The property is located at the top of the old town which is great. Lots of great local Thai food and café's around, also the 7/11 is within a 4 minutes by walk, right across the street. In the nearest 7/11 area is a morning farmer local market with fruits, vegetables etc.. and evening/night street food market. Room has table with chair in it for working and little fridge. TV was there also but without the hdmi cable option, so only some local channels available if you lucky, I didn't use it. Although the hotel is in the center, the area there was pretty quiet. I didn't hear a traffic noise almost at all. I stayed for a month and I would do it again! :) The staff were so friendly and helpful. The host gave me some helpful information about the visa extention which I found calming and valuable at that time. Right in front of the hotel is one of the Buddhist temple, so If you book a room with balcony you gonna have a view on the lovely old roofs, also as the mountains. One (let's say) less pleasant thing I would point out is the Wi-Fi which isn't as fast and stable as it could be. So having some mobile data would be helpful for switching time to time. So in conclusion, if you want to be close to the old city center plus stay in the quiet area and you are ok with 2-star hotel, Mali's room is your way to go! :)

Nice and cozy room. The location was very good. I was very comfortable staying there. Restaurants cafes bars 711 pretty much everything within walking distance. It was a very peaceful place. I booked for one week and extended my stay for one more. Would highly recommend.

Very small issue, it was a little bit tricky to turn the shower off but most likely they will have fixed that by now.

Location is accessible to many amenities within the Old Town. The staff has limited English, but they are friendly and helpful, just communicate slowly and nicely to them. There is water dispenser save plastic bottles. Internet is not stable in corner rooms, but it is very fast in lobby.

The bathroom needs to be renovated a bit. There is a mold smell from the pipe for a while.

It was quiet and had everything i needed. .I did bring my own small electric kettle .It is within walking distance of most places of interest in the old town.

The first room had just one small window but i upgraded to a room with balcony which was much better.It was worth paying the little extra.

The bed, despite being a very stiff spring mattress was very comfortable. The location was amazing Security Cameras

The room doors could have better locks and be sturdier, the only real security is the cameras and staff, to be fair there are deadbolts on the inside though. Cleanliness was OK, but could have been better, there were dead flies in the lights, and some surfaces could have used more thorough cleaning.

We thought this property was great, okay it wasn't the most luxurious establishment but for a few days in Chiang Mai, it was perfect, the location was great we could just walk everywhere, the manager was super helpful, we were setting off on the loop.. he let us leave our big backpacks there saving us luggin them about. Even booked again on the return trip.

Few parts of the property were dated, the bathroom and things were a bit rough round the edges but other than that it was great 👍

The room was very clean and good equipped, the personal was very nice and friendly. They offer a big lobby where you can realax or wait if you are to eary for the check in - they let us check in 1 hour before. Also they offer little snacks and water.

The wifi in the rooms is not the best but in the lobby it works really good.

Great price, the room was comfortable, good balcony. The best thing was the bed was comfortable and it had proper white sheets.

The internet was terrible. Every 15 minutes the internet would turn off for a few minutes before reconnecting. Ok if you're just checking up on your social media but frustrating if you're trying to work. If the internet was reliable, I would have given this room a 10 for the price.

We ended up staying two weeks here, the location is amazing, the room was spacious and so was the bathroom, staff were amazing and the owner is so kind and accommodating, there's free water, coffee and snacks and they clean the room on request for you so can be every day if you like

Not much to say other than A few stains on the sheets but the owner was just so kind to us it outshined this.

Very good price for 2 star. The surrounding is very beautiful and very quiet to relax. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is very quiet with no traffic. The rooms are next to the beautiful Temple which is a great spot to tell taxi drivers where to go. This is very helpful. The hotel is located in the city center from where you can get everywhere easily and pick up a taxi or Tuk-Tuk. In the night there is a nightmarket, 7/11 and pub on the other side of the river. Good WiFi and TV l
