The location was great. Walking distance to great food, night markets, and all the temples you would want to see in Chiang Mai, and a short ride on Grab to really great shopping like One Nimman or Maya Mall. I stayed here with my 4-year-old son and aunt as we were on a family trip. The staff let my son feed the Koi fish on the very nice property. It was, without a doubt, one of my favorite places to stay during our Thailand trip. The staff helped us book our tours to visit Chiang Rai and to explore Ithanon National Park + Elephant Sanctuary. They also offer laundry services at reasonable rates. We will definitely come back to stay here on our next trip to Chiang Mai.

I wish there were an elevator or maybe a pool on-site, but I appreciated how the staff helped us carry our heavy luggage to our room. Other than that, it's a great place to stay.

We stayed in a loft room that accommodates three people. The room was located on the third floor, which could be a bit inconvenient for those with lots of luggage, as there’s no elevator. That said, the room itself was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was included and offered a set menu with a few options to choose from. The hotel’s restaurant also had a great variety of other dishes throughout the day, all reasonably priced and tasty.

The bathroom was a bit outdated and had a noticeable sewer smell.

We loved our stay here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help us out whenever we needed. The hotel is in a very quiet and green area, close to many good restaurants, shops and easily accessible by taxi. It's also very close to the airport. They have very cheap e-bikes for rent on location, an amazing restaurant with lovely staff, great food and blazing fast service. You can pay with international cards at no extra cost. They have some small selection of souvenirs for sale, a lovely garden with flowers, a secluded smoking area and a cute pool with fish. Rooms are spacious with great air conditioning, strong wifi, mini fridge, safety deposit box, smart TV with YouTube and Netflix and anything else you might need. In short, our stay at GORD was just perfect. If you're looking for a great holiday in Chiang Mai, don't hesitate to book with GORD.

They have these awesome electric bikes for rent right at the hotel. But the company that owns the bikes didn't mark the hotel correctly as a parking station for the bikes. So if you leave the bike there you get fined by the system. It's not the hotel's fault but it was a bit annoying. The system also doesn't work with foreign cards but the hotel staff were super friendly and helped us pay for the rides through their account.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed in a triple room and there was plenty of space for all 3 of us. Hotel was quiet but still fairly central (about 10 mins in a tuk tuk from the Night Bazaar). Guests received a daily voucher for breakfast and had a choice of one of about 5 set menus - but if you wanted anything else (eg a cappuccino rather than a filter coffee) you had to pay for it. The cafe was also open to the public for breakfast and lunch and seemed to do a good trade. On one day we had trip planned and we weren't sure if we'd have time for breakfast, and were offered a takeaway sandwich option - which was ideal. There was a big fridge in the cafe/common area that had water, beer, soft drinks etc at reasonable prices - you just asked at reception and they'd open it for you.

We found the breakfast filling but if you're used to a buffet breakfast where you can eat as much as you like, you may be disappointed. Shower was very basic and not particularly hot.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, I liked how there was a choice of 7 meals to choose from and was able to get TWO! We had the duplex room, the beds were bigger than me when I lay across it and were very comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. The location is great, close to shops, restaurants, bars and temples. Overall, very good accommodation!

No lift - only an inconvenience because our cases were damaged on the way Only a shower in the downstairs bathroom of the duplex room, would have been good to have one on each floor but we made it work so it’s not a major dislike

Good location in Old Town. Very quiet but within easy walking distance to Reception and restaurant staff very friendly and helpful.

Stairs to room. Would have preferred lower level room as mobility is not good. No hot water in bathroom vanity bowl.

I Love this hotel. This was my third stay here. I've stayed about a month each time. I love the location, it's a close distance to both Saturday and Sunday walking streets. As well as the nightly street food at Chiang Mai gate. Wat Pan Whaen is just south of the hotel with one property in between great place for Thai massage treatments. The breakfast is convenient and good, so no need to wake up and go in search of food. The property is also a mini garden with 3 koi fish pools. The Kitchen has a full restaurant as well open till 4pm. They also can set up tours for you as well. When it's time to leave they can order up a taxi to take you where ever you may be going. Always a pleasure to stay here.

Location is good. There are 7-11 and supermarket nearby

There is not really nice hot shower with their small electric boiler in the bathroom. Really cold when we showered. The staff told us to open the water tab handler small but still the water was not too warm. It was a bit warm for 2 seconds and cold for 1 second. Also my room was on the top floor and there are a lot of pigeons walking around the house roof top all night.

Our stay at Gord was perfect. We can warmly recommemd this place. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are very comfortable and stylish. The location is great, you can walk everywhere. We would definitely come back for our next visit.

Breakfast is good, however not too many options are available. The drinks included are rather simple. But that was no problem as there are heaps of options available for breakfast in the area.

The staff, Yo Yo and Fame and all, were so kind friendly and helpful. When they saw I had an injured ankle the thoughtfully moved us to a ground floor unit. They always helped us find our way around too. The breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable and shower had good pressure and hot water. Absolutely perfect location! Walked to Saturday night market, Sunday Walking Street Market, Three kings, and Silver Temple. Lovely quiet safe location. Laundry Lady is only a 2 minute walk. Highly Recommend
