Everything. This was the best hotel we've ever stayed in, period. Our stay was fabulous. The staff is so friendly, so attentive, and very respectful. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. On top of it we received an upgrade for the room.They just topped it off with all the details: every day fresh water, every day your room gets cleaned, the breakfast was the best we've had throughout our journey in Thailand, they even "design" the scrambled eggs on your plate with a little fresh flower, they bring you fresh fruit to the pool. They take the leaves out of the pool like the moment it drops ;) Also the other food and cocktails are very good. They help you find whatever you're looking for in terms of daytrips, transport, etc. What a lovely hospitable team of staff they have, they really engage in a real conversation! And besides that the hotel lies in a great location on walking distance to the centre of Chiang Rai and the Saturday market is around the corner of the hotel. I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat, and when we return to Thailand, we will return to Mora Hotel.

Wow!! What a fantastic gem the Mora is. I cannot say enough about how incredible the entire staff is. So incredibly kind and attentive. Always bringing us fresh fruit plates and remembered our favorite dishes or preferences. Always fast and quick with a smile!!! The hotel itself is gorgeous and the food was fantastic. Get the Mora refresher!! So good. Had the best massage of my life!! Would have paid 4x as much anywhere in the states for a place like this! Thank you so much Mora staff!! You are in our hearts always!!

The gym could was usually hot inside, but you can turn on all the air. Just takes some time. No complaints! The pool temp was perfect!!!

Our bedroom was large and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was good. The pool area was very nice and the staff were really friendly and attentive. This place has some really thoughtful little extra touches. The hotel is located an easy walk to the main part of town and really close to the Saturday night walking streets, so the location is great. Grabs (taxi) are easy to get and very reasonably priced if you want to travel further afield.

The view from our room was on to the roofs of other properties, meaning there was a fair bit of noise (loud music/talking) from time to time. That was just the hotel neighbours living their lives, so no issue with that. If I stayed again I would request a room overlooking the pool; I don’t think you’d hear the neighbours and the view would be more appealing. It didn’t spoil our break and a pair of earplugs was enough to cut the noise.

This hotel really goes the extra mile. From the exquisite presentation of its food and drinks, to complimentary fruit drinks when you arrive back from sightseeing, and complimentary fruit platters around the pool. The staff are all incredible, from the reception staff, to the catering staff, to the cleaners. There is also a complimentary airport shuttle. They will arrange excursions for you, tailor made to what you wish to do. The hotel itself is immaculately maintained. It is very clean. The food is really good. There is nothing I did not like about this hotel.

I cannot think of one thing I would change about this hotel.

Location was perfectly along a quiet street but near main sights and market in town. Room was beautiful and spacious. The shower has a powerful spray, almost like jacuzzi! Love the bath amenities. The body wash smells heavenly! We were surprised by a 1000 THB dining voucher. Service at the restaurant was friendly and attentive. A complimentary fruit platter was served after our dinner. Breakfast menu was extensive with both local and western selection. A good chance to try the local cusine if you have yet done so. The reception offered information about various tours and also free bike rental. Biking was a perfect way to explore nearby temples and market.

Where do I start. I travel a lot and I am a somewhat picky traveller when we talk about hotels. THIS hotel was beyond amazing. It was fantastic at so many levels that words fail me. First of all, the hotel is CLEAN. Like, so clean your eyes hurt. Spotless. It smells nice everywhere. The elevator smells nice. The lobby smells nice. The shower gel in the bathroom smelled so heavenly I could not help but take 3 showers a day. Secondly, the rooms are very tasteful, well thought of and the amenities are abundant. The hotel location is also very convenient, if you like walking even the Blue Temple (which is so pretty!) is walkable. And thirdly. The staff. The staff deserves a whole paragraph and I will give it to them. I must mention our trip fell on some bad timing - Chiang Rai started flooding the next day after we arrived. We didn’t think much of it first, however, it started getting pretty serious. The hotel staff started warning us very early, giving us little updates and some advice on what could be done in case of scenario A or B or C. By then we had already been seriously impressed by their attention and politeness and impeccable management (clockwork! Even room services use walkie talkies so they can tell you exactly when your room will be cleaned if you come back mid cleaning). But when the flood situation happened we saw the truly amazing skills - zero stress, always patient, always kind, answering the same question for the 10th time with maximum information (because everyone was worried about all the same things naturally)-no cutting corners, no eyerolls, nothing. On the last day before our flight home the airport has been cut off our area and we were informed there was no way we could reach it so the flight for the next day won’t be possible (it was cancelled later on by the airline as well). The hotel staff did the most noble thing - advised us to leave one night earlier in order to make it to our next destination from another airport (Chiang Mai).

I almost didn’t put 10 as rating due to what happened to the shuttle car driving me to the bus station . The hotel offers such service . However they completely messed up with the bus terminal they needed to take me too. As the driver left immediately, I had to then rush and take a taxi . Thankfully I always make sure I am a bit ahead of time. But as they offer such a service (and I had shown my ticket to staff when booking the time ) they should be more meticulous when providing it.

Mora Boutique exceeded all our expectations, offering a truly exceptional stay. Each morning began with a delicious breakfast that was both varied and exquisite. The staff went above and beyond, displaying genuine warmth and hospitality, ensuring we felt right at home. Our room was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, providing a perfect sanctuary of comfort. The hotel's amenities are top-notch. We enjoyed the beautifully maintained outdoor swimming pool, which provided a refreshing retreat. The health club was well-equipped, and the spa offered a range of relaxing treatments that left us feeling rejuvenated. Moreover, Mora Boutique's central location made exploring the city incredibly convenient. Our stay here was nothing short of perfect, and we look forward to returning soon.

Lovely colonial teak wood decor with stylish bathroom and lots of space. The food was beautifully presented with fresh flowers on every plate. Nice pool area and rooftop bar. The staff were the best aspect of the hotel. All were extremely helpful and friendly, very eager to please. They booked us a private tour to the golden triangle and Doi Mae Salong tea plantation at a much better price than the local travel agencies. We enjoyed every minute staying at Mora and highly recommend it.

This hotel blew us away with its exceptional service! From the friendly staff who greeted us with smiles to the cozy and clean rooms, we felt incredibly well taken care of from the moment we arrived. Even though the pool was closed for repairs, the management went above and beyond to ensure we still had a fantastic time. We loved the delicious food at the restaurant, the stunning sunset views from the terrace bar, and the helpful recommendations for local attractions. Plus, the hotel's location near cafes, restaurants, and the night market made exploring the area a breeze. Honestly, we've never experienced such personalized service anywhere else, not even at big-name hotels like Kempinski. This truly was an excellent boutique hotel experience that we'll never forget!
