Perfectly located - quiet and off the main streets. Next door to a beautiful Temple (oldest in Chiang Mai) lovely to have a swim in the pool. The owner/staff member Linh was incredibly helpful and kind !! We extended our trip a lot and came back to stay here because Linh made our stay so great. we booked a couple of things through the hotel also.

The location is great, directly behind Wat Chiang Man. It makes getting back to the hotel from around town easy to accomplish even with language barriers. The pool is nice on a hot day. The sun deck has a great view, although it is a bit too warm for most people during the peak of the daylight hours. The breakfast was nice, with the French Toast being our favorite. The owner and staff will help you arrange any activities that you want to do while in town. There are numerous eating establishments within a few minutes walk.

Some guests take the privilege of the smoking areas a bit too far. Some taxi drivers have trouble finding the hotel based on the address alone.

Nice Lobby area, very authentic. Swimming pool 23c still in January so still usable. the restaurant here do good food for very good prices. the staff were very helpful. my son had an existing bad foot injury from Vietnam incident and they gave him a spare crutch to use and managed to change our top floor room to the 1st floor so we didn't have to carry him up 4 flights. My phone fell out my pocket in a tuktuk after last hospital visit and the front desk guy lent me his scooter to go and find the tuktuk driver and amazingly I found him and my phone. The really went out of their way to help and went looking for a local taxi to bus station when grab app was busy.. Happy new year SK House 2

not much really to note just . the matress was a bit hard for my back, by thai standards not the hardest I slept on but I carry a sleeping pad mattress so used that on the bed. The corridors echo any noise and the European visitors in our adjacent rooms would be very loud at 11pm or later when coming in and wake us up but that's to the detriment if the French people.

We always come here and the staff are really lovely. It's great location and the pool is a huge bonus.

Bathrooms are a lottery. we've stayed in many of the rooms, and you never know what you'll get. Smelly, blocked drains, toilet seats wobbly or broken, mouldy etc. None of this really bothers us as the price reflects it, and the location is great, but we do feel we have to forewarn people we bring, as I know it really bothers some. The staff, although super friendly when we talk to them, seem bored though - often smoking or scrolling on their phones. That seems to be the case in most places we went this time in Thailand though, and again, not something that would stop us returning.

We stayed here 14 years ago as young backpackers returned with family for 1 night stop over. I love the traditional Thai vibe, relaxing surroundings, communal areas, manager always on hand to answer questions and help. Also book tours. gorgeous coffee plenty of choice for kids breakfast close to temple with stunning views for some rooms Cost 😁🌟🌟

Need to bring own padlock 🔐 for safety lockers we just left our stuff in the room and it was fine. Pillows not the best but still managed a fine nights sleep.

Relaxed atmosphere and plenty of places to chill out in reception and upstairs. Staff were helpful and kind, thank you Mr Lin. The swimming pool was cold. Desk in the room to do some laptop work. Good price although this will depend upon availability of course.

Wifi was s l o w and unreliable, so I had to tether my laptop to my phone. Only 2 power sockets in my room, fortunately next to the desk. Noisy cleaners will wake you at 12pm shouting down the corridor to each other.

Location within the old town was ideal for the Sunday walking market and the accommodation surprised us with how nice it was. The pool and rooftop terrace were great to have access to, and the staff were very very helpful in arranging trips (Mr June) and also sorting laundry. The included breakfast was limited but perfectly fine.

Our fan only room was on the top floor which we felt made it much warmer than it might have been if lower down. If we were to stay again we would spend more for the AC rooms as it was very warm.

Good location with a nice swimming pool, small but enough as it is a quiet hotel. Reasonable price for what you get.

The day staff were great however we felt the night staff were not as friendly and avoidant of helping. Room was reasonable for the price, however the bed does not have a headboard which made it quite uncomfortable. Hard to eat here as a lot of things they had on the menu they didn’t have in stock.

The staff were really helpful and hept us to change the room to one with AC. The guesthouse is well located as well near many temples and tourists spots.

Due to guest do not respect no smoking areas, our room smelled weed and cigarette the whole time.

Spacious room with comfy bed. The courtyard is beautiful. It's very central, but quiet.

The fan was too noisy so I couldn't sleep. The room was so dark I couldn't read. The pool has no sitting/lounging area so is rather useless. The eco unfriendly fridge took 1/2 day to get cold.
