We booked here for 5 nights and would recommend it as a good value place to stay. The cottages are clean and comfortable and have the basic necessities. The aircon works well and there are mosquito screens around the bed if required. The pool and sitting by the pool area is quite small but it was ok for us. There was also a some nice picnic tables to sit at and chairs outside your unit. You can access the beach for a swim via the Karma Resort. You can safely walk to Fisherman's Village, about 1km away. There is a very tasty family run restaurant right outside on the main road called Osmin. What makes White Cottage special though is the Manager. Her name is "O" and her sister Nee also helps look after guests each day. O was amazingly friendly and helpful and was always happy to help us out and have a chat about things to do in Koh Samui. She even noticed it was my birthday while staying and presented me a piece of cake with a candle. She is a big asset to the White Cottage.

This is a more budget friendly place to stay. It's way cheaper than anything nearby that has beach frontage. However, a couple of things to be aware of. The main road traffic noise is noticable in your room. It did not bother us but light sleepers may have an issue with this. It would be good if there was 2 more lounge chairs. The shower towels are very poor quality and get very wet very quickly. They should be upgraded. There was no separate hand towel which would be a good addition.

The room is well-prepared; the owner & the staffs are really helpful & supportive. The room is quite cozy & comfortable; there are smart televisions with Netflix & Youtube applications, which is quite a great plus. The swimming pool is the best thing here too.

The bathroom could be better. The towels are old & rusty. There are no private beaches, there is a small lane to go to the beach from the next resort, but the staffs (in that fancy resort) are not so nice. It's also quite far from the center so you may need to commute a lot; the only nearby attraction is the Fishermen Village Walking Street but they only open it on Friday.

Me and girlfriend were staying here for a night before meeting her family the following day. We booked an extra night in the hope that it would be ok for her family to come to the white cottage until the check in time of the accommodation that we were all staying in later that day. The staff were very accommodating with this request and we appreciated them facilitating this as they really didn’t have to. The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable and the air con was good. The pool area was very clean and it was pretty chilled in general. The beach was a 2 min walk away and you could also walk along the main road which had loads of shops, bars and restaurants. We also visited the fisherman’s village night market which was about 15 mins walk away. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Shower was a bit cold

Good location close to the beach, shops and cafes. Small property with just eleven units making it homely. Staff extremely helpful. Nice little swimming pool and well appointed rooms.

Everything was fine, the only issue was the ridiculously small and old towels provided in the bathroom (and no hand towels at all). Come on White Cottage, you have a nice property, treat your clients with a little more respect, so buy a few dozen new bath towels and hand towels to prevent people like me having to point out your flaws.,

The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable too! It was nice to have a chair and table outside as well as the pool. The location is also just a 15 min walk from a busier area! The staff were lovely.

The sound carries very easily from other rooms so I could hear my neighbors talking while I tried to sleep. This was sadly not ideal as I couldn’t fall asleep until late and woke up early. The towels also need to be replaced as they’re quite old.

The staff was incredible - so caring and helpful and truly went above and beyond. The hotel was clean and the facilities well maintained. The decor was nice too and the bed comfortable. Would definitely return!

The only negative was the noise from the industrial grade washing machines of the hotel next door, which were right next to our bungalow. Thankfully we’re heavy sleepers so it didn’t disturb us too much. Maybe something could be done about that noise :)

Lovely cottages in a great location within easy reach of the beach and shops/bars/Fishermans Village Night Market. The cottages were spotless and had tea/coffee making facilities. The staff were unbelievably helpful and did whatever they could to make your stay the best it could be. The pool is small but adequate. Highly recommend these cute cottages on a small,quiet complex.

Absolutely brilliant little place to stay. Cute pool and seating outside. Rooms perfect for the stay. Cleaned, new towels bedding water every day. Staff very helpful, a few mossies about but that's standard just bring spray. Breakfast ok and cheap! Really enjoyed our stay, close to the beach and about 20 mins walk to fishermans market.

The property was as photographed. The staff were very friendly. The manager was amazing - so helpful and considerate of all guests. She gave us lots of advice, helped us with taxi and local recommendations and had lots of aloe vera plants available for sunburn! The rooms were clean and the location was great - only a short walk from Fisherman’s village and very close to the beach!

The pool was a little cloudy and dirty. But lying by the pool was nice!

bathrooms need updating as very old, pool didn’t work or was very dirty, maybe filter not working but didn’t look like it was suppose to be used. old post say the same so I’m assuming it’s been like that for a while.. I’m sure when it was first painted and new was a very nice resort but everything needs renewing, everything needs painting again and in general the whole property just looked a little run down but I’m sure with some maintenance and new paint would make it a lovely place to stay. probably wouldn’t go back as there’s many resorts for the same money or a bit more that will be in better condition.
