The facilities are very nice and the staff very friendly. The hotel is right on the beach. A great location. The room was very nice, clean and well appointed.

I had a very noisy neighbor. who kept us awake until early hours of the morning. I requested to be moved to another room and the hotel staff would not accommodate my request. They wanted me to call in the middle every night when there was a problem. I was very disappointed with the lack of concern from the hotel staff.

The staff provided excellent service. Everywhere we went, the staff gave us a warm welcome. We were especially impressed by the golf cart driver, who was very attentive and willing to assist. The lifeguard at the swimming pool in the Royal Grand Hotel area kept a close watch on the children at all times, as the pool there is quite deep. The hotel was clean and beautifully maintained, with a pleasant fragrance throughout—though we’re not sure what it was. Despite having extensive gardens, the hotel never felt eerie, and there were no fallen leaves cluttering the walkways. The head staff at the breakfast restaurant provided great service, ensuring that all staff members were attentive and proactive in serving guests.

The staff looked slightly displeased when I ordered multiple omelets at once, but they still made them for me. And I found a strand of hair in the bathroom when I just checked into the room. However, it was just a minor issue.

The hotel environment is very beautiful. The hotel has its own beach, so the beach is less crowded. You can sunbathe on the beach or in the infinity pool at the hotel. From the beach you can go to the restaurant next door along the coast and they are very delicious.

On the first day, there are people hosting events at the hotel, and they play DJ music and dance in the center of the hotel outdoors. They are very loud. They didn't stop until after 10:00 when I was ready for bed. I called the staff, and they said it wouldn't stop until midnight. They ended at 11pm after a complaint from other tenants. It's a very bad experience and I can't understand why this is happening. It interferes with everyone's rest. When we checked in, we were not informed that there were other people doing activities in the hotel, and loud music would be played until midnight.

Loved the beautiful Cliff views of the sea and 5 fantastic swimming pools. Many facilities and restaurants to choose from, very relaxing stay. Excellent choice for families.

1) Some of the restaurants we were hoping to try Eg. Caprice and Le Rossi were shut. Such a pity! 2) Can be very hard to get a taxi from the hotel on busy days like Saturday night as it’s quite far up the hill and away from main central Pattaya, traffic jam along the route to the hotel. So you really have to make use of the hotel facilities, almost like a captive audience. But overall, we still enjoyed our stay at Royal Cliff Grand Hotel very much. 3) Breakfast buffet can sometimes have long queues especially during weekends, perhaps it might be an idea to stagger guests at different time slots. 4) Breakfast buffet is much better at Panorama than Larn Thong.

The hotel is part of a complex set in beautiful gardens on a hill overlooking the bay. I loved the different pool areas available to guests - something for everyone - and swimming in the warm water after dark (until 10pm). The gardens around the hotel are beautiful and attract song birds which add to the pleasure of sitting outside. Hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful.

As a downside to the excellent facilities, the hotel is a little corporate so lacks the atmosphere of small/boutique/family run properties. Due to its location, it’s not easy to take a walk off the hotel complex especially if you are a solo traveller. However taxis into town are cheap and easy (allow time at busy weekends!). Breakfast was a bit pricey (I didn’t have a deal) if you just wanted something light as opposed to the full buffet experience. The price was increased between the first and second occasions I stayed.

The list of things I loved about this property cannot be covered in this place. Everything... from the sea/beach view from my private balcony to the wonderful helpful staff that helped my aged parents reach the beach from the hotel to the wonderful dining experience at Maharani restaurant... was exceptional. There are four hotels in the Cliff hotel space and all of them provide an exceptional luxurious stay.

I can't think of anything to add in here in terms of things that could have been better... but if I must, I think the hotel could have created a personalized map for the guests to know about the entire campus and how to navigate through the way to reach the beach. Rest all were perfect.

Excellent Sea View, Landscape, Hardscape areas and Pool Configuration. Good Breakfast and Dinner presentation was very good. Some areas of facilities in the hotel that were closed during ( Covid-19 pandermic), is still to be open. This was an unfortonate event that has severely affected the whole of Hospitality & Tourist indudustry around the world. These issues are not to be blamed on the individual hotel operators. However this hotel had done more than any others to provide the best to the cutomers.

Hotel provides free transport facilities, to see around the whole of the three group of hotels complex. Taxies were freely available to visit the city areas and others. This could be improved by providing some frequent shuttle services to the town & beach areas with minium cost to the Customers.

A few swimming pools to choose from. Everything is expensive at the hotel - food and drinks. Try happy hour in the sunset bar, that is lovely and half price drinks (still expensive).

Couldn’t stay in the same room despite nobody else having booked it specifically so had to move. Half an hour wait in the morning to move things around, painful for no reason.

I never tried the breakfast.. the location wasn’t the best you had to get a taxi to anywhere you wanted to go to I wasn’t aware of even a shop in walking distance although it is a big complex and probably has everything you need

Room service, catering food, was tasteless and cold for the amount it cost. Just come out of hospital with Pneumonia very Ill would have liked sunshine on our balcony. Not enough information about taxi fees from hotel charging extra found out from Taxi drivers not staff. My wife found red worms in the toilet told staff on leaving, couldn't walk far, but only three days so didn't complain. Tv reception choice of programmes not good.
