It's the best hotel we've stayed in the whole trip! All the staffs were so friendly and most of them speaks English fluently. They always give us good suggestions and help us wherever we needed. Welcome drink and snack was touching after a tied trip. The room was nice and beds are comfy. The breakfast is the star! They even have packed breaky when we need to be take on an early trip. I also enjoyed a late breakfast before departing to the airport near lunch time. The location in the old town, make everything in walking distance.

I think no lift is only down point. But the staffs always helped me with luggage, so no problem at all.

This was the best stay in Thailand! I’m not kidding! We were greeted warmly, given a map and marked beautiful sights in Chiang Mai. All excursions can be purchased in the lobby, that is what we did. Breakfasts need to be ordered in advance, in the morning they are served at the time you said. It’s very convenient, especially if you leave on an early trip. Everything is very tasty! The rooms are clean, they clean them every day. Everything is nice and works well. We were lucky, we booked a small standard room, but we were given a larger room with a bathroom! It was a very pleasant surprise :) Thank you for your hospitality and a good stay! A huge thank you to the hotel staff, you are very caring and responsive! ❤️

We love the design of their breakfast, with various options of Western and Thai styled food and beverages. We stayed for 4 nights, and chose different food/drinks every morning. It could also be tailored very much to our preferences(choice of milk, level of sweetness, etc), which was another plus. However, what stood out the most was the staff who were not only informative but who were just so sweet. This was what made the stay exceptional and memorable. Despite that the facilities may not be the newest, it was generally clean and comfortable. I personally would return again if I get the chance to visit Chingmai once more.

Elliebum is a wonderful hotel. The staff is always there to be helpful and will go above and beyond any request to make their guest happy. We loved the location and were able to walk to all the sights. All the staff is knowledgeable of the area and give excellent daily recommendations for your day. The breakfast menu they offered was varied and delicious. We tried something different almost every day and loved them all. We also ate many of our dinners there and we were never disappointed. My favorite, the fermented tea leaf salad! I recommend taking the time to meet the owner. She is as genuine as they get.

The staff was super amazing and nice. They helped us book our excursions and they were very accommodating to all our requests. The food was great - very nice included meal system - you pick your free meal per person the day before for the time you want it so it could be in the afternoon like 5PM or as early as 5AM. It included whatever juices and shakes we wanted and the food menu included both regular breakfast options plus traditional thai dishes! So 1 day after an all day excursion we had our dinner ready for when we came back and the morning of our flight - they prepared us a to go breakfast and drinks!!! This is a super super perk for any hotel I have ever been to. The rooms were clean and nice with good AC. I highly recommend this hotel and obviously location is great too.

The location was amazing, but the owner and staff who actually made this experience beyond exceptional. Attention to details was of utmost importance to everyone at the Boutique Hotel. We originally booked for four days at this location but extended our stay by another four days due the excellent staff and fantastic meals. Everything is personalized at this property, including the meals, the coffee you order and the amazing drinks that are prepared with love. My wife and I strongly recommend this location if Old Chiang Mai is desired. Thank you again Gabe, and all your fabulous team, we already missed everyone’s contagious smiles and we look forward to returning to Chiang Mai to seeing you again.

Nothing to mention and lack of elevator as mentioned by other reviews was not an issue for us, as we like higher floors and using stairs.

Wonderful boutique hotel in the old quarter close to many beautiful and historic wats. Comfortable, quiet, and clean room with effective air conditioning. Delicious varied breakfast choices as well as great options for lunch, dinner, and happy hour! Kind and helpful staff who go out of their way to answer questions and fulfill any requests. Hotel staff arranged a car for us for an out of town day trip and provided advice for our questions about Chiang Mai. Apart from the astoundingly beautiful wats, interesting Chiang Mai activities included hiking in Doi Inthanon, a great evening cooking class, yoga at a local studio nearby, and strolling the old quarter.

Elliebum Boutique Hotel was phenomenal and I had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their hospitality truly made me feel so relaxed. One of the highlights of our stay was the a la carte breakfast. We ordered it the night before and set an approximate time when we would have it the next morning. The variety of options available and the quality of the food surpassed my expectations. If they didn't have an ingredient to make the meal we requested (as all the ingredients are freshly bought from the market that day) they would offer us a suitable alternative. Every dish was delicious and meticulously prepared, providing a perfect start to our day. At the start and end of our say they also offered us a snack and refreshment that really made a huge difference and showed off the local cuisine to us. I highly recommend the hotel for anyone visiting Chaing Mai.

Nothing really was bad or bothersome. I would only mention to other guests that the bathrooms are small and the air conditioning in the room is facing the bed.

Elliebum was the best out of 7 hotels we have been during our trip in Thailand. The design is simple and elegant, the food both very affordable and delicious, the location perfect. But what made our stay special was the absolutely outstanding service of every single employee, which made us feel at home. Gade (the owner) was a delight, we had long chats and she shared many local tipps and insights.

The only minus point is the absence of a pool, but one can easily grab a drink at one of the many nearby hotels with pool and chill if needed.

The hotel had no elevator and no swimming pool. However, I made a reservation out of curiosity because of the many good reviews. I stayed for 3 nights and forgot the two shortcomings above. The staff were kind, polite, and helpful at all times. When we couldn't eat breakfast on time, they packed our takeout at the time we wanted. When the taxi to the airport arrived, they helped us with our luggage and greeted us politely. Advice for Koreans who will stay in the future: Breakfast is optional and most Koreans like it. Coffee is very tasty, both hot and iced. It tastes the same as the coffee I used to drink in Korea. There is no deposit. The bed was clean and comfortable. Shower filters are a must for hotels in Old Town. Bring plenty and change them once every 1-2 days. Overall, we stayed at 5 hotels in Chiang Mai and this was the most comfortable and impressive hotel.
