We recently stayed at Chanalay Flora Resort with my spouse and mother-in-law to celebrate two special occasions: our 5th wedding anniversary and my mother-in-law’s 55th birthday. The hotel made our stay truly memorable by giving us vouchers for a plate of fruits and surprising my mother-in-law with music and a cake during breakfast. It was such a thoughtful gesture! The hotel is spotless, with two beautiful pools and easy access to the beach. There’s even a nearby 7-Eleven, which was really convenient. It’s the perfect place for a 7-10 day stay, offering all the necessary amenities. Will we return? Absolutely yes!

The staff is the friendliest I’ve ever experienced! Everyone always had a huge smile and were genuinely happy to see you. The room was clean and spacious with coffee, tea and water provided daily. Great shower with hot water and shower gel, shampoo and lotion. The resort had a great breakfast buffet with a lot of options (although it was a bit pricey for breakfast but definitely worth it!) 2 pools and a gym were really nice bonuses. Walking distance to the beach and main streets with shops, restaurants and bars yet still a quiet hotel. Highly recommended

Property is perched upon a hill overlooking Kata - Everything you need is within 2/3 minute walk. Fantastic!

Breakfast could have been better truth be told, however, the staff were beyond excellent and kind.

This hotel is wonderful. The 2 swimming pools were perfect too cool off in. Having the bar to order drinks and snacks was great. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond. The batteries in my tv remote were dead and they came up straight away and followed up with a phone call. It was one of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed in the world. Nothing was an issue. The room was basic, but the fridge, tv and bed were perfect, along with the balcony and gorgeous views of the Sea. I would stay here again. Also only 3 minute walk to beach.

I cannot fault this hotel. It was perfect value for money. There can be tiny little lizards around the walls of general corridor areas and the cicadas were extremely noisy in the trees but it was part of the experience of Thailand and I would stay again.

Very clean rooms, very polite personnel. The hotel was not too big, so it felt cozy. We loved the fact that it was not on the main road, so it was quiet both day and night. However, it was within walking distance to all the shops and nightlife, just a few minutes away. The beach was accessible via a small walkway, which took about 5 minutes. There was a great selection at breakfast, and parking was also available. Overall, we loved the homey feel!

I really loved my stay in Chanalay Flora resort. The personnel in hotel was very attentive and caring, thanks to them, I'm as solo traveler felt very safe. Especially thanks to hotel employee Mr Sky. The breakfast vas various and tasty. During my stay the personnel proposed me to make free upgrade, so my room was stunning and I had a perfect seaview from my balcony. The hotel territory is very cosy and clean, two very nice swimming pools and lots of trees and flowers. Also, the hotel located very next to Kata beach (like 3-4 min of walk) and Kata Noi Beach (10 min). The both beaches are beautiful and clean. I'm strongly recommend this hotel to stay in Phuket for all types of tourists: families with kids, couples and solo travelers. I'm sure next time I'm going to stay in this hotel again when visiting Phuket.

The staff were all lovely and really helpful, they made you feel like a VIP. The rooms were a decent size and clean. The pool was gorgeous. We didn’t eat at the hotel so we didn’t get to experience the food unfortunately. The hotel have a taxi stand in the car park which was really handy and all the taxi drivers were really nice. We didn’t realise there was a shortcut to the beach near the hotel and spent over half an hour walking to kata beach until we realised the last day ( this is our fault for not realising but just mentioning so future customers are aware there is easier routes to the beach ). We recommend visiting yanui beach to visit as this was our favourite.

The location is really nice if your staying in kata but it can be expensive to visit other areas of Phuket.

The hotel has exceeded all expectations! Everything was very comfortable and beautiful, the staff was polite and friendly, the breakfasts were delicious. The room was clean and well renovated, it had a large comfy bed, a big table so it was possible to work from the room, a refrigerator. Drinking water, tea and coffee bags were brought to the room every day. The hotel has a very convenient location, there are many cafes and restaurants around, as well as a quiet and beautiful Kata beach. For several years, this trip turned out to be the best holiday, we got incredible impressions, get relaxed and fully enjoyed Thailand. I celebrated my birthday during the trip and the staff left some cute congrats in the room - I was very pleased :)

bad sound isolation, specially since our rooms were next to the busy street, but we new about it before our arrival; there were also some mosquitos in the bathroom

Great hotel, loved the 2 pools and fantastic buffet breakfast each day. The staff in the hotel were fantastic, especially Nan the bellboy. The gym was also pretty good, it did the job!

Don't trust the taxi drivers parked in the hotel - one accepted our drive to the airport on Grab then tried to force us to cancel on the app and pay him cash, and then got a bit grumpy and told us to just cancel and get a different driver. Very disappointing the staff in the hotel let a driver like that try and harrass their guests.
