The owners were really friendly and hospitable. The rooms were provided with a bathroom and hot water shower. Even a common bathroom was also there. Free coffee and free bananas were provided, and the owner insisted that we should eat first. It was really nice of them. A microwave was there in the common kitchen, which helped us to warm our foods from 7-11, which is just 150 meters away from the hostel. There were some soft toys in the room, which gave me a homely vibe. Great for those who look for just a place to crash and sleep during the travel.

The rooms could have been provided with air freshener packets. The toilets in the room lacked flush, but the common bathroom had flush. Mosquitoes are more so it's recommended to have mosquito repellents with you when travelling.

The staff there was the most friendliest people we've encountered during our trips. Breakfast, coffee and water is included during your stay, and they are delicious! The staff makes them a la minute for you. We stayed two nights and got two different meals. On our last day we had a very early tour day and the staff lady rushed herself to make a breakfast box for us, which was so kind and lovely of her, because we didn't even knew we were going to get breakfast there so we were just planning to get some at 7-Eleven. Only for this I would already recommend this place! Don't come for luxury, but it's a nice budget-friendly place if you're seeking a place to stay for a couple nights.

We stayed in April, one of the hottest month. Some rooms only have fans, so it's still very very hot in the room.

This accommodation is very good for its price, for ~6,60€ a night for a double room you get a clean private toilet and a clean room. If you are backpacking this stay is perfect, it has a few streetfood spots and a 7/11 a minute away from the accommodation and you can walk to Chiang Rai downtown in ~15min. The place also has a nice spot on the roof to read or eat/drink.

This place has character it is certainly not pretending to be what it is not, it’s a bit funky with a bohemian chaotic flair but it’s clean enough, and it’s a good value compared to other places at this price of which they are very few, everything worked as it was supposed to and the rooftop patio was a pleasurable place to hang out, and it’s really close to the bus station if you need to leave early

A lovely Lady & her family run this place. This has lots character and old charm.There is lots of chill out spaces, seating areas, bathrooms, toilets, half size Snooker table, free hot coffee, free water, free Bananas. Can hire Scooter. The Lady gave me a free disposable rain coat, when I left at 4:30 in the morning! If you are on a tight budget, this is the place for you. Don't expect a Palace, for the cheapest Hostel in Chiang Ria.

The owner was very accommodating, allowing us to change our dates last minute. He also rents scooters and can help you organize crossing the Laos boarder and getting a Mekong river cruise.

The bathrooms and showers are a bit outdated. Be sure to bring flip flops or slippers you don’t mind getting wet.

Only 1km to Bus Station 1, night bazaar. 1.5km to large night market.White Temple 140bht bolt ride / Blue temple 80bht. Free microwave , coffee & bananas good seating area in lobby and only 300m to 7-11/ Lotus fresh. Shower hot water and fan room was adequate. Room/facilities not new but price value is great. If want new pay higher $$$ elsewhere.

It meant my needs and price value ratio.

- Superfriendly staff. - Great value for money. - It's only a 15 min. walk to Bus Terminal 1. From there, I took the local bus to the White Temple and Black Temple (for only 20 baht). - Free coffee and bananas in the morning. - I booked the small room. It was enough for me to sleep. (There is a big locker for your backpack.) So all good! 🙏

Underrated. Does is job. People are helpful. A lot of space to read or eat your food. Toilet 5/5 probably the best thing there. Bring your slippery shoes. I rented a decent motorbike there. Maybe not more than few nights, but for exploring chiang rai with the bike recommended
