Beautiful resort, the villa was in the middle of the resort and surrounded by trees, you can hear the animals and it was so peaceful to come back to the room and resort after a long day. The staff were so lovely. Would recommend. Amazing breakfast!!

Only complaint was that they asked for the sandals back that u have when you are in the room. I thought it was a complimentary thing but it’s not . I asked to the staff and told me that will use for others clients which is definitely not hygienic!

Located in the center of busy Chaweng but still very quiet, as soon as you enter the hotel garden. Hotel rooms/bungalows are in Thai style architecture. Beautiful large tropical garden with covered seating groups to escape from the heat. Open air breakfast room directly by the sea with a huge choice for both Asian and Western customers.

The pool area was not really attended throughout the day. Food and beverage remainings from previous guests were not removed. Glass bottles and beverage glasses are allowed in the pool area. During our stay, guests broke twice glass bottles which can be quite dangerous. Glass should be banned from the pool area.

Jack and Peter at reception were exceptionally patient and responsive to all our inquiries, often going above and beyond. Some great restaurant recommendations from them too. Jeen was amazing at getting us to the airport amidst the Song Kran festivities, even finding us to provide more info as the traffic evolved. I stayed in a spa villa suite which was located right by the swimming pool and restaurant. My room was kept immaculate daily by the excellent housekeeping team. An extra touch of burning citronella oil after cleaning helped manage the mosquitos. The location of the resort is excellent for access to the main road and Chaweng Beach in general. Loads of restaurants and markets within walking distance but the resort provides a calm, quiet and relaxing environment despite the hustle and bustle right on the resorts door step. The staff and locals we encountered in Koh Samui were so friendly and welcoming in general. The local culture is polite and wonderful to experience. The Chomtalay and beach bar staff always welcomed us with a smile and even made some drink adjustments for some of our party’s preferences. I also visited the spa twice and would recommend. It’s wonderfully clean and comfortable. I had a full body massage on the first visit and on the second visit I did a spa package of a scrub, massage and a mini facial. Both pools offer warm water and jacuzzis. The garden pool has a swim up bar where you can order food and drinks. This was my first visit to Thailand and I would absolutely visit again for the white sand beaches, clear water and lovely culture! The Chaweng Regent Beach Resort is an oasis of calm luxury and I would highly recommend a visit.

Paid for 4 superior rooms and it took 3 days for us to get the correct type of room

1.Great location and close to shops. 2. Pool view villa was fantastic. we did not swim in the main pool at all. There was no need. 3. overall the experience was wonderful.

1. The staff are not very professional. I made a booking with booking.com with breakfast included. i paid them over the amount for the room then your web site had including breakfast but it took a 40 min argument to sort it out. The 2 girls i spoke 2 said it was my problem which was very very unprofessional. This upset me and was mot a good start to my holiday!! In the end a manager came out and sorted it. The staff need to realize that the guest is very very important and they need to listen and be more flexible and professional.

Not enough beds in the pool area

In the rooms I think it would be great to have a table and chairs instead of the lounge chair which was a low back one not good support for your neck and head. We went with friends and enjoy playing cards. We did find your conference room which we made use of during the afternoon but after 7.00pm it was closed and the staff wouldn’t let us use it. So having a small table and chairs would help. Also something to hang some clothes on in the bathroom would also help just to hang your bathers and other clothes. That would help a lot.

Beautiful property, surrounded by lush vegetation and koi ponds. Two pools to choose from, including one with a swim up bar. The lunch we had in the hotel restaurant was exceptional. Walking distance to many bars and restaurants in Chaweng.

The hotel is located at the North end of Chaweng beach, which is protected by a breakwater/stone wall which is not as nice as the main beach. You need to walk about 5 minutes south along the beach to go swimming. This is not obvious from the photos.
