The staff are amazing! Very welcoming, kind and accommodating. They helped me make a phone call. They offered a pool toy to my friends son. They provided forks when our food delivery came without utensils. They let me use their scale for my luggage. The pool was a nice touch. The location was in walking distance of town, restaurants/breakfast, 7-11 and all the necessities. The room with a balcony was exactly what we were looking for.

my friends got the room with the balcony, bathroom, and large space. As a solo traveler, I got the small room. It did not have a balcony. I made do. it was a short walk to the outdoor seating area at the front of the hotel. just something to keep in mind. you may want to book the larger room if a balcony is important to you.

I love Mandala House! This stay is a sweet gem located conveniently to several attractions. Near by temples to visit variety of resturants offering Thai cuisine, Indian, French, food trucks, Japanese ramen, burgers and fries and more!...easy walking through narrow side streets meeting busy main streets in different directions!. Walking distance to night bizarre and Sunday market, 7-eleven, pharmacy, and shopping. My daughter and I stayed in a twin economy room, which was perfect for us. The room had a refrigerator, tea kettle and glasses, bottled water, closet, bathroom with warm shower,TV, strong cool AC. Linens were changed upon request, and any needs were promptly cared for. Our room was clean and neat. Two good-sized, comfortable twin beds. It was a nice sized room, perhaps smaller than other rooms available? hence, good economy. For our stay, it was perfect as we spent our time outside exploring sites and adventure, swimming in the pool, or at the seating area in the front of the hotel. And, our goal was comfort for our budget, which is our experience, and plus, for our stay.There is a nice menu offered through the day until 4 p.m. (?) and coffee available as well for a reasonable price. Cozy small indoor/outdoor seating for meals or socializing. A very nice pool is secluded across the street( just a hop, skip away) from the front of the hotel. Many other stays are located in and around the meandering side streets. This was a perfect location. The staff are exceptional. Very happy, kind, very helpful with information on attractions, food market, taxi...sweet people who you can count on to meet you with a smile! Very personable. I felt very comfortable staying here. I can't say enough about the extremely pleasant staff! I plan to rebook with Mandala House my next visit to Chiang Mai. We stayed 6 nights and had a time of our lives...

I enjoy the wonderful staff. they provide great service and very accommodating. This place is clean!! It is in the middle of so many attractions, near river , near multiple night markets, a Muy Thai stadium with plenty of bars close by...I walked in so many different directions to discover so much beauty and kind people. Room was large with fridge and kettle. I felt safe and they were available at front desk 24 hours with security cameras. We enjoyed it and will be back again! thank you!

Suggestion is that hopefully in the future, they could add safes in rooms and provide an additional set of room keys. FYI, They only provide one set of keys. Keep in mind that the same key is an insert that is needed to run power/ac. Luckily, it was not too hot this week when we left the room with no running ac We made it work even though my roomate and I roam at different times. ! l It would be a treat if coffee was provided in their lounge area for us to enjoy early morning, but again, we have our own kettle to make it.

The room was very spacious, clean and had nice light in the afternoon. I enjoyed the little balcony. The location was great too, very quiet but still close to the night market, and everything I needed within walking distance. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This wasn’t major but there was a buzzing noise outside my room every night, might have been a generator or something. I’m particularly sensitive to these sounds so it might not bother someone else. Otherwise a great stay, thank you!

Location was spot on. The bedroom was large with a good enough desk for working. The room was fairly clean, nothing luxurious (as expected) and functional. WiFi was good, at least in room 204.

Poor soundproofing, you can hear people in the corridor and sometimes those walking on the above floor. The bed was a little too hard for me, but it seemed common in Thailand to have firm mattresses.

Great friendly staff, always cheerful. Willing 2 assist in any request if required. Perfect location very clean. Shops, 7 eleven within walking distance & night markets. Within walking distance 2 old town. Staff arranged driver & vehicle 4 a day tour. 2 Doi Inthanon & other areas. Had a great day!! Highly recommend this establishment

The room we had looks like it was in the newish block. We had no problems with the room against what we paid for. The room was very spacious, and the cleaning women were brilliant. I would come back there again if I was on a budget like I am currently! At the end of the day it's a place to put your head down, get cleaned up. It's not a resort hotel. Different hoildays Different expectations.

The walk-in shower had a few loose tiles, and the door had a bit of a gap at the top between the door and door frame so we would get a few mosquitos in the room.

Nice room with kettle and fridge, clean and comfortable. Good location, very close to old town and Sunday night Market. Nice pool and friendly reception staff.

Staff were very friendly, polite & always smiling. Always willing 2 assist in whatever questions were put 2 them. Location perfect with 7 11 plus other shops around the corner, small home restaurant literally next door open 7am - 6pm 7days/wk (the owner does the cooking, lovely lady), easy walk 2 Thapae Gate.. Recommend Mandala House, great place, location & reasonably priced.

Great location, exelent and friendly staf. Always there to help you. Hotel has few different parts,different prices for the rooms. I loved mine. Facing nort.No morning sun,no need for air conditioning. Again i want to mention how helpful the staf was. I needed to copy some things as well as to print some stuff. One of the main workers there let me use his email ,printed me a brunch of copies without once asking for the money and when i offered he politely refused. His English was very good,so it made my stay easier. Thanks once more, I'll be definitely back.

For me ,everything was great.
