Excellent location near the old town. Right around the corner from a night market running every evening. Just across the bridge from a popular jazz bar. Rooms are basic. Reasonably comfy beds for the money you're paying. Two fans in our dorm. Your sleep temperature really depends on what position you are in the dorm. Overall, fairly easy to fall asleep. Bathrooms are clean. Warm shower. Staff were helpful when around.

Front desk isn't always attended, so check-in can be frustrating depending on when you arrive.

Not my first time here, used to book beds in both 4 and 8 bed dorms (4 my favorite, but 8 also pretty good). Bed was very comfy (pillow and matrass), all beds with light, sockets and curtains; AC and fans, water and coffee on reception, clean and quiet. There is no kitchen, but there is fridge and plates and cutlery, and nice morning market just next door, so you are safe )) And amazing staff. And everything I wanted to visit - in walking distance.

They turn off AC during the day but it is in description and for the price you can’t expect more

i actually stayed for 6 nights here at doze hostel! i like the location and its not too far from other places i wanna go. i liked that the wifi is fast since i was working remotely. the staff were also amazing and friendly! i would definitely stay here again when i come back to chiangmai.

The hostel was in a super handy location, out of the hustle and bustle of the city centre but close enough to everything. The morning and night markets right outside the front door were incredible. The cleanliness and overall friendliness of the staff at the hostel were also awesome!

Amazing value for money and lovely staff. Decent location, inner city just a 5 minute walk away, 7/11 nearby. Also recommend going to the Jazz bar which is just a 10 min walk away, ask reception about its location! Washing also available here

Not a huge amount of social space, felt a bit unclean but tbh I didn’t really care because of the amazing price! Also the pillows were not a slay

I was only here for 1 night as a stopover, the location is very good just on the edge of the old town only a few minutes walk in. Staff were super friendly, it had an area to dry laundry, had lockers that came with your own key and you could padlock them too if you have one (not very large lockers however). The aircon is turned off for long duration of the day as you can see from the pics beforehand, i thought this might be a problem as it was just a stopover for me and I would spend time in the day in my room doing travel logistics however they have lots of fans on in the room so it really isn’t an issue. It also seemed quite social too which is a bonus.

It’s stripped back and basic but that’s fine it’s very cheap and great for the price

We stayed in the private double room and it was soooo comfy and clean. Staff were very lovely, friendly and helpful. Location was great. Loved it!!

I like that the staff were friendly, they are able to communicate well in English. The hostel is clean and accessible to places. The hostel especially the dorm rooms are quiet so you can definitely have a restful sleep even in the middle of the day. I would definitely come back to Doze Hostel whenever I am in Chiang Mai. Some might get a little sad because all bathrooms are for sharing but believe me when I say that itll be last of your concern. There’s kitchen for everyone to use with microwave and refrigerator. And there’s also laundry where you can wash your own clothes in the AWM or you can have laundry services availed. One suggestion, though. They can have a bulletin board where guests can write where they want to go and if other guests might want to go with each other. They (guests) can arrange it themselves to share costs. I think that will be awesome
