The pool and beach were both great. Lots of family activities available.

As a solo traveller it just wasn’t for me - too many families with younger kids. A couple of small things that would help the stay: 1. The bungalows need wardrobes and/or storage draws - even though there is plenty of hanging space, there is zero storage other than that 2. The gym has so much potential but is let down by a few things: - it needs a new set of dumbbells - the ones that are there are prehistoric and have no weight markings left on them - one of the two benches is broken - around 50% of the time there was no water or towels available

The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and made for an amazing stay. Breakfast was also very good, something for everyone and tasty. Pool was great, we always found sun loungers but did notice it could be difficult for some in the afternoon when it was busiest. Beach was nice with paddleboards and kayaks to use for free. Restaurant had happy hour but is pricier than other bars and restaurants in the area.

Don't know if it was just the time that we were there but there were quite a few children on the resort. Obviously, i know it is not adults only but if kids aren't what you're looking for, maybe check elsewhere

Really nice facilities, the beach was lovely with sun loungers provided, fresh towels to take everyday and paddleboards and kayaks free of charge. The breakfast was fantastic and the spa prices were very reasonable. Wifi was good, so was the air conditioning in the room

The layout is so confusing, this will not put you off staying but it’s something the resort should really consider. Once in the bungalow area there are no signs pointing to the pool/ reception. The numbers don’t make sense with some being missing from signs (ours along with others). My friend successfully got lost every single time she had to get back to our bungalow alone, very funny but quite frustrating. It’s a little far from the main hustle and bustle but ok if you’re happy with a 10 minute walk.

Quiet, but sentral location. Nice staff and good food.

No places to put clothes, so everything in in your suitcase which makes your room very messy. No Netflix connection on the tv.

Liked the ‘seclusion’ of your own bungalow. Everything was clean and well maintained and the breakfast was lovely - lots of choice. It was a short walk to Fisherman’s village if we were looking for bars and restaurants.

Not all the staff were friendly, lots of glum faces around. I accidentally broke a glass in the room and the hotel sent a letter to me saying they were going to charge me 39THB! I was astounded considering the price of a stay. Fortunately they removed it from the bill when we complained. It wasn’t the price but the principle.

We loved the low rise, cottage bungalow design and landscaping including stylish central areas. The spa poolside and air con salon prices matched outside the hotel. The separate over the road main spa offers amazing packages if your budget can stretch to these. The WiFi is strong throughout the property. The complimentary extras of mosquito repellent spray and coil burner on the decking was appreciated. Lots of guests used the beach bag. The shower products were great, lathered well and there was a nice lotion. The extras toothbrush etc were replenished more than once during our week stay. The games room was quiet but pool, darts, table football on offer. Looked like there was also a cinema/TV room with showings. There is a great supply of books and towels and showers in communal spaces near the pool and salon which would be helpful for early- late checkin before transfers. There are lunch deals on offer and happy hour starts at 3pm for cocktails and buckets of beer. The pool is large, with a small jacuzzi and separate child’s pool. Towels are self service and thick quality. There are a few very comfort mattress beds but they mostly metal loungers on the pool and beachside. The tide doesn’t leave the beach, it’s a long strip but the deep coral sand makes a long walk more arduous than some stretches. Its aqua and clean unless storms bring plastic which is cleared. There are a few beach-sellers for food and gifts. Its very close to Fisherman’s village and it’s market, restaurants etc. Local Thai options also outside within 5/10 minutes. Thank you for upgrading us and your efficient check in! We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast provided a good variety. Great yoghurt toppings! Great coffee and choices. Our safe technical issue was resolved quickly.

Even better if: 1. All sun loungers had mattresses 2. Taxi transfer prices matched local prices 3. Publicity of dinner events doesn’t seem to engage guests so take up was poor. Guests need to know more about entertainment on offer eg saxophonist and quality of food on offer since they are competing with the Village. 4. More staff manning the egg station which is very popular - the employee worked tirelessly 5. Hotter self service buffet items and more self service coffee machines (3)

My stay here was absolutley spectacular, nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were treated so special and were welcomed with friendly staff willing to assist wherever they could. We were taken to our bungalow on a golf cart and our luggage was brought to the room for us. The room was big enough for two and had immaculate sheets and the bed was amazing, felt like sleping on a cloud. The morning view of the beach was breathtaking with the delicious breafast that they served with a variety of food. We even got the oppertunity to go kayaking as the resort had facilities available for guests which was such a fun experience. The resort is the epitome of their name Peace Resort, it was tranquil even though there were a few children around you could never tell. We woke up to the birds singing and went to bed with the lullaby of the waves. I cannot sing praises enough of how amazing the staff was from the restaurant to reception to ground staff, they made the stay even better. Literally cannot believe we found this gem, whenever I return to Koh Samui I will most definetly stay there with no hesitation!

There was literally nothing that I can fault Peace resort with, Amazing all around!!!!!!! If I have to name one thing that I didn't like was the fact that I had to leave this beautiful place...

Really loved the nice pool, very nice comfy lounge chairs by the pool and on the beach. Steps from the pool to the beach. The water was fairly warm in June but still refreshing. LOVED the close 10 min walking distance to fisherman’s village - market not on Thursday and Saturday night. But every other night it is open (best on Friday). It was so fun and I heard the best one on the island. Location was close to other massage parlors, cafes, laundry right outside the resort. Amazing service from extremely nice staff members. Breakfast was AMAZING I really loved the huge huge fresh variety - American style, also German style, and Thailand style breakfast. Tons of options literally such a good breakfast!

I found that the beds were not very comfortable (room 399). I woke up with shoulder pain every day….. Felt like an old fashioned spring mattress without any topper. I was very surprised how uncomfortable it felt. My husband didn’t notice the uncomfy bed at all… so maybe if you’re not sensitive you’d be fine. The beach sand is nice but not fine white sand. The bedroom bath tub on the balcony (outdoor bathtub) was unusable due to it being so dirty caked with grime. The rest of the room was very clean.

Friendly and efficient staff. All facilities and service excellent. Breakfast fantastic, other meals very good. Swimming pool very clean and well maintained, beach adjacent and sufficient towels and sunbeds provided. Well recommended. Room/villa great with provided coffee machine, regular drinking water replaced, no need for power adaptors as provided, as well as good showering products, sandals, umbrella etc. Towels replaced daily, very comfortable bed with sheets regularly changed. Beautiful well-maintained grounds, well laid out. For our honeymoon, sparling wine and special welcoming cake as well as decorated bed was a lovely touch!

Everything. Hotel was very nice and comfortable. Facilities provided were great. Was surprised that they provided little game spot areas (badminton, game room) so they won’t make you feel too cramp and uncomfortable. All the hotel staff (gardeners, front desk, porters and restaurant staff) were very friendly and nice. Special mention: Pok who took time to explain and show us the area and even offer to buggy us to the room even after showing us on the first round. It is always welcoming to be greeted with such kind of staff. Kudos to the team!

One thing that I hoped the hotel would take into consideration: game room was stuffy despite being held in a large room due to lake of air circulation. Air con will be a great option.
