We got a free upgrade, which was a wonderful surprise! We enjoyed the Pool Villa with the balcony. The bathroom is beautifully tiled and the details in the room were nice. Exceptionally clean and fresh water bottles every day. Also the laundry service was very pleasant and good value. Thank you for our stay in this unique hotel!

The entrance is at a busy road, takes extra time to walk to places. The airco stream kind of hit the sleeping area, slightly uncomfortable when sleeping with it on.

The location was great as it was right in old town and even the ancient wall wall was outside. Staff were lovely and friendly. Really cool decor with large room and bathroom.

The cafe / bar was not open all day and hours were sporadic. But had lovely drinks when it was. Breakfast not included in price. Although the bathroom was lovely the shower was opposite the toilet with only a shower curtain so the shower sprayed onto the toilet and floor. Shower door would make it perfect. Also dead bugs were squashed/splattered on the walls !

We travelled throughout SE Asia for three weeks staying in a lot of different hotels, and this was our favourite accommodation of our trip. The staff were wonderful, fluent English. We stayed twice as we were riding the Mae Hong Son loop. They offered to look after our bags while we weren’t there. The staff were amazing, the rooms were great! Big beds. The hotel was absolutely stunning, and the pool great! We even got treated to a cake as a welcome back. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I travelled back to Chiang Mai. This Hotel was the best!

It is well located to easily reach the many wonderful temples, and night and weekend markets within walking distance or a short ride. The interior of the hotel was a bit a mix of everything, but in a good way. Our room was really spacious and clean, the bathroom was equipped with everything a traveller needs (including fresh water bottels in the fridge every day!), and our bed was huge and comfortable. As we arrived outside reception hours, the staff found a solution to this situation and, in addition, a welcome cake was waiting for us in the fridge. We spent a lovely week here.

Lovely hotel with really ornate decoration due to its history as a house. Rooms were spacious and clean. Comfortable bed and good AC. Staff very attentive and keen to help.

Close to the main road so noisy if the patio doors are open or sitting on the balcony. No issue with noise if patio doors shut. The quieter area of Chiang Mai with small streets, quirky shops, cafes etc is the North East quarter within the walls. This is about a 20min walk from the hotel. However, there are plenty of bars and cafes that are closer just the roads/area is busier

Honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean and comfortable. If you're checking in after 7 pm let the staff know. The reception is closed but they'll make sure someone meets you at the entrance and hands you your key card.

The hotel was beautiful the decor was very rococo, exquisite. The room was very specious and comfy comfy. The area around the pool was lovely and the towels for pool were a plus. Had a decent laundry service which we desperately needed. The staff was very helpful.

The coffee shop or therefor lack of, left much to be desired. Open for few hours and all cocktails featured vodka including the Mojito!!. Espresso was spot on, I salute the barista.

The hotel has a very cool character, outside and in my room (the one on the ground floor with the pool access) which is more traditional thai with cool thai artwork and wooden floor. The bath, shower, toilet are wicked nice. It's a very clean hotel, staff always friendly and welcoming.

I feel that a hotel of this quality should have better coffee-in-room facilities. Sachets of Nescafé and powdered creamer don’t really cut it! the bathroom was always beset with flies. Breakfast choices were ‘full English’ - nothing else Breakfast was supposed to start at 8am but inevitably wasn’t available till 8:15 or even later - which was too late if one is undertaking organized tours….which tend to commence pretty early! The pillows were curiously rock hard
