I slept very well here in a private room on the 3rd floor with shared bath for 400B. The room and bed were huge (5m x 4m, king bed). The mattress is on the floor but it's about 40cm tall and very comfortable - I loved the smell of the clean sheets as well as the thick firm pillows. I opened the window instead of AC and had no issues with noise (using earplugs). The bath has plenty of space and an electric water heater, so unlimited hot water. It's not new and it's not luxury, but it is very good value for money.

the staff was very friendly and helpful the room, bathroom and toilets were clean I saw in the reviews that some other people complained about cleanliness but I found it very clean. I think it depends on who are staying at the time you stay there. If other people don’t use shared areas in a clean way, they can’t do much about it

Planned to stay only one night but stayed for a week because of the atmosphere. The owners Shirt and his wife are really super nice and the food here is amazing. Located just next to old town, so perfect location. Also cosy to have a cold beer in front of the hostel at night. The beds are the same as every other hostel but the curtains ensure good privacy. Clean hot shower. Not too much noise. I stayed at 4 different hostels in Chiang Mai but this one was my favourite.

My stay was quite comfortable and the owner is nice gentleman. I stayed in may hostels but this among the other hostels would I feel staff was very helpful and cooperative. Nice and clean hostel with a good Thai restaurant run by amazing family. Food was too good. Thank you for making my stay so memorable. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for hostel to stay in Chiang Mai should opt for this hostel as a first option among others.

great location in walking distance of the old town and very close to one night market. rooftop was an unexpected pleasant surprise. Tank to fill up your water bottle.

Very basic equipment in room, bathroom and on rooftop - definitely no luxury. Not much interaction with staff or other guests.

Room and bathroom clean, toilet paper, shower gel, and towel provided. Free coffee, tea, water refill. They let us leave the backpacks after check out. Good location. Comfortable bed.

A bit warm in the room, but you know what you are getting with only a fan room. Downstairs area could be cleaner.

The location is excellent. You are maybe a 15 minute walk to the best temple in town called Wat Chedi Luang. And near this temple you can find Indian, Thai, Western restaurants. The night bazaar is maybe 30 minute walk. There's lots of bike rental places close by to rent a bike to go to Doi Suthep etc. The owners are super friendly and helpful.

The double mattress was slightly hard, but it was fine and our room felt cosy.

Amazing staff, comfy bed. Super quiet room. AC wasn't freezing 👍 Good location, just next to the north gate. It has a restaurant in it so you can eat cheap. They only have small lockers, just for the value things. No shoes inside.

There is nothing I can think about. Just that happened 2 times that I heard some strange noises inside the walls in the restaurant area. (It seemed rats. But not certain about it).
