest turned on ac very cool and I was not able to adjust the ac remote control, the blanket quite thin. The bed a bit hard. The dorm's door need to be gentle closed for not making noise, some guest didn't careful about closing the door quietly, so it's disturb while sleeping.

Yaksa is amazing!!! they provided american style breakfast every morning from 9 to 11 morning, but you can also find an affordable food resto just across the alley! lovely authentic street eat tucked in a small alley near the hustling street of Phaya Thai street, the nice old ladies there sells sweet pork and egg with rice and also other menus if you're not a fan of pork (the name is "Aunty's Wok Phaya Thai", I love this small resto, it has a special place in my heart), there is also Salang, a korean barbeque restaurant just a minute walk from Yaksa, the place provides affordable buffet. The street food vendors around that neighborhood ranging from 60 to 200 baht depends on what cuisine you ordered. They provided soap and shampoo, showers have hot water, there are kitchen utensils such as bowls, spoon, fork small plates and glasses, a fridge and they provided hair dryer and water bottles every morning. No water dispenser in our family suite and it was located in another building but very close to the main, just next door. No elevator and we stay in 4th floor (but no problem we love stairs, we love walking haha) It's the most strategic place to stay in the middle of the city, only a few minutes walk from pratunam market and the phaya thai BTS station, alot of 7eleven and the street is so safe, it's perfect and budget friendly, love it!

I think our bedroom's AC broke in the second day we stay haha, but we did not complain because we're good, we love the room already, just make sure to tell the facility if you experience the same :D

Loved our short stay. It was close to Phaya Thai and easy to get to the airport. We also walked to Siam from the hotel and I couldn't believe how easy it was. The front desk staff were the friendliest and they provided all the things that we needed for that time. I would definitely keep them on my list to stay again.

I hope they can extend a bit more throw blankets. The blanket was so short and was good for a child, but overall our stay was good.

The Reception/Lobby staff are very friendly and helpful. Easy access to Siam and so on. The location is in between 2 BTS stations either Ratchachewi or Phaya Thai. It's more convenient if you are coming from Suvarnabhumi Airport because you can just take the Airport Railway Train direct to Phaya Thai.

They turned off the AC from 12nn-2pm and there's no fan so it get too hot staying in dorm, so either you go stay during those times at the lobby or go out instead.

Value for money is good, perfect location since near the BTS. Quiet neighborhood with restaurants and 711 nearby.
