Apsoloutley loved our stay beautiful rooms and lovely staff. The free included self serve breakfast was a really nice surprise. Fresh fruit , eggs toast cereal etc. Restaurants out front are really reasonable. Walking distance to fisherman's village and the night markets. Great massage place just down the road. Loved this place !!

Bit of a mix up with our room on arrival didn't get power for a few hours. We also paid for the night before so effectively got in about 1 hour before check in betime it was sorted.I would suggest contacting the resort as they often let people in early instead or charge hourly rate for early check in instead of paying night before when you land early. Completely my fault and not the resort. The bathrooms where very odd and ours had random pavers which where not in the correct place for the shower so became a bit of a trip hazard.

The staff are very helpful. We arrived early and they did their best to get our rooms ready earlier. The swimming pool area is small but absolutely gorgeous. The gardens are lush and well kept. The rooms are nice and spacious and everything is very clean. Outside each room is a lovely area to sit and have your morning tea/coffee or an evening sundowner. The kitchen is lovely and well equipped. Great location with plenty of shop and restaurants within walking distance. We stayed in 6 different 2-3 star hotels over our 3 week trip and the Avocado was our favourite! :) A family of 4 (2 kids late teens).

The main street is soo busy! But: as you enter the resort, the noise simply falls away. Everything is in perfect condition, always clean, just as the swimming pool. And the hosts, Noi and Jean Philipe, are very welcoming, gentle and helpful. Let the picture in the Rain not set you back, haha, I spent the entire time on our terrace, enjoying it 😉

From the street, it is not immediately recognizable, 😀 we've passed it twice, getting back. Certainly from the street, you will not see the quality of the place. But let that not hinder you, this place is among the nicest resorts we had in Thailand, during this trip.

I booked Avocado as there was no other reasonable alternative and couldn't have been happier for it is cute and authentic, unlike the other huge resorts nearby. Room was spotless clean and spacious, and the 2 complimentary bottles of water per day are a generous bonus. Loved the pool and the fresh fruit for breakfast. Excellent location a little bit off the main road so you can hear some of the traffic but nothing serious. Good location near restaurants and cafes, 20 minutes walk from Fishermen's Village.

A charming minimalistic resort. Beautiful jungle garden, peaceful sun beds and sun umbrellas, relaxing though very close to some of the most iconic places on the island. For a low budget you get excellent value, much more than expected.

The water in shower is heated with a small less effective device, but since it is always warm to hot, it's not really a problem. The floor in the bathroom looks like a outdoor floor... but again, these are only details, the experience here is lovely thanks to the kind stuff, the simplicity, the Thai atmosphere...

We were just on a single over-night stop after being on neighboring islands and departing following day. We wanted somewhere good value with easy access to Bo Phut for one final swim and an evening out, but quick and easy to get to the airport (15 - 20 mins). We really liked the internal architecture in the room, the shower wet room was great too. Overall, a really pleasant room and with a generously sized air-con unit and the fan going, could be chilled down to a comfortable -10c! The staff were lovely and everything was super-clean.

We were not really there long enough to not like anything. However, unless we had taken a wrong turn, the walk to the beach and Fisherman's village is a bit longer than advertised - but still not a big deal. Avocado is quite close to the main road, which is pretty busy and noisy throughout the day and long into the evening, so this is not your classic beach front bungalow type place.

I really loved the rooms. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The pool was the perfect temperature. Really enjoyed time in the water on those sweaty hot days

The beds were hard. This is the only downside to the resort. Food was simple but fresh and tasty. Staff were helpful. Location was excellent. But the bed were super firm which made sleeping difficult

Very close to Bophut beach (5min walk), walkable to Fisherman village market Plenty of eating places around 711 2 min walk Staffs are super friendly and helpful Free breakfast (self service) is basic but great quality Room is big, has great facilities Ambience is amazing, nice clean pool and the owner’s cute cats living in the resort will follow you asking to be pet whenever you are around.

Brilliant location and lovely little oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle. 10-15 mins to main area of fisherman’s village and beach. Excellent service and value for money. Noi couldn’t have been more helpful and even helped us organise taxis after we had come back from Koh Tao. Would absolutely recommend thank you for a fabulous stay.

Cozy little guesthouse 15 mins walk to Fisherman s Village. Rooms were large and very comfortable, with fridge, a/c tv. Pool was clean and underused. There was even a free complimentary breakfast. Rooms were cleaned every day and staff were always on hand.

Access to the beach was tricky as there were building works going on, and there was no clear path.
