The property is like brand new and very well designed. The room are very modern, big, spacious and with all the comfort you need. The bed is very comfortable and the area around is quiet. There’s kettle with tea, water and they also give you a complimentary snack every morning. The staff is super welcoming and they were very helpful with me when I told them I thought I have lost the key of my locker. The offered immediate help and they also booked a restaurant for us. Amazing property close to the centre of the main temples of Chiang Mai, just a few steps by walk. The price is really amazingly fair compared to what you get. Highly highly recommeded!

The location and the room itself was perfect, but the staff are what really made it. They went above and beyond to care for me and my friend who had to be hospitalised during our stay, which they helped organise the ambulance for us. Each night for over a week they allowed me to rebook the same room with little notice as we didn’t know what to expect in regard to my friend’s injury. Not only where they extremely flexible, they were also so caring, we received multiple gifts and notes from the staff members and the owners during this difficult time, and they were constantly asking about my friends wellbeing and recovery. We were already blown away with the quality of service and care, but the staff at Himku truly made me feel like I was at home and apart of the family. Kaung, Ink, Harry, the owners, and everyone else in their team are truly what makes this place special.

Great hotel, new, clean, spacious and friendly staff and in the room was a very nice booklet with a charming story of how this hotel came about. They don’t offer breakfast but there’s a coffee place with breakfast open from 7AM underneath the hotel so really no problem. Staff is very friendly and helpful, I had a problem what required sending a package, and they took care of it all for me, what was very kind and helpful. Location is great, close to the airport, walking distance from the old town. 3 buildings down the road is a good motorbike rental (Pop) the hotel recommended to me. Check if there’s a garden side room available, I had one and it was very peaceful and quiet, street side I’d imagine being a little noisy as the street is quite busy. If I’m every back in Chiang Mai I’m coming back to Himku 100%.

Immaculate, spacious, modern design rooms and interesting history and architectural detail. Perfect location for exploring both inside and outside of old city. Quiet room even though on busy street. While officially no breakfast or restaurant there is a lovely cafe with full menu in the same building less than 10 meters from door, and snacks in room. Receptionist was particularly helpful storing luggage then with getting me a Grab car to my next destination (could not have done in without her, as driver called and 2 minute conversation in Thai…)

It is beautiful, furnished to a very high standard and kept very clean. The location is also great, just outside the Old City but close enough to feel part of the action. The staff were so welcoming and helpful.

Nothing. The only thing is that breakfast is not provided as they don’t have the facilities but they leave you little snacks each morning to see you through until you can get out and find something to eat. There is also a cafe right next door so you do not have to travel far.

Himku is a beautiful, well designed hotel with spacious rooms. The cleaning team are incredibly proactive and thorough. The daily treats were extremely generous - think local baked snacks to try out. The cafe downstairs is perfect for breakfast and has great coffee too. The location is ideal, right by the old town on the one side and several night markets on all sides (day depending). We felt very much at home here.

I didn’t have high expectations because of the low price, but Himku was very nice! The rooms were clean and new, and the staff even made the towels into an elephant shape. The staff was always nice and went out of their way to help in any way they could. The location was great, just outside the walls of the city. They also gave us local snacks to try each day. Definitely would recommend on a trip to Chiang Mai!

Absolutely lovely stay at Himku Hotel! The hotel itself is cute and boutique, with only about 6 rooms available, which makes it also very peaceful and quiet. Love that it’s started by locals, the staff are very friendly and helpful too! The location is perfect, it’s right in the old city and there’s lots of bars, food and night markets nearby. Our room was huge with so much floor space to hang around. The shower was spacious and very clean! Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel!! Thank you for the daily snacks and great service :)

The hotel really thought of the details and made our stay incredibly comfortable, through, for instance, daily top up of water supplies, snacks, cleaning when we were gone… also, the story of the hotel and how it was built, by using sustainable techniques and upcycling materials made us stay there happily, as they did think of the environmental footprint of their activities. Would 100% stay there again and were even thinking about ways to go back, just to stay there. The location is amazing - central and quiet at the same time. The beds, bedding, deco - perfection!

Lovely small boutique hotel at the inner city ring of Chiang Mai. Staff was very friendly and room was spacious and well equipped. There are free cookies every morning, which was nice (as well as free drinking water). Every part of the city os easily accessible by foot from there (or tuk-tuk / Grab). There is a dry cleaner nearby cleaning all your clothes for 100 baht, great deal. Nice breaky options are recommended by the staff.

The shower hat very little pressure and the ventilator in the bathroom could be stronger.
