The charming hotels are decorated with Northern Thailand style, the hotel itself is old but well maintained, the room with the view of the mountain is impressive

A bit far from main Street,it used to be easy to catch the taxi but since the shopping mall in front of the hotel is closed it seems like staying in this hotel is out of reach. But you can use Grab to call a taxi to pick you up or rent a motorbike also an idea

The room was huge which was lovely! The main lobby was very pretty and the pool was huge and a lovely addition. The bathroom had a shower and a bath in it, as well as having a big fridge in the room. The view of Doi Suthep from our window was spectacular. The beds and pillows were both comfy. They also provided clean towels and water everyday.

Location wise it is a bit further out to get to the centre but there are tuk-tuks waiting in the carpark to take people anywhere. The hotel was a little hard to find as it resembled an office block from the outside but the inside does make up for this. The bathroom had seen better days with black marks on the ceiling of the shower, but overall was clean with very strong water pressure.

This hotel is a cross between the British Film 'Best Marigold Hotel' and the inside of the Titanic. It is slightly 'faded glamour' but that makes it must stay especially at the price of 660B we paid in late 2022. We chose the hotel for its huge pool and huge gym - but the rest of it was a pleasant surprise too.

The breakfast could be a little less 'plain' but then again you dont have to buy it. Now the adjacent shopping centre has closed, the hotel is slightly isolated at night so a solo female traveller might choose to take grab

Large room with separate couch and small dining table. Excellent swimming pool and fitness centre available. Many restaurants and roadside vendors within easy walking distance from the hotel. Excellent five level shopping centre with SFX cinema 1km from the hotel.

Only drawback for me was the bed and pillows were extremely hard and I had difficulty sleeping, but that’s only my preference. Restaurant only appeared to be open for breakfast with a limited menu for room service which was closed before 11pm on a Saturday night I was there again not a real problem as I usually eat out anyway.

Staff was very nice. Location of hotel is good. It was a good value for money.

Photos looks better than hotel is in real life (especially swimming pool). However I would stay in this hotel again.

Room & bathroom were big & breakfast was adequate as it was included with the room. Our expectation was low as it was the weekend of the Lantern Festival so lots of accommodation was already sold out & prices were obviously inflated for that weekend. Hotel had a huge pool which we didn't use as it was a bit murky with basic concrete around the edge & plastic garden chairs as pool loungers. The reception staff were very nice & approachable. Location is good for walking around the old town & a quick tuk tuk ride to the river.

It's obviously a very old hotel & would have been amazing in its hey day. Now very tired & dated with lots of big cavernous empty spaces. Probably one of the busiest weekends of the year for them with the Lantern Festival but 1 of the lifts didn't work so there were long waits to get up & down. It's obviously a hotel used by tour groups due to its size. Breakfast was adequate. Reception staff were lovely but there seemed to be a lack of staff in other areas - our room didn't ever get made while we were there. Outside of peak times the price would probably be better aligned to the condition of the hotel. Would stay again if we were there for a short period but overall it's adequate as opposed to great - nothing major to complain about.

This place is just lovely, the setting (right on coconut beach) is breathtaking. Koah Lak doesn’t have much going on, so having such a lovely hotel was definitely a plus. This well deserves its 4 star rating, it’s big but not too big it looses the personal touch. Staff were amazing, polite, willing to help. ALWAYS with a smile . Breakfast was really good too. Could not fault our stay at all and would 💯 stay here again. Absolute bargain at £62 for two night!

In it's day this hotel was most certainly 4*, however that was many years ago. It is still a fantastic hotel, large and impressive with spacious bedrooms and the most comfortable furnishings you could ask for. The staff are ultra helpful and you could spend an hour wandering around the lobby and pool area. The rooms are clean and tidy. It's only a 7 minute walk to the corner of the old city. The price range it has placed itself in makes it excellent value for money and I will certainly stay here again for my next trip

It's starting to feel its age, not shabby, just old. Wi-fi is 10mbs at best. The lobby, lounges are pretty but understaffed and devoid of any atmosphere. A few symbolic toiletries in the room and no coffee or tea with the tea making appliances. All that being said, I would pay more and be happy to stay here.

This was a great location for a hotel. Lots of cute restaurants, cafes and great local supermarkets. The rooms were very spacious with a very comfortable beds. The pool was perfect size for a nice dip during the warmer weathered days. The breakfast had great selections of breakfast items. I really like the onsite parking available for those tourists who had rented cars. The staff were very nice and friendly.
