Perfect location (North Gate) for a solo traveller; safe and very close to sightseeing attractions. Very enjoyable in that sense. Air conditioner worked very well. Bathroom and toilets were clean. Housekeeping was good. The staff was all very friendly, kind and keen to help. They provided me technical support with a rather personal request and solved my problem very quickly. The taxi service to the airport for my return flight was excellent with an English speaking and proactive driver, who understood the customer's expectations (Thank you Mr.Nong).

The hotel has 4 floors and no lift. With a heavy luggage it wasn't comfortable to climb up and down the stairs. The Tv didn't work (though it did not bother me). To communicate with the staff I had to use translation sevices on the internet. That's why I did not want to waste asking for help for the TV. I am sure they would have sorted that out, too. They were all very kind. The cafe/bar which used to be active (probably) in the lobby was closed. There was no facility in the building where you could find any hot/cold beverages or food. But restaurants/bars, cafes and 7/11 were nearby, very close. It did not cause a problem. Still an in-house facility would also be appreciated.

The staff can't speak English They try to help, but it's very annoying once u ask about anything they start taking to the translation app, which doesn't help u at all There is no lift Central ac of the hotel is always off The restaurant is always closed In the lobby that has brouchche for tour but no one to guide rent a car option no one to guide All their services are handled by the same lady who keeps on talking to the translation app quite place, but an English speaking staff and lift could help better. Overall, I would like to say the hotel has a potention a good management and would bring this place to a higher level rating

Rooms were large , AC and wifi were very good. Location was ok. Minimal areas to get a drink or to get food that were close by. 7- 11 is close by. Have phone interpreter app to have a conversation with the staff. They were great but they spoke very little English. Oh , there is no lift . The 4th floor , top floor was difficult in the beginning.

Location, as they say, is everything and this is a brilliant location if you want to visit the centre of Chaing Mai. Restaurants, bars, markets, parks, temples, museums, boxing rings all easily within walking distance. Nice, comfortable break out areas allow guests to relax, read a book or newspaper if they wish.

The furnishings etc could do with a bit of TLC. Could do with updating and a bit of investment.

the receptionists didn’t speak any english to the point they didn’t even know what “check in” was. it was okay but when we needed to ask them stuff they couldn’t help us :/ no elevator but not the end of the world. room could do with a bit of tlc- rips/holes in bedding, dressing gown etc. the downstairs looked a bit abandoned. but overall wouldn’t complain for the price and we enjoyed our stay here despite these things

Excellent stay the accommodation was great really clean.

It was a lovely comfy clean hotel, filled with lots of charm & old-worldly character, nestled just on the edge of the canal in the old city area. Excellent location to pretty much everywhere you want to walk to and if walking is a little too far then the excellent Grab taxi online app can take you most places for less than 100baht. Only 20 mins walk to the modernised Nimman area which has the excellent Maya Shopping Mall & many trendy coffee shops.

the location, the price and the staff it was so good, despite they don't speak english or spanish, they were using a translator to help every guest, I use also my translator, as a foreigner we should put more effort to learn some Thai words to be more involved in the community and show respect to them. many thanks to Thai people to be so nice. I love Thailand

Very clean and tidy. Staff were helpful and let us check in early. Room was exactly as described and the location was great. Would happily stay there again.

Nothing really bad to say apart from slightly noisy air con and some random noises at night but that's nothing to put you off from staying there

Good location and the room was of a good size and comfortable. Had a fridge, big TV and good air-conditioning. There were plenty of power sockets and a couple of USB outlets as well. The bathroom was quite spacious.The staff were helpful and friendly.

I found the bed to be rather hard in the Thai style and the wifi was a bit irratic. There was quite a step to get into and out of the bath/shower. And the room didn't have any tea or coffee making facilities.
