This is a beautiful hotel set in the middle of Chiang Mai old town and within easy walking distance of all old town sights. It is an oasis of calm, with stunning decor and beautiful furnishings. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a good size balcony. Breakfast was high quality and the staff were helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Didn’t like having to pre-order breakfast and set our time for eating the night before. Everything else was perfect though.

The most elegant, comfortable, and traveler friendly hotel we have visited in Chiang Mai. After spending the night in a boutique hotel along the old city gates and moat, we were road weary and tired of the road noise. All of the amenities you'd like (as long as you don't expect a bar...there's none, and that was fine with us), including a pool, formal library, exercise room, collectors art, trinkets for sale, sitting areas galore, fountains, and super quiet grounds, all within steps of the old city moat. The staff is highly professional and fun. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The rooms are clean and large with great balconies, and the breakfasts are superb. Stay here if you have the chance.

Great location in the old town, great breakfast each day, room was big, clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful and prepped breakfast for us ahead of our day trip which left at 7. Overall very happy.

Nothing really everything we well

Fantastic mix of traditional Thai and modern touches throughout the property. Beautiful open courtyard and feel to the middle of property. Very large room with a balcony. Inside the room were traditional Thai wood floors with nice throw rugs and wood finishes on French doors and cabinets. The location to me was great in the old city, just down away from the busier main outside roads. If you’re active and like to walk like me you can get everywhere easily anyway. The pool area is nice with a large deck outside of the small gym area with yoga mats worked well. Extremely friendly staff, I wouldn’t hesitate staying here next time I visit Chiang Mai

Old fashioned style. The atmosphere of colonial house from old Hollywood movies. I love antique furniture and textile details. A lot of lushy green plants - so fresh and secret garden vibe.

No possibility order even drinks. :( and no snacks. But you have a kitchen, why don’t you use it? I can not spend the whole day on the villa’s pool, as there are no food and drinks at all. Why?

The property was beautiful, the room quiet and comfortable, swimming pool was fantastic, the staff friendly, and breakfast was delicious.

We were traveling with a five year old, not used to the heat. It was just a tad bit far for her to walk to the main streets, without complaint, for activities. If it were just my partner and I, it would’ve been no problem at all. However, there were several transportation options available to us. Would still highly recommend.

The hotel and its rooms are beautifully decorated, also the restaurant (breakfast room). The hotel also has a large library room and a well maintained swimming pool. The location is close to the city center, yet rather calm. The breakfast offers a choice between various western and Thai meals. The choice has to be made the evening before; this has the benefit to reduce food waste - we liked this idea a lot.

The hotel personnel could improve the service for their customers by offering some cocktails in the evening (to be paid for)

Hoel location was fantastic, only a few minutes' walk to Chiang Mai Gate Market where excellent food is available. The building and garden itself is quite beautiful and superbly decorated with a particular colonial charm. The pool and surround is lovely too. Our room was superb - clean, comfortable, well decorated, great amenities and excellent air conditioning. The bathroom and shower were equally good. Breakfast is included and it is seriously like going to a fancy restaurant, and of great quality. You chose what you want the night before from a varied set menu and they bring it out to your table. Overall, an excellent hotel.

Nothing, except I'm a fan of carpet in hotel rooms, not hard floors.

One of the most beautifully designed and unique hotels we stayed in during our trip. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and you feel like you are in the Old City but with modern amenities. The room was large are had a nice balcony. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the location is perfect for visiting temples and touring Chiang Mai.

This was a beautiful property in the heart of Chang Mai. It had a guard so it felt very safe. The breakfast that was included was delicious. I couldn’t get over how gorgeous the rooms, breakfast room, and entire property were. The staff was incredible. So sweet and helpful. They had umbrellas for the rain which cam in handy. We paid to send our laundry out for next day service which was really helpful. I HIGHLY recommend.
