Nice river view from the room, with different types of ship passing by. Very friendly host and cosy breakfast on a patio overlooking the river. Walking distance from several temples just outside the center. Beautiful riverside restaurant a few 100 meters away.

Accommodation located at the end of a dead-end street, with the parking 300m from the location (bag drop-off possible but narrow opportunity to turn the -saloon- car). Several flights of stairs not suitable for people less fit.

Hospitality was A+++! From the moment I stepped into the property I felt welcomed by Weewa and her family. Breakfast was exceptional! The room was clean. The location was close to all the points of interest. I was welcomed with a special tea and was sent off with fruit and dessert. The host was very thoughtful and accommodating. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. If you’re a lucky guest, you may get treated to Kanom Tuay during breakfast.

When booking , I wasn’t aware that the room was a part of a family home nor that the bathroom was separate from the bedroom. While I felt awkward walking out to the receiving room to access the bathroom , I never ran into anybody else. The bathroom was solely for use by us. It was surprising at first but the hospitality made up for it.

This is a lovely place hidden in the grounds of a temple. We asked the owner if we could come a day early (last minute) and she quickly accommodated us which was a lifesaver. She welcomed us and offered helpful advice about all of the local attractions. The room was spotless, comfortable and large. The breakfast was delicious and tailored for vegetarians (if you request) There were many little details we loved and the owner went above and beyond - she even offered to iron one of my dresses for me. They are kind people and it made it a really nice stay in Ayutthaya.

The host was really welcoming and helpful. The family were friendly too. She was so kind making me ginger tea when I was unwell and her young son brought me a flower! The breakfast was fantastic and so lovely to enjoy it on the riverside terrace. The house was amongst some lovely temples - a quiet location. We could walk to watch sunset at Wat Chaiwatthanaram.

We had use of a private bathroom but we had to leave our room into the large family room to use the bathroom. Felt a little awkward when I was unwell.

Extra friendly family, mainly we talked with the mother and the daughter, they helped in every need. From finding a good reliable tuc tuc driver to money exchange to ironing or washing clothes to the train schedule. Every single need or question we had was sorted out. We felt like we were staying with our friends. Also a delicious thai breakfast. Clean and tidy, adorable veranda with river view. And excellent location in Ayutthaya.

The bathroom needs small improvement like replacing the WC lid for a newer one since it's yellowish. Same with the shelf in the basin. But overall the place is truly adorable and I am already recommending it to some of my friends.

Beautiful, clean, quiet, most comfortable bed and best sleep we had, excellent breakfast, free bicycle. The extremely friendly and helpful hostess helped to arrange a private boat tour which picked us up directly at this hotel pier (no commission). We enjoyed the quietness and wandered around the temples on our own while the boat lady patiently waited on the boat. We had tested the free bicycle for 3 hours but even in Spring, it's too hot to tour around the sites. The hostess helped to call a tuk tuk (no commission) for a 3-hour visit for only 500b, free bottles of cold water provided on the tuktuk. There are some street food vendors and a 7-11 5 mins walk from the hotel. We bought food and ate in the hotel garden with cold beer and a river view.

For those who want everything nearby, this isn't the place for you.

Absolutely amazing true family stay. We stayed 2 nights at the 5 star property Sala prior to Loy and we far enjoyed Our stay at Loy. Such warm, inviting and beautiful hosts, super clean, large and open property with great surroundings (attached to temple and on the river). I would recommend using Grab app to get around.. I have travelled all over Thailand over 13 visits and Loy is the very best representation of beautiful Thai warmth, nature and culture that is fast becoming extinct due to tourism 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Restaurant down the road closing early (8pm)

We arrived to a very warm welcome from the lovely family that own this accommodation. Our room was huge and bright with A/C, super comfortable bed, pillows and linen, separate bathroom. Delicious breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the river, we were also treated to home made cake. Everything about this accommodation is carried out with great care to detail.

Lovely hotel with a really nice view on the river. The rooms were really great and spacious. It is situated close to most sights so you can comfortably ride there with bikes provided for free. The owner was wonderful and helped us with whatever we needed. Felt very at home with the additional benefit of cuddles by the family cat. The breakfast served on a terrace right next to the river was delicious.

Beautiful guest house located on the river. My room overlooked the river and one of the oldest Buddhist temples in the area. The host family were lovely and warm and even made me a late breakfast on Sunday morning. The local area us great with a number of temples within walking distance. The other locals in the area were friendly and I was invited for tea at the temple. I would highly recommend this guest house.
