Breakfast was quite adequate. Deluxe room was large and had excellent lighting.Bathroom was renovated to a good standard and water pressure was strong. Bed was very comfortable and bed linen and towels were new and clean. Staff are lovely and keen to help but English is limited. Hotel has a lift so it’s suitable for older guests. Location is the big selling point for this hotel. It’s close to various markets and you can walk to most places of interest. Price is reasonable and free airport pick up and drop off are a bonus.

At this price point it met every expectation. If you want 5*, go elsewhere and pay more. If you want a clean, homey hotel then Raming is a suitable choice. We’ll be back soon.

We liked the location. Sits between Old Town and the Night markets. Our strip had lots of restaurants and bars. One of our favorite places was Welcome - good food and great staff. Hotel breakfast was excellent. Found an excellent restaurant called Lemongrass!!

Not so much the property- loved Chiang Mai but so many massages parlours, bars filled with young Thai girls looking for dates. We just did our own thing but tough to watch old white men around these girls.

It was very nice that we could choose to have breakfast on the patio or in the very comfortable restaurant. Breakfast consisted of a bit of Thai food and some Western dishes.. essentially, ham, bacon, wieners, pancakes or French toast, eggs done one of four different ways, toast, salad, fruits.. and some pad thai, fried rice, some Thai style vegetables. The rooms themselves were big and the bathrooms were pretty stylish. Overall, the staff was outstanding too and very accommodating. The oil isn't connected to the hotel, but it's just across the street, and it's nice....I wish people wore hair nets/caps, so we weren't pulling hairs out of our fingers constantly, but otherwise, very nice It's also a great location, even though it's located around a lot of sort of seedy looking massage places

I wasn't a huge fan of it being so close to many massage places.. but if I wasn't on the family trip, maybe I would love that aspect. 😂

Excellent customer service from airport pick up to airport drop off. Lovely ambience of a small Thai hotel. Great super clean pool. Perfect breakfast, not too much but good western options plus daily Thai options, fruit, salad, juice, cereal ... late check out was super cheap at 100Thb per hour. We'll located, only a short walk to the night bazaar and Sunday night markets and the old city with plenty of tuk tuks and taxis around.

The building is a bit tired but at least it survived Covid! It is super clean and well maintained. The mattress is a bit harder than Westerners like but we got used to it and wouldn't say it was uncomfortable.

Excellent location between the night market and the old town. Perfect for people who walk everywhere. Nice cafe serving excellent coffee and croissants at the front of the hotel.

The attitude of one particular woman at the desk was worse than Basil Faulty. I can’t comment on why this person was so unpleasant and unhelpful. Who can know what is going on in someone else’s mind. But we were a group and she managed to offend quite a few people. It’s a shame because otherwise the stay was very nice.

The rooms were large with good air conditioning. Breakfast was included and although the coffee wasn’t great the stir fry options were good.

Wifi was a bit clumsy with different logins and passwords and connection was a bit slow.

Hotel was good apart from mosquitos all over reception at check in. Got bitten multiple times. I had to wait 45mins at the airport for the taxi transfer. Transfer times back to the airport are limited. I had to have a room with two single beds which wasn’t ideal. Shower had issues that needed a technician to come out and then the issue was only half fixed. Location is great for one of the main strips of CM - restaurants and massage places are literally out of the front entrance. Pool needs better ways of providing shade. Breakfast was of a good standard and choice of how you would like your egg. Hotel showed flexibility when I needed to move my check in date - although I needed to call them due to no response via messages.

The location is great, close to the old town. 7-11 is 2mins away...two massage shops are just opposite to the hotel...coffee shop and restaurant are just on the ground floor...staff are very kind...free shuttle van from the airport and the hotel...
