Room seemed like recently renovated, it was specious and clean. The bed was super comfortable. Shower had good water pressure and did not need To worry that there are not enough Hot water. Also the days when you had the "do not disturb" sign on your door, they always left complimemtary water, toilet paper etc. for you without need To ask after them. Location was great In the city center. There was also free bicycles for hotel guests, but those were a bit small, so if you are tall, those are not for you.

The balcony In my room was very small, but that is most likely because of the selected room type, as There were also rooms with bigger balconies.

The Hi Chiangrai Hotel is conveniently located and a short 5 minute walk from Bus Terminal 1. Also walking distances to the Clock Tower and many of the Night Bazaars. Many restaurants and massage shops nearby. The decor and layout is incredible with so much lounge space in the lobby. The indoor swimming pool is just off the lobby with all the rooms surrounding in an atrium style. There is even a retractable roof over the pool. The room is nice sized with the most comfortable queen bed and pillows, nice bathroom, table and 2 chairs area and tiny balcony with clothes drying rack. There is a laundry service of 60 baht for washing and 40 for drying. Laundry soap and conditioner are 10 each and the big plus which surprised me is the receptionists will do the laundry for you. That's a total of 120 baht for all. The receptionists are incredible and I'd give a big shout out to Khorpawn. AL and Ching as being so great and incredible 11/10. We didn't include the buffet breakfast with the room but after having it our first morning I'm sure we'll have it every day. Well worth the price with a large variety of delicious choices. In summary, convenient to the bus terminal and so many of the downtown areas to go, great room at a reasonable rate. Our choice for Chiang Rai.

We had no complaints and the hotel went above our expectations. In our opinion the Hi Chiangrai should be rated a 4-star hotel as it exceeds the expectations of a 3-star.

We liked the location and the bed. It is very comfy even if the lower beds are just joined single beds topped with king size mattress. Those small pillows are nice addition and we slept comfortably in the bed. We also liked the variety of the breakfast options. They cleaned and tidy the room well. Everything seems to be provided during our stay. This is the place you should be. They have an air purifier by the bedside, laundry rack to dry clothes in balcony. Good water pressure and shower. I found out about this hotel watching "Jumping Places" vlog in YouTube... We liked our stay here 😊

Wish the aircon was stronger and can cool the room fast. The odd shape of the pool which has an interesting view from the top. I would suggest they make the shower room more spacious so there's no odds of bumping elbows on the glass.

This medium sized hotel was fantastic. We booked a Superior room with king size bed. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the bed super comfortable. All the bed linen and towels were fresh. The reception staff were friendly and professional ( a big thank you to them) The location was perfect among several restaurants and only a few minutes walk to the night Bazaar and to Walking Street The stay was great value for money and I will certainly be booking the Hi Chiangrai Hotel for our next visit. To anyone reading this review, I hight recommend this hotel for your stay.

There was nothing not to like

Breakfast was simple but good. We were able to order the egg, and main meal from kitchen, rest available was cereal, coffee, fruits, juices, desserts, toasts and salad, which we could get as a buffet style. Location was 5 min walk to the night market, lots of massage shops nearby, very convenient. Room was very clean, and hotel overall very clean and new. Loved the facility with the payable washing machine and dryer service. Solved our problem of washing clothes during the holiday. Got a swimming pool at the centre of the hotel, which kids enjoyed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Got some extra bits available, i.e, bikes at the reception, cold drinks which can be purchased, umbrellas in the rooms for guests use.

Very centrally located, close proximity (walking distance) to night market, bus station, lively area with bars, … quiet hotel, with clean rooms, AC and wifi working properly. Friendly and accommodating staff, extremely helpful with any requests we had (taxi, scooter rental, laundry, even calling to our next accommodation to arrange late check-in), one of the ladies working at the reception had an amazing English! Very good breakfast: combination of Thai and European food, scrambled and boiled eggs, sausages, ham, vegetables, fruit, toasts, butter and jam, muesli, coffee, juice, water for 200 baht. Def recommend staying at this hotel.

Clean and comfortable hotel, able to walk to local sites. Set up day tour with private taxi from hotel and they picked us up and took us to all the sites we wanted at very reasonable price.Breakfast was good with great variety, opens early. We ate there twice and walked into an amazing breakfast spot down the street but opened after 8:30am. Great clean hotel with good value. Self laundry was available on-site.

The hotel is clean, pleasant and well maintained. It located about a 10-minute walk from central places in the city. The rooms are clean. The hotel has a laundry facility which is very practical and helpful. The breakfast is good. The hotel staff is very kind and helped us with everything we needed, including booking attractions, booking taxis and any other matter. Mainly would like to mention Al. Thanks a lot.

The location is amazing. Near the night market, bus station and lots of convenience shops. The employees are very friendly and smiling they helped us to find tours and all recommendations.

I really can’t complain, just the fridge at nights was making more sound than usual and it was annoying for a while

Great location, reasonable price, comfortable

Cleaning needs to be improved. Lots of hairs in the room and the floor had clearly not been mopped before we entered (dirt and something spilt on the floor). I would also recommend some attention to the breakfast provided - it was good, but there’s a few things from a food safety perspective that needs attention (eg shared butter, large pile of chicken nuggets etc sitting with no cover / refrigeration or heating for hours)
