This place is First Class luxury all the way. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and taken to our beautiful ocean view villa, 30 yards from the shore. The villa was beautiful furnished in a colonial style with ample space and great facilities. The staff were all very attentive and happy to help. The large infinity pool, overlooking the beach, was perfect with plenty of loungers and cabanas around the pool / beach area for all guests. Two restaurants as well as a pool bar dining area were all very good and fairly priced. Breakfast was buffet style and lots to choose from. The resort was spotlessly clean and well staffed. There's plenty of free activities such as Yoga class, paddle board lessons, bicycles, and more. We really were spoiled. It's without doubt the best beach resort that I've stayed in, and looking forward to visiting again sometime. Thank You to all of the wonderful staff. Some other info that may be useful...We arrived by taxi from the airport, booked at the airport and they have set fees for each zone within the island. Taxi price was pretty fair at 800bt, c.£18 for 30 min drive. On returning to the airport we booked via the resort using one of their vehicles. It was a bit more expensive but in a luxury car with refreshments and treats. Napasai is approx 6 or 7 miles from the main resort of Fisherman's village which has lots of really good bars and restaurants (try J's restaurant / lounge on the seafront. It's excellent and great value.) Taxi (via grab app) is approx £8 each way from resort to Fisherman's Village. There are two large beach areas either side of the resort approx 10 mins walk. To the west is Ban Tai beach. The food and drink in the Mimosa beach bar are very good. To the east is Mae Nam and you'll find bars near the beautiful Wat Na Phra Lan temple. There are other bar / restaurants within 10-15mins walk of the resort although we didn't try them.

Everything for us was perfect. It's worth pointing out that the resort covers quite a wide area and it is on a hillside with some, but not all, villas sitting high above the beach. The walk might not suit everyone. Again, another point that wasn't an issue for us but may be for some, is that the shower was located inside a large stone bath with quite a high step to get into the bath which might not suit some people.

A wonderful hotel. Every day there is some activity (yoga, Thai boxing), every day fresh fruit in the room. The staff is always friendly and ready to help solve any, even the smallest problem. For example, I got a little sunburned and when during the cleaning of the room, the staff noticed aloe vera on my table, in the evening they brought me fresh aloe leaves.

Our stay at the resort was unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional service that exceeded all our expectations. The resort’s prime location is unparalleled, set in a picturesque environment that complements its traditional Thai-style villas. These spacious accommodations offered us tranquility and authenticity, with a stunning sea view each morning serving as a daily highlight. Dining was a culinary adventure, featuring haute Thai cuisine and fusion cuisine. The Chef Rong and Chef Mauricio skillfully prepared dishes that were not only delicious but also visually stunning, creating an unforgettable dining experience. The range of complementary activities offered was impressive, from morning yoga sessions with the coach Alisa that started our day with serenity, to Muay Thai boxing classes with Chad coach that were both challenging and fun. The private cooking class with Chef Rong were really a standout experience, allowing us to dive deeper into Thai culture and learn how to create traditional dishes under the guidance of a skilled chef. A heartfelt thanks goes to restaurant and bar personnel: Fon, Smile, Kris, Toy, Ae, Gafew, Han, Nu and others; to reception personnel: Esme, Aoy, Pare, Algen, Aom (sending her our best wishes for a smooth transition into motherhood!); and the management team: Ameur, Alla and others, for their unmatched hospitality and responsive service, truly the heart of the resort. Their warm and attentive service made our stay smooth and enjoyable. We left with beautiful memories and a desire to return. For anyone seeking a luxurious, genuine Thai experience, this resort is a true treasure.

We loved our stay with Napasai, excellent hospitality, kind and attentive staff, quiet and lovely setting of the resort with clean beach and all sort of daily activities for families with kids. Excellent food.

At breakfast there were moments when a second cooking station would have been good to have.

Beautiful hotel set within a sprawling, serene location toward the North West of the island. Private beach, excellent staff, incredible breakfast, wifi fantastic throughout the entire footprint, food delicious (we opted for half board and ate at the 'Lai Thai' restaurant every night - so so good!) and also close to fisherman's village and other places if you wanted to go explore outside of the hotel. Our room was stunning, set at the top, overlooking the sea and the resort - so so quiet, spacious and well kept. We thought the pictures made the rooms look a little old but it was not at all! Super traditional, mixed with modern amenities that worked perfectly like coffee machine, A/C and bathroom. We also had a turn down service every night that kept restocking thai sweet treats and fruits like passion fruit, dragonfruit and losads of other exotic treats! Highly recommend, an excellent hotel that exceeded all our expectations.

Being 5 star, it was quite pricey for drinks BUT they were so so good, I didn't mind paying but something to bear in mind. I also found the introduction to the hotel amenities and events of the week to be a little lacking. It would have been better if they had updated us on everything the hotel had to offer (for example, the themed dinner nights, how the dinners worked for half board and excursions available). The biggest disappointment was a dinner we had at the restaurant down on the beach. The menu was nowhere near as good as Lai Thai, which is a shame as all the food we had during our stay was so so good! These are really minor points, and didn't impact our stay at all - and I wouldn't change my exp from 5 stars!

Expectations were high for Belmond level but not met for many details. For example, breakfast items limited, events’ food mediocre, 50 min wait to get the iron to the room, noisy A/C, pool walls dirty, outdated furnitures, service partly good and amicable partly indifferent - managerial support could help. Overall, thinking price, the experience remains a bit disappointing. Really wish a good effort to make it better!

This place is amazing. Great quite location, amazing stuff, the room is very comfortable. There are yoga lessons for free. Very very recommended!!!!

Tiny things - There should be a smart TV in hotel like this and there wasn’t. The wood floor in the room is old and therefore very noisy. All the services from the hotel are very expensive (restaurant, laundry, etc) but there a several good food alternatives nearby .

Smiles and food ! Amazing activities, great service and friendly staff, beautiful yoga deck, wonderful spotless beach and pool , impeccable bar service , very clean rooms and amenities. Tried all activities fitness, Thai box, paddle, kayaks , sailing, snorkeling, windsurf, bike, Thai cooking, yoga, private boat excursion, private island tour all absolutely worth it ! Half board definitely worth the money ! Perfect handling of gluten free (maybe could have more choice at breakfast). Only downside is when the algies bloom the beach water turns bright green it is strange but it went away as fast it came. Villas closer to beach are very nice for being in the center of it all, all quiet no noise.

The sea-view room was absolutely beautiful and had a stunning view! The room was huge and incredibly comfortable with lovely deck and great a/c. Cocktails were delicious and service was attentive and friendly. Pool was beautiful, beach was private, and all activities and spa were wonderful. Board games and pool table were great fun in the evenings. Would definitely stay again and wholeheartedly recommend!

Prices for food and cocktails were well above market-value for the area, even taking into consideration this is a luxury hotel. Snack menu at the pool could have been more robust. After-dinner music or entertainment would have been nice to have.
