Harry's is very authentic and the lady on reception might be the friendliest person in the world. We went in low season so the restaurant wasn't open (opens in December) but the pool, reading/lounge area and hammock were available. It gave us jungle vibes and really a part of the local community - everyone was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay here. it's a short 7 min tops walk to the man road with both a day and night market just there. The beach just behind was gorgeous also.

Harry's is a backpackers paradise - so don't expect high quality stay but the bedroom was comfy, the shower/toilet facility a little outdated and we lost hot water on the last day of our stay but this didnt bother us much given the hot, humid climate.

Very large and clean bungalows, only a 5 minute walk to Maenam/Pralarn Pier, so a great place to stay before you head to Phangan or Tao. I also checked in around 10 PM, so no worries if your flight is arriving late. Staff was also very polite and welcoming. Will definitely stay again.

The bungalows are set in a tropical garden. It’s close to a few good restaurants and convenience stores. But it’s very quiet and family friendly. The bungalows are a bit dated style wise but everything is clean and working. Water bottles and clean towels every day. Beds are Asian style hard but as this is our second week in Thailand we’re accustomed. Huge refrigerator and new AC. The pool area is small but the pool good enough for a few strokes. A few stray but very friendly cats. Birds and a fish pond with koi fish. Friendly staff. The beach a few hundred meters from the bungalow is not the best. Take a Bolt to Boh Put instead.

Not much to complain about. There are better breakfast options than Harry’s restaurant a few steps out of the premises.

It’s a peaceful place to stay, spacious and surrounded with lots of trees and flowers. Also, super nice swimming pool! My bungalow was very comfortable, and had all that i needed. Tv didn’t work though, but hey, had my laptop and wifi was great! Also shower was doing a good job, no problems at all. Bed was very comfortable, considering the beds i’ve had before. I stayed for 2 weeks and i enjoyed the bed very much. Not too soft, not too hard, but also not crappy quality.. Every day they came and cleaned the room, and left 2 bottles of water every time

We loved our stay at harry’s bungalows. The size of the room was good, the bathroom was also a good size, the shower was separate which is better than some other rooms we’ve stayed in. The staff were incredible, she couldn’t have done anything better! 10/10 The pool is a good size and clean. The rooms were cleaned everyday which is good, with fresh water provided all the time.

It was a little far out of everything however easy to get around with a moped. The cats were very clingy and tried to get into our room on several occasions however aware this cannot be helped. The aircon wasn’t as effective as we would have liked, it got quite hot in the room.

WOW, what an amazing place to stay!!! Harry's Bungalow far exceeded my expectations! I booked this place as it is 5 minutes walk from the pier and thought it would be a good place for me and my parents to relax before we leave Koh Samui. When we checked in, we had terrible wifi. Once we brought it up to the hotel, the staff rectified it right away and offered another room to make our stay more comfortable. Being in the hotel is like a little oasis. The gardens and the library above the waterfall with koi fish pond was such a surprise! The pool was wonderful also. The hotel is located close to all the restaurants, massages and shops in town. I was so sad when we had to leave. The next time I come, I will be stay longer for sure!!

The hotel area was very beautiful, green and very calm. The swimming pool is surrounded by many trees and it was so clean The room was specious, clean, and comfortable.

I didn't like the location of this hotel. The beach near this hotel was near a pier and wasn't good for swimming and totally in my opinion the whole area outside hotel was unhappy and cold. The hotel serves breakfast in demand. Pricey to what they are serving! We ordered fried eggs, but it was served without bread, and they charged for bread separately, but the man in the restaurant was very nice and accepted to bring 2 toasts for free! Just 5-10 minutes walk to Pralarn Pier to catch our ferry to Koh Tao. The staff was super nice and accommodating. There is a bit of improvements needed as they try to recover from Covid closure but give this a place a chance. Although the pier was walking distance, we wanted to get a driver to help take our luggages to the Pier, the nice reception helped arranged transport for 100B. Harry's is also walking distance to Maenam Afternoon Market and lots of good restaurants (Pancakeisland with good coffee and Ristorante&Pizzeria Da Bardo with good pizzas & pasta were our favorites). Also go check out the guy down the road (smoothie place with bar, next to Sunshine Gourmet) - he makes great smoothies, his wife did our laundry, and set up a car for the day for us to check the waterfalls & hiking trails. Taxis are not as cheap on the island so a car was worth it.

If you are planning to go to Koh Tao or Koh Phangan, this bungalow is very close to the pier, only 5 min walk. I had a late flight to Koh Samui so I prefered to stay as close as possible to the pier for the early morning boat ride. The room was clean, I had a good sleep. The room is basic but covers all your need. Shower had hot water.

The pool was clean and beautiful and we mostly had it all to ourselves. The grounds were lovely and the green chicken curry at the restaurant was DELICIOUS

There was a high amount of chlorine in the pool that was difficult - not sure why - but was end of season so maybe they were doing a big clean. It wasn't the easiest to get to the beach but that was fine for us :)
