Breakfast simple and served hot.Great location walking distance to beach ,bars and restaurants.

I had a room on the top floor ( 4th??) and stairs very steep for an 80 yo.

The room I moved into was on the ground floor with a nice area outside the door to sit and relax. The breakfasts were very good value for money. The location was very central close to bars, restaurants and 24 hour supermarkets.

The room I booked was at the top of stairs, no lifts and the bathroom in the room was about a foot higher than the bedroom floor which I found awkward given my hip problem. Thanks to the staff I was able to move to a room better suited to my needs and expectations.

I will definitely come back here, the staff are so friendly they make you feel very at home and it's in a great location plus the bed was very comfortable and when I had breakfast it was 1st class.

I unfortunately ordered the room with a fan by mistake so I had a fan instead of aircon and the fan rooms don't have their own toilet so you have to walk 2 flights down to the toilet and shower. Next time I will make sure to check I have an aircon room with own bathroom. My mistake.

The Sofia is in a great location for both the nightlife and the beach. The room was kept clean and tidy and the aircon worked well. I only had one breakfast at the hotel as there is so much choice around, but it was tasty and good value. Pool tables are there if you fancy a game and it's nice to sometimes sit in the little garden area.

Carrying a heavy suitcase up four flights of stairs isn't fun. The hotel assistant offered, bless her, and I jokingly got her to try and just lift it! Perhaps make sure you have a male member of staff on hand for check-ins to the higher rooms?

The owners. They are amazing hosts. I got a room with a balcony and had a bit of a view of the sea. The room was cleaned almost daily, and came with a fridge. That fridge really came in handy. The price was excellent, as was the location - a 5-minute walk to the pier. Downstairs there is a pool table and a bar. The female owner, who looks like Natalie Portman, was just so accommodating and professional. I chose the fan room as I was on a budget. I miss that room and drinking beers on the balcony. 10/10.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

Hotel's territory is genuinely beautiful. The location is great, close to pretty much anything. The staff was welcoming and we had no problems with checking in or checking out. They have a lot of animals there, two kittens, a dog, a snake, a hedgehog, a rabbit, and fish! Everyone was adorable:) The inner yard was stunning, especially in the evening. The rooms were comfortable, there were towels, water bottles(they were also refilled), and a bar of soap provided.

It was said that there is going to be A/C in the room which wasn't exactly true(at least for our room). We only had a fan, which was pretty much the only downside of that place. The nights were extremely hot and the fan was quite loud, so might not be suitable for you who have trouble falling asleep.

Quiet location and nice room with balcony to sit and relax. Maid service excellent.

Little confusing to reach top room as 2 staircases to use. Had to go up a level cross landing to different staircase go down a level then cross to use another staircase to reach top floor. This was only in evening once main entrance was shut and had to come in side door.

Friendly & helpful staff.put fresh water outside room as didn't want room cleaned every day. Welcoming & approachable, a very good stay.

Pigeons nesting / noisy early morning. ( lots of them) cooing loudly.

Great spot with super friendly staff. We stayed for 3 nights and were able to easily get to the beach and near lots of great restaurants. Room was comfortable and the hotel had a decent breakfast. Would recommend.

What a hidden gem - we were completely surprised at the quality for the price we paid. Very cool with some low key animals roaming around minding their own business (cat/bunny)! Balcony had a view to the ocean (just about) and caught the morning sun :) pool table use encouraged & super chilled out - we used these multiple times during our stay, was lovely!

Nothing - had a lovely stay here.
