Location, food and facilities were very good.

Check-in policy. They are not flexible. Most samui flights happens before noon, so many of people come to the hotel same time as you (most likely) They keep everyone until 02.00 pm, then start to place to room. I asked initially, if the hotel full or not. If it’s full no complaints, totally understandable, we need to give some time to cleaners. But they told me that otel is not full, so I don’t get that why everyone has to wait exactly 2 pm? So if it’s not possible for everyone to check in early (while hotel Isn’t full) then I need to know why? Sea was not clean while we are there by the way, so we preferred to go Chaweng beach.

Beautiful Room, well appointed with a amazing glass roofed shower. Great choice at breakfast in air conditioned beach side restaurant. Stunning salt water infinity pool right off the beach. Only 2 mins taxi to Fisherman's Village

Nothing we didn't like but just be aware that different parts and rooms of the hotel are different ages and standards and I can therefore only speak for the room type booked which was a deluxe in the newest area.

It’s actually 2 hotels in one, you want to be sure that you are booking on the new side. It’s located in a calm area of Koh Samui, walking distance to the night market and some authentic small restaurants. The rooms smell a bit moldy, but I think it’s due to high humidity. The beach is pretty narrow with some old sunbeds, but not crowded at all.

The breakfast could be open till 10.30-11.

The beachfront stay/room is absolutely beautiful. It couldnt have been done better than this. You had direct private access to the beach and the pvt pool had everything you needed - from shower to tap for cleaning your feet before you enter the room. The view is to die for.

There is no hospitality here at all. No warmth from the staff. Given that i was travelling with an infant and i needed to feed her before feeding myself, i was denied breakfast because i was 10mins late. And whats worse is that the reception staff lady instead of being courteous-at the very least, blamed me. When all i did was raise a concern that you should be more accommodating and bare minimum you couldve atleast offered a croissant. Its sad how they ruined my entire stay with just this one negative experience.

More than pleased with celes samui. Food, people, rooms - everything was excellent and would stay there again. Saw lots of comments about the beach / sea and walking to Fisherman village. Essentially, we liked the idea of eating at lots of various places during our stay. The walk (via the road) to Fisherman's village, was around 10 mins and we managed to walk that route regularly, with no issues. Loads of great places to eat and drink, which are a lot cheaper than the UK. For a really cheap night, you could eat at the fishermans village market. In terms of the beach, there are better in samui, but we were happy to use the pool at Celes and also take a dip in the sea. Chaweng is 10 mins in a taxi or songthaew - which is around £4. We used to have breakfast at Celes and then pick a new beach to visit - like Chaweng, Limai, Choeng mon. And other days relax by the pool.

Infiniti pool was closed for repairs. But it was low season and they have to make repairs at some stage - so no probs.

The resort boasts three stunning pools, each providing a perfect spot to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast offerings were amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. My room by the pool was fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and with easy access to the pool area, making it ideal for a refreshing swim at any time. The location of the resort is perfect, situated conveniently close to local attractions yet offering a serene and peaceful environment. Celes has everything you’re looking for in a hotel. Don’t get fooled by the comments about the old and new part. Wherever you are, everything is close and beautiful.

The only minor downside was that the prices for in-house services and dining were a bit higher than what you typically expect. However, the overall experience and quality of service made it worth the splurge.

Amazing resort with great pool areas. Very quiet, big room, clean, good service and good variety of breakfast. Nice area, easy accessable by walking to shops, restaurants.

Not connected to hotel at all but the sand at the beach is not as soft and not easy to swim in the sea.

The facilities were great. There are three pools and all are in good condition - although one was much less frequented than the other two (and there was some repair work going on). The location is great, 15 minute walk to fisherman's village from the beach. The restaurant has good variety, all tasty and is well priced. But you can also find great alternatives around within 20 minutes of walking distance. The hotel has a shuttle to Chaweng and fisherman's village everyday twice.

The fact that there are two parts of the hotel and one is a bit more tired than the other feels kind of odd - we stayed in the more tired part but still the room is very large and good enough to meet our expectations. The sea was a bit of a let down because there are too many boats around and the water gets dirty quick.

The breakfast was the BEST we had in thailand. The pools were so nice, we stayed in the deluxe rooms near the beach but the other complex looked a little unwelcoming.. But the place is great

We loved our stay there! Everything was great, starting from the staff that were very friendly and attentive while in the same time discrete and offering you privacy. The room was very clean and comfortable and in good shape. The breakfast was excellent and fresh with lots of choices every day. Lovely green garden, beautiful palm trees along the beach, fantastic beach views from both restaurants and one pool. Great massage at the spa, worth spending more money on than the ones outside. We enjoyed every day!

There was one thing that we found really disturbing throughout the stay. The fact that every single morning, some guests would occupy the sun beds by the pools with a beach towel long before they would actually use it. That made it very hard for others and us to find available sun beds when we would have liked to really spend time by the pools. So we often ended up looking frustrated at the empty occupied sun beds. This happened in other hotels too, however we saw that the hotels can get a bit involved into the matter and make some courtesy rules at the pool so that everyone can have a chance to enjoy some time there. Anyways this didn't ruin our stay but it was a trigger to get irritated because it happened every day.
