Very good location within old town. We enjoyed the many restaurants nearby especially the vegetarian restaurant about a 10 min walk away called Reform Cafe. The room was comfortable and very clean. Easy walking distance to everything we wanted. Large shower and a soaker tub was a nice feature.

We didn't really like having our room on the ground floor. The windows faced the parking lot and people walked by the windows and staff watered plants directly in front of them which left us with limited privacy if we wanted to have daylight in our room. Also, we prefer to have one large bed instead of having 2 pushed together. Not sure if other rooms have 1 bed, or if they are all this way, but since each bed was not large enough for 2 people they push two beds together but they make them up separately so you are actually sleeping in separate beds. Not a big issue, but could be important for some.

I can't recommend Rich Garden House enough! The location is walking distance from 7-11, restaurants, spas, ATMs - and right next to beautiful temples (plural). The grounds are stunning and peaceful, and the hotel decor is in a beautiful Lanna style. It smells wonderful. The hosts are warm, gracious and attentive. The room was very attractive, large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The windows overlooking the garden let in tons of natural light. And, the value was outrageously good. I highly recommend getting a room with one of their huge, comfortable bathtubs - !

Rich Garden House is a hidden gem in Chiang Mai's old town. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay, and the tranquil atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. While they don't offer breakfast, there are tons of amazing cafes and restaurants within a short walk, so you'll never go hungry. I especially loved being able to walk around barefoot in the clean rooms, and the bright, well-lit spaces made me feel right at home. If you're looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Chiang Mai, I highly recommend it!

The only thing I would change is the lack of breakfast options. While there are plenty of great places to eat nearby, it would have been nice to have the option of a quick coffee and croissant on the terrace in the morning.

Location was great. A short distance from the main streets. Lovely quiet area with a great sushi restaurant next door. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was large and spotless. Very efficient laundry service.

This is room only as no breakfast available. We were initially concerned but once we were there is was not a problem as there are so many places to eat in Chiang Mai within walking distance.

Was nice most of the amenities are included. Staff was helpful and cooperative. Location was also great. The decorations of the room is beautiful. Very simple and classic.

It was nice overall. Except for the room we stayed in, the aircon is directly in front of the bed. Not good for our health when the aircon air is directly to our faces. The room could use proper housekeeping maybe also deep cleaning in some areas. The room shoes were provided but they are already too old to wear and are starting to drag our feet. Check for pests before letting the guest in. Dead pests were lying around which led to a little bit of a negative impression. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

We loved our stay at Rich Garden Hotel. The room was so clean, the staff was amazing, and the location was perfect. It is very close to everything, and it’s not on the main road so it’s not loud. We loved the mornings, the birds chirping. Even though it is in the city, it felt like it was in the mountains, peaceful and cozy! Such an amazing experience and atmosphere! We would love to come back one day!

The room was spacious, well decorated and clean with large windows letting in lots of natural light. Although in the Old City, it was so peaceful and didn't hear any of the traffic. They are also very generous with drinking water, with 4 free small bottles a day. With only 7 rooms, the hotel itself is very quiet as well.

Very well located for the old city. Excellent sized bedroom that was decorated with gorgeous furniture. Comfortable bed and lovely big bathroom. Very helpful receptionist who gave us good advice on what to do in the area. This hotel is excellent for a 3 star. If it had an onsite restaurant I am sure it would be 4 star at least.

There is no onsite restaurant. There is a Japanese restaurant immediately next door.

Unbelievable beautiful rooms with lots of wooden furniture. It is close to main roads but still secluded in a backstreet to have a quiet ambiente. Most stuff is walkable. Perfect to explore the city by foot. A night market is close by for good street food. Hotel right next to beautiful temples.

Breakfast would have been nice but isn't offered by default.

The hotel is located in a quiet little side street away from the big ring road around Chiang Mai. We enjoyed our stay very much. Rooms were cleaned every day, you enter the hotel barefoot which we really liked. The wooden floor is a dream. You can open the windows, air conditioning is also great, there is no breakfast service but you can make yourself a tea/coffee in your room. The staff is also really friendly and welcoming.
