Clean hotel with comfortable bedding, hot showers, daily housekeeping, and delicious breakfast. Love this hotel!

It had clearly been originally designed with a lot of care and attention, the bed was very comfy. The location was nice in a quiet corner of the old town. The pre-ordered breakfasts were generally nice and you could order coffee from the staff - the Korean breakfast was probably the best but the eggs were also nice. There’s a nice little upstairs balcony (not well signposted so took us a couple days to find it). The laundry service is cheap and quick. The free tea and snacks were thoughtful.

The room had a very small corner window - it seems like the rooms with the baths have the little windows, the nice view and the big windows are at the front of the hotel. The room needed some tlc - there was a bit of a damp problem on the back wall, some of the towels needed replacing and our sheets had a hole in. There was also just chips in the furniture and the grouting/sealant in the bathroom could do with a proper clean. Some more choice at breakfast would have been nice (or some extra bits on the side like yogurts, choice of fruit, pastries or toast).

We LOVED our two week stay at Rimwiang! The hotel is located in the "Old City" tucked into a small side street in a neighborhood, but a short walk to everything in the Old City. Our room was large, clean, and quiet. Breakfast is included which you select the day before from a menu of various offerings. Each morning we would come down to the main lobby (which is also where breakfast is served). Within minutes, our delicious breakfast was served! The hotel staff will assist with any tours you wish to take. I have saved the best for last: the hotel staff. The staff was so gracious, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. After two weeks we felt like the staff was our family. In fact, when we checked out, my wife was very sad as she felt we were saying goodbye to family. I would like to give a special mention to Dao, James, and Frame who worked at the front desk. Top-notch professionals who are very kind and nice people. And the two ladies who serviced our room were very sweet and did a fantastic job! We also appreciated the hotel manager and his wife who were ever-present making sure things were running smoothly. We can't wait to return to the Rimwiang in the future and spend time with our "Thai Family"!

The bathroom was spacious, and the rooms were very clean. Our sheets were changed regularly, and the bed was always made. We even had a small garden outside our room, which was a nice touch, even though we didn’t use it. The garden in front of the hotel was beautiful. The breakfast options were enjoyable, the bed was very large and comfortable, and the wardrobes were spacious and sufficient. Overall, we had a great experience.

The staff was so friendly that even if there was something we didn’t like, we didn’t get the chance to think about it! :) thanks for everything

Very cosy hotel in Chiang Mai old city, very clean and well maintained. Just a short stroll to the restaurants and places to visit in town, in a quiet location, with a nice view over the mountains and the city itself (don't miss the patio on the 4th floor). Big, comfortable room with all the amenities you may need. Various options for breakfast, which you can order the day before, very nice and kind staff.

A continental/sweet breakfast would be a great addition. The staff is really polite and helpful but could be more proactive with information about the city and things to do and see.

The room service and cleaning were great there, located in old town but really quiet, the breakfast was delicious. The most important thing is the shower and bath were incredible spacious and comfortable in old town ChiangMai.

I loved the leafy little lane Rimwiang was on, with a small temple around the corner, it felt like a little bit of countryside in the city. Once you step through the doors you feel tranquility and coolness descend. It’s perfectly located for exploring the old town and very easy to walk around or call a taxi. Our room and the whole hotel was beautifully designed and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and needs to be ordered the night before. The Korean breakfast varied each time but always included kimchi and a soup. Also, I must give a shout out to the welcoming staff, and in particular, Dao!

This hotel is stunningly beautiful -- the room isn't huge but it's full of high-end finishes like crown moulding, marble counters, beautiful hardware in the bathroom, etc. The lobby and halls are beautiful too. And except for the thin walls, it's sooo comfortable and well thought out -- soft lights over the beds with switches in easy reach while you're in bed, lots of hooks and towel bars in the bathroom, etc. The shower is just the best -- you can use either a rain showerhead or a handheld showerhead with adjustable height, and the water heater is perfect: strong, predictable, and consistent. The lovely floral scent of the shower gel and shampoo/conditioner is exquisite. Everything was perfectly clean. The elevator looks new and works well. The free snacks in the lobby are a plus. The location is handy and the neighborhood is quiet. The staff were mostly very nice. If it were reliably quiet, this would be the perfect hotel!

The only issue I had was with noise inside the hotel. The walls are quite thin, so when my neighbors were talking or coughing I felt like they were almost in my room. Then, I was surprised when the hotel did loud renovation work with very loud power tools and fumes in the room across the hall from me one day when I was staying there. (Seems like that would be something to either close the hotel for or at least warn guests of before they booked.) Some of the fumes got in the room. Then the cleaning began around 8 or 9 the next morning. I was on the second floor and could hear and feel footsteps from the lobby starting around 7 some mornings.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a quiet area of the old town. Small street with a temple in the corner and green vegetation. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. You have to order breakfast the night before but works perfectly and there is always water, coffee and tea for free for guests. Staff is very nice and welcoming. I felt really relaxed and very happy to have chosen this quaint but modern small hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay and I was sad they had not availability since I decided to stay another couple of days in Chiang Mail. If I had to say something probably that the towels were a bit worn out.

The staff were lovely and helpful. The lobby is a lovely area to sit and enjoy some free snacks and beverages and visit. We loved the breakfasts! They were hearty and custom prepared fresh for us based on our preferences. The beds are very comfortable and the decor is lovely. There’s a beautiful temple just around the corner.

The hot water in my room didn’t work well the first night - I thought it was because other patrons were all bathing or showing at the same time, but it turns out each room had its own hot water source! They resolved the issue quickly once I let them know there was a problem. I wish I’d known that the first night so I could have a had a hot bath right away. The way the staff handled the situation really impressed me. It’s about a 30 minute walk to the main night market or a 20 min walk to the Sunday night market. We sometimes opted for tuk tuks or grabs
