I liked how nice the manager was towards me. I believe her name is Mon. I had complained a bit about a light fixture on the ceiling directly outside my door, and she had the maintenance team actually replace the light fixture with a whole different one with much dimmer lighting. The previous one was shining too much light into my room at night, through the surrounding door jam, I thought it was very accommodating of the staff to do this for me. Actually, any request I had to make my stay more comfortable was granted in a very pleasant way.

I stayed here 8 years ago and wanted to return on my next trip to Chiang Mai. Unfortunately, the restaurant , “Rose” , had since closed right after the pandemic of 2020, and they haven’t been able to open another dining facility, not even for breakfast. There aren’t many amenities left here, but the rooms are very clean and spacious.

Located at the north gate, it's convenient to get taxis and access the main roads by car. There's a little street food market nearby. The laundry service is cheap, the room spacious, good value for money. There's also free parking and a very basic gym.

The walls are very thin so you're gonna hear the phone calls of your neighbors, the cleaning ladies leave behind more hair than what they clean, the wifi was down twice in a week, which for someone like me doing remote work is a big deal. The ceiling of my bathroom was falling apart.

Staff were unfriendly, the only one that smiled was the lady, none of the men made you feel welcome, when asking for anything it seemed like a bother

Good value for money. Excellent locations, spacious rooms and very clean.

Need to continuously log in into the WiFi as its automatically logs out every now and then.

Some of the things in the room were a little bit old. In the bathroom there is a net window in which there were some small twigs from a birds nest I assume and some of them fell off when I moved the net by accident.

Room was exactly what i requested. Nice bathroom and balcony with a view. Bed was comfortable but a bit small for two people. Daily cleaning service if required.

Not much to complain about really but apparently the hotel restaurant has been closed for a few years but a few small restaurants are close by.

The staff were helpful, the location was great. It was also great that the reception desk was open 24/7. You can slo bring down laundry for them to do.

The lights were super dim and doesn't light up the entire room, there was a balcony but you couldn't go on it (no door, only window), the bathroom door handle was wobbly and the screws needed to be fixed, one of the lamps didn't work so the room stayed dark, the bathroom door shuts on it's own so it was really inconvent because it kept slamming shut or I had to prop it open to get ventilation into the bathroom.

The location was relatively good, within a 500m walk is a number of decent places to eat including Japanese and a fantastic Khao Soi place. If you're game to cross one of the busiest roads in Chiang Mai, there is also a place that makes ice cream rolls. The room itself and the bathroom is large and there is a desk to allow for a work space

Probably my own fault but I waited for a balcony room. The hotel is divided into the front section and the back section, the front having a balcony. The price of this balcony is that you are on the main road I referenced earlier and the noise from the traffic just does not stop. If I had my time again I would give the balcony (which I used once) a miss and pick a room at the back for the sake of my sleep.

A very nice modern hotel, the location is inside the old town near the noth gate. Large rooms, LCD tv of moderate size with only 2 english channels, one of which is a soccer channel. Good wifi, though one has to log on a few times a day.

Nothing really to dislike. Some things like glass partitions in the bathroom could be cleaned a bit more thorough, but it was overall clean enough.

Softest beds and pillows in all of Thailand! Huge room, plenty of space to spread out, clean rooms, clean facilities, lovely staff, conveniently located right on the moat in the center of old city, the famous North-Gate Jazz club just steps away , 7-11 is a 3 minute walk, plenty of restaurants in walking distance, and the price per night is outstanding for comfort and convenience you get.
