Hatyai is like my hometown. I have visited Hatyai many times and stayed in several hotels. There are hotels that I only went to once because the experience was not really good. But, Shiro-i Poshtel offered all I wanted for a short stay. I like the friendliness of the staff during the entrance. I love how she treats me nicely with good gestures. I felt welcome. The room exceeded my expectations. Spacious and comfortable room with a big bed. The bathroom also spacious and clean. The sleeping area is separated from the living area. They provide smart TV with Netflix. The bonus point of it. The room also has a balcony facing the street and garden. Very quiet at night. I like the vibe. I like how I can sit at the balcony with my partner overlooking the street, drink coffee and chitchat. Calm & peaceful. Ohh, the hotel has their own laundry next to the hotel, so it is convenient. The 7-Eleven is only about 200m from the hotel. The location is walking distance to the famous Gimyong Market. 10 minutes walk. The hotel does not have an elevator, but it is not an issue for me. The staff also helped me to lift the bag up even though I didn't asked to. Shiro-i Poshtel will be one of my preferred hotels if I visit Hatyai again. I will repeat, definitely.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the room was even ready before the official check-in time. It’s located in a quiet area with a couple of local restaurants nearby and just a 15 minute walk to a night market. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with A/C, hot water, and complimentary drinks and snacks.

The only downside was some mold in the shower, which is not ideal but unfortunately quite common in many SEA stays.

The dorm ‘rooms’ are comfortable and well equipped. It’s a cozy little place. The whole place is well thought out and welcoming.

Not the hostel’s fault but I think people in the dorms don’t realize we still share the same space even though it has a more private feeling because of the separated beds. Neighbors talked on the phone, talked between themselves (it felt like some even shared a room?), had loud phone notifications, etc. Maybe it could be reinforced to people upon check-in? Otherwise, everything was good.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to many markets. The room is very clean, and the shared dorms have individual doors, offering more privacy and personal space compared to regular shared dorms. The hosts are friendly and share helpful tips for transportation to visit Songkhla.

The bathroom floors tend to stay wet because the toilets and showers are connected. Providing slippers for guests could be a helpful solution.

This place is a real little gem...the staff are all very personable, and the overall vibe is one of true and authentic hospitality. The room surprised on the upside, spacious, bight, clean. my room had a view of lovely green trees, a beautiful golden temple.. Everything you need is a stones throw alway.price point is extraordinary value.

artwork in room is beyond kitsch and seems at odds with the otherwise Zen vibes. fridge in room unnecessarily turned off on arrival required long time to chill.items.

The hostel should do some briefing before guests check in. One of the guest on the phone in dorm room talking for hours And it really disturb other guests resting from 11pm til 1am also 7am til 8am..Hope the management will look into this issue thank you.

room is clean. staffs are very friendly, take good care of all guests, smile and greet us. Teach me go around shopping mall, money changing center, temples walking distance 1-2km to all nearby famous restaurant and lee garden.

You can book with the hostel a daytrip with a private driver to Songkhla and other cultural spots outside the city. Worth it service as otherwise I wouldn’t have visited all of that on my own, and all was very beautiful.

The wifi in the room (first floor) barely worked.

Only stayed one night, bed was comfy, good air conditioning, staff seemed nice enough

No soap to wash hands with in the toilet ! Even tho you have your own space the wall separating you from the next occupant doesn’t go all the way to the top so you can hear everything the person next door is doing.
