A Wonderful Stay at The Mora Boutique Hotel, Chiang Rai We stayed at The Mora Boutique Hotel for three nights in October, and it quickly became our favourite place in Thailand. The atmosphere is so calm and relaxing — perfect for unwinding after exploring the city. The staff are absolutely lovely, always smiling and eager to help with anything you need. Our room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The pool area was peaceful and inviting, with warm water and complimentary fresh fruit — such a thoughtful touch! I also booked a Thai massage at the hotel, and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The location is great too — just a short walk to the night market and clock tower, and only a quick taxi ride to the White Temple. All in all, a 10/10 stay. Thank you to everyone at The Mora Boutique Hotel for making our time in Chiang Rai so special!

We had a truly memorable stay at this hotel in Chiang Rai. The staff — always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Their warm hospitality made all the difference. The food was another highlight — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every meal was a delight, whether we were enjoying traditional Thai dishes or international options. The hotel’s cleanliness was impeccable. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, and the common areas were always tidy and inviting. It’s clear that cleanliness and comfort are top priorities here. We also loved the pool area — a peaceful oasis perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. It was well-kept and a serene atmosphere that made it hard to leave. All in all, this hotel offers a wonderful mix of comfort, quality, and Thai hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chiang Rai!

Beautiful hotel hidden away in the middle of Chiang Rai. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The staff are first class and the service is as good as you can get from the moment you check in. Lovely rooftop bar and restaurant. Dinner is great. Special mention to khun Aon who mixes lovely cocktails and has a wonderful manner, always eager to help and chat. Also a big shout out to Khun Koong, the F&B captain. A delightful person, always happy and willing to go the extra mile to help. A great swimming pool and a small and well equipped Spa. The signature massage is recommended. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this small boutique hotel and will stay again next time I’m in Chiang Rai.

Breakfast selection is a bit limited, but adequate.

Everything. This was the best hotel we've ever stayed in, period. Our stay was fabulous. The staff is so friendly, so attentive, and very respectful. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. On top of it we received an upgrade for the room.They just topped it off with all the details: every day fresh water, every day your room gets cleaned, the breakfast was the best we've had throughout our journey in Thailand, they even "design" the scrambled eggs on your plate with a little fresh flower, they bring you fresh fruit to the pool. They take the leaves out of the pool like the moment it drops ;) Also the other food and cocktails are very good. They help you find whatever you're looking for in terms of daytrips, transport, etc. What a lovely hospitable team of staff they have, they really engage in a real conversation! And besides that the hotel lies in a great location on walking distance to the centre of Chiang Rai and the Saturday market is around the corner of the hotel. I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat, and when we return to Thailand, we will return to Mora Hotel.

Wow!! What a fantastic gem the Mora is. I cannot say enough about how incredible the entire staff is. So incredibly kind and attentive. Always bringing us fresh fruit plates and remembered our favorite dishes or preferences. Always fast and quick with a smile!!! The hotel itself is gorgeous and the food was fantastic. Get the Mora refresher!! So good. Had the best massage of my life!! Would have paid 4x as much anywhere in the states for a place like this! Thank you so much Mora staff!! You are in our hearts always!!

The gym could was usually hot inside, but you can turn on all the air. Just takes some time. No complaints! The pool temp was perfect!!!

Absolutely amazing hotel! First and foremost the staff, friendly, welcoming, helpful, always doing their best and going the extra mile. They definitely make it feel like your home away from home. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with a lovely view from the balcony, everything is thought of from sufficient fresh water in the rooms to vanity items. The amenities are in abundance, swimming pool is lovely, there's a gym and spa on site. There are 2 areas to dine, one by the pool and a stunning roof top restaurant. Breakfast, meals, coffee and cocktails were all excellent and delicious. A definite must visit!

Beautifully designed boutique hotel. Very central but quiet location. We only stayed here for one night on our way from Bangkok to Chiang Mai but would have happily stayed longer. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, we arrived very early in the morning and they had our room ready for an early check in without any hesitation. Booking of a driver to take us to Chiang Mai the next day was super easy and the staff even recommended some must see sights in the area! Breakfast was very good (small buffet but ample à la carte selection) and they even made a mild vegetable and rice broth for my husband, who wasn’t feeling well. Highly recommend!

The staff is amazing and extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is well located and well kept. The room was exactly as described and even better than what we were picturing. We were able to fully enjoy our stay in Chiang Rai in this hotel. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay ! Breakfast was very good, the pool was great, and the massages were perfect. Thank you again to the staff for making us feel welcome and comfortable ! I would definitely book again should I come back to Chiang Rai !

Our bedroom was large and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was good. The pool area was very nice and the staff were really friendly and attentive. This place has some really thoughtful little extra touches. The hotel is located an easy walk to the main part of town and really close to the Saturday night walking streets, so the location is great. Grabs (taxi) are easy to get and very reasonably priced if you want to travel further afield.

The view from our room was on to the roofs of other properties, meaning there was a fair bit of noise (loud music/talking) from time to time. That was just the hotel neighbours living their lives, so no issue with that. If I stayed again I would request a room overlooking the pool; I don’t think you’d hear the neighbours and the view would be more appealing. It didn’t spoil our break and a pair of earplugs was enough to cut the noise.
