We recently spent five days at Baan Karonburi Resort in Phuket, and overall, it was a pleasant experience with a few minor shortcomings. Location: 4.5/5 The resort is perfectly situated just across from Karon Beach, which made beach access incredibly convenient. The area is quieter than Patong, offering a peaceful, laid-back vibe while still being close to shops, restaurants, and other amenities. It’s an ideal spot if you’re looking for relaxation but still want easy access to Phuket’s attractions. Accommodation: 4/5 We stayed in Deluxe Room, which was spacious and clean. The decor was traditional Thai style, though a bit dated in some areas. The balcony overlooking outside area a lovely touch, and I enjoyed sitting out there in the mornings. The bed was comfortable, and housekeeping did an excellent job of maintaining the room daily. However, I noticed that some fixtures could use an update, such as the bathroom, which felt a bit worn. Especially the commode. Facilities: 4/5 The pool area was beautiful, with a relaxing atmosphere and plenty of sunbeds. The resort also has a fitness room, though it was small with limited equipment. I did appreciate the massage services available at the resort, which were reasonably priced and provided a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. Dining: 4/5 Breakfast was included in our stay, and while there was a decent selection of food, the variety didn’t change much over the five days. The quality was good but not outstanding. The resort’s restaurant served tasty Thai dishes for lunch and dinner, though we ended up dining at nearby restaurants for more variety after a few days. Service: 4.5/5 The staff at Baan Karonburi were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were quick to respond to any requests, and check-in/check-out was a smooth process. While some staff members spoke limited English, communication was never a significant issue.

Great location. Opposite beach and walking distance to shops. Not right in the hustle and bustle of Patong but not too far away either. 15 min taxi ride. We had a pool access room which was fabulous. Could cool off anytime without having to walk to main pool. Was pretty quiet but a long walk to get to it as located at back of the resort. Staff were very helpful. Buffet breakfast was very good. Lots of variety. Great air con. Kept room nice and cold.

Bathroom bit old, could be updated. Step down into pool was very deep. Need a rail to help get in and out of the pool.

Could not ask for a better location. Beach across the road, shops,markets, and restaurants all close by. Street food options and money exchange places a plenty. You could easily spend the day at the resort or venture out and explore , with all types transport options at your doorstep.

I can't name anything I didn't like

The room is spacious and very new. The swimming pool is around with some trees, so it isn't expose to sunlight too much.My little son was swimming in this pool all day. The Beach is nearby. When we ate breakfast, we had a sea view. A young girl staff -wearing a silver watch-working in the restaurant was very nice and helpful.

Except the girl I mentioned, the other staff usually had a cold face.

The room smelled musty. Extensive walk from the reception area and breakfast restaurant to my room 2209, but it is the way the other nearby resorts are contructed too. Beach umbrellas are not provided by the resort - FYI, not a criticism

The hotel is very nice and clean though its territory is not big. It's just in the middle of Karon beach right next to the coast. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis, the breakfast is delicious with a big variety of meals.

The Internet connection was weak. We came earlier and at first the staff said that we could have breakfast for free which is reasonable since anyway lots of food is left after breakfast but then they changed their mind and demanded 250 baht/person.

The room is nicely and stylishly designed. Equipped with a large, adequate balcony. However, I feel that a little facelift would be nice. The hotel also has a swimming pool, which is very nice. There is a bar next to it where you can drink all kinds of drinks. The beach is close, you only have to cross a road and approx. You have to walk 100 meters to the beach. There are also sunbeds on the beach, and paragliding, motorboating, and jetskiing are also available. Breakfast offers many options, but it is almost always the same every day. Anyway, I am completely satisfied with the breakfast. I recommend it to everyone, I had a great time here.

The room could use a little renovation. The television is not a smart television. Anyway, everything was fine. They cleaned, changed towels and tidied up every day.

The rooms were really clean and spacious, each room had a bathrobe and flipfops complimentary, there was a good breakfast with plenty of choice. The pool was great, with a swim up bar.

Over all the hotel was wonderful, if I had to find fault with anything it would be that the toilets was quite far away from the pool and the pool side bar. I choose to visit the room as it was closer.

Very good location - beach just in front, shops, restaurants, market and other useful places on walking distance. Rich breakfast, you can even order eggs cooking type you prefer. Spacey room, comfortable bed.

Aircon is a bit too loud.

The photos do not do justice on booking.com the resort was amazing my family loved the place specially the rooms with access to our own private pool its amazing to wake up and open your patio door to a walk in to a pool. The room itself is a very big plant of room and excellent. I'd recommend the pool rooms to anyone who is thinking of staying at Baan Karonburi resort. The location is fantastic directly in front of the beach, having breakfast while looking out into the beautiful view of the fantastic beach is something to be appreciated. A big thank you to all the staff from the front desk to the hard working cleaning staff who made our stay a very memorable one as my family are still talking about it and wants to return for our next holiday 😀.

The only thing I'd say is the distance from all the activities like hanuman world tree top adventures, phi phi Island and others but this is a very small price to pay as Baan Karonburi resort is situated in a family friendly location away from all the hustle and bustle after all the activities and all the noise you can come back to relax and recover then to start all again the next day 😀. In regards to activities there is a place to the left of the hotel when you come out few meters walk up a very friendly lady called Amina she helped us arrange these activities with a good price too as we did look around maybe mention my name Abrur Mannan you might get a discount eventhough her prices a very reasonable
