I stayed 3 nights, I enjoyed pretty much every aspect of my stay with exception of bits mentioned below. I stayed on my own in the separate en suite room downstairs which would be a good size even for two+ people. Very comfortable room, bed, good bathroom facilities, kitchen area (with a fridge) just outside. Opportunities to talk to other residents from all over the World. Very kind and helpful staff. It is a place you want to go back to. Location in the Chiang Mai old city area is a blessing if you stay inside 'the square' but can become a curse for those who plan to venture outside the 'moat' on their foot as crossing the street can be challenging. ;-)

A minor annoyance, the 'thin walls', so prone to noise if clumsy residents decide to return late at night. Not great orange juice, sorry. :-)

Very clean hostel with friendly staff. I booked here because they could offer a female dorm room and I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. The hostel was really clean the whole time and always smelt fresh and clean! You have to take your shoes off as you enter the hostel and leave them in a cupboard outside which helped keep the place feel clean. There was a drinking water machine in the shared kitchen for free and you could use the microwave and fridge which was nice. Great location too in the old city.

No locker to put your valuables but each room as a key for the door so no one outside of your dorm should be able to enter as long as people in your dorm keep the door locked. The only shared areas are the kitchen which is a bit dark and not comfy to hang out and the outdoor seating which is nice though.

Their hospitality is what impressed me most, always wearing smile even with my late check-in and showing me around the property facilities. I can tell how considerate and sweet they are from how they make my beds. As the only one staying in a 4 bunk beds room, they still make 2 bottom beds with linen for me to choose from. Very quiet in this neighborhood where you get to get some good rest. They keep the room and communal area clean too. I am a total neat freak but here I can definitely go barefoot without any dirt on it. Thank you for your service and made me feel like home. It is a place worth re-revisiting.

If I have to be picky, I would say it would be lovely to have some hooks at the back of the bathroom door where we can easily hang the bag of cloths and toiletries.

Super happy with this hostel! Easy to find, great location (close to main street but quiet), easy check in, very clean. Even our beds were made every day. Free water, fridge, microwave, boiler and enough dishes. The host is very very nice and helped with every question or need we had. She even oragnised someone to craft krathongs for the loy krathongs festival for the whole hostel and made some for us because we couldn't participate because of a tour we had booked. Would definitely stay here again!

There’s also a must-visit jazz club nearby.

Fun hostel that's quite social depending on who you're bunking with. Definitely not a party hostel though. The location was good, the road wasn't too busy and noisy, and easy walking to a night market for food, and to temples in the old city. Each room has a balcony that you can use to hang things out. Everything was very clean.

No private locker, no curtains around the bunks. You can leave your luggage down by the front desk, but that's not staffed 24/7, so security is a little lacking. Very trust-based.

A very intimate place with only 4 rooms. Clean, comfortable, very homey. Quiet area. Place looks new, so all facilities are in up-to-date and in good shape. Great location. Very nice and tasty breakfast and coffee (at cost). Eya the manager is a lovely lady, very friendly and helpful. Other guests were very friendly as well.

Improvement suggestion: I think 1-2 hooks inside the showers would help (beyond the towel rack)

Very clean hostel, comfortable mattrasses, many showers and drinking water dispenser. There is a fridge, boiler, toaster and microwave if you easy food to prepare. Otherwise you can have breakfast or drinks at the hoatel as well (not included, you need to pay extra). The host was really nice. We stayed over Long Krathong and they hosted a free workshop to handcraft a Krathong. Can recommend, we ended up extending.

Clean, comfortable in any way! Beds are comfortable, even tho I stayed in a shared room because the way the rooms are designed you still have your own privacy. Perfect furniture to leave your stuff well allocated.(is kinda new) Many toilets and showers to use in the common areas(so not just the typical one and does it) super clean everywhere!!! They have a kitchen downstairs with coffe and water, and outside a little cafe area that belongs to the place where you can have a nice breakfast. The owner is very nice and have a good English which is a bonus. Good location next to the North Gate jazz bar if you are planning to have a drink in the evening, close to night markets and located in a peaceful and clean road. The best hostel I stayed in in Thailand!

Everything was great
