V strategic location. Good breakfast and cosy environment.

Would have to say the bed was a bit soft for my taste, but maybe the Westerners like it.

The staff was very kind and helpful. We got all sorts of accessories to make the stay comfortable (ear cotton, tooth brush, sleepers, robes, daily, etc). They also agreed to keep our big laugage when we went on few days trip after checkout, which is beyond!

Water in the shower drains slow, breakfast is diverse but not super delicious.

The staff were extremely friendly and help full. The location was fantastic, just 2 minute walk to great cafes (the Fern Cafe was fantastic), massage locations (Calm massage), and a Japanese restaurant (Matsu Japanese). Even though it was very central, it was somewhat calm (see following note) and easy to walk.

The fact that they had an "open sky" bar at the front with music all day. My room was near the reception, where the music could be heard somewhat loud, and make taking a nap impossible.

Supernice. We got a great room on the 4th floor. Bed and linnen were supersoft and comfortable. A bit funny layout of the room with the bed on the floor (think Japanese style). To get in to the bathroom, you had to take a step over the corner of the bed. :-) Many windows with almost no obstructed view if the mountain and part of the old town. (our room facing south/west). Great quite AC. Good pressure and warm water in the shower (though they seemed to turn it off to a minimum during late hours/night). A nice pool (did not try it though) A small gym, which I would barely call a gym, but, there is one nonetheless. Massage on site (did not try) Friendly staff always smiling and greeting you upon arrival. Clean rooms and other areas Amazing and fresh breakfast with a wide range of goodies. Location great within the old town walls (looks like a square on a map, and hotel located north west corner). Within this square it feels a bit calmer and relaxing compared to outside the walls. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, temples and attractions and not least to a 7-Eleven (which is key to survival in Thailand).

Nothing to complain about We saw a gecko lizard in the room the first night, which freaked us out a bit. But we never saw it again.

Pros: Excellent Location: Just a 20-minute leisurely walk to the old town square, with several temples nearby. Beautiful Room: As depicted in the photos, the room was stunning and the bed was comfortable, though slightly low to the ground. Guests with knee or back issues should check the bed style in advance. Delicious Breakfast Buffet: A wide selection available from 7 AM to 10 AM. If you're starting your day early, the staff will provide a takeaway breakfast box. Helpful Staff: The hotel and the nearby café offered great local recommendations and were very accommodating. Great Room Facilities: Included a kettle, TV, room service, fridge, and minibar for added convenience. Pool Perks: Enjoy a complimentary drink by the pool upon arrival. Recommended Activities: Zabb-E-Lee's cooking class (pick-up provided) and Chai Lai Orchid for ethical elephant experiences and bamboo rafting! Night Market: Vibrant weekend markets with affordable prices in Old Town square, especially compared to the southern regions. To Eat: Try Coconut Shell and Kat's Kitchen for cheap and delicious meals. Overall, this hotel provides an excellent experience with minimal drawbacks. Highly recommended!

Cons: Minor Design Flaw: The layout of the low floor and bathroom area can be hazardous due to slippery floors, steps, and small corners, so caution is advised.

We stayed at the superior double room, room 1403 if I’m not wrong, the bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. It had a nice sunny balcony & the room had a good size. The pool staff was great & very attentive.

Pool was very cold and the seats around it make it hard for people to walk around as there’s not much space in the area. There was a bit of dust over the bathroom mirror that could be cleaned & also the room ceiling had some mould/dampness. It is not near Tha Phae Gate, about 25min walk.

The staff and owner were lovely. They set out activities for folks to do related to the lantern festival and were very welcoming. Wonderful location, I could easily walk all over old town and only a 20 minute walk to the mall area. Several Wonderful places to eat or grab a treat with a 5-10 minute walk.

While I understand the reasoning, I am not a fan of the system where the electricity is off when you leave the room. It woukd at least be nice to have a minimum temperature available to leave your room at, so you don't have to sweat for 40-60 minutes before the room cools down, or to be able to leave your device to charge while you go out to the store.

it was a good - lots of solid options. Nothing too fancy - for example no omletet made too order, the thai food was options very limited, limited fruit, you have to pay extra to get a cafe latte as the coffee was so so. The staff were great.

The room was nice with a very nice bed and linen, the TV was Smart. Privacy was very limited as our room was along a walking path for other guests.. I am not sure why they did not guide the other guests to walk through the hotel's internal corridors instead. Also, I asked the front desk for a second key card several but never got it. Also, they gave us one 3/4 full toilet roll while my son and his wife who stayed in a different room got a 1/4 rool of toilet paper.

The staff especially B were amazing!

The breakfast was very basic and to be honest really poor . I had coffee once and skipped the other days.

As the location is on the most busy street of Chiang Mai, you do not notice this at all inside the hotel (in room, and other area's). That was not expected so a big plus. Good facilities (although basic breakfast- cereal, fruit, packs of yoghurt). Gym is basic but the material is OK. Pool is great although some green residue (cleaning?) in the pool; algae? Beds were so big I haven't seen my partner during the night. Very comfortable.

Basic breakfast - that works with vouchers (a paper 'cheque' to be given to employee in the restaurant) Check in not a minute before check in time... We were there at 13.45 and check in was 14.00 so no... Very strange but this was throughout TH. No cosy bar but the bar was open so we bought a bottle and set on our balcony.
