Awesome location, close to the beach and restaurants. Lovely pool, lovely staff. Nice big rooms. The breakfasts were nice and huge shout out to Phisuth and the staff who were so lovely and kind!! Nice gym, good aircon, overall excellent we booked forn3 nights ended up staying for 14!!

There is a big glass wall between the bathroom and the bedroom, which becomes transparent when you switch on the bathroom light. But when I asked to change rooms, the staff quickly put up a black blind which resolved the issue. So if you don’t like being watched on the loo, ask for this!

Great location Close to the beach Staff on the reception very approachable . Beds very comfortable.

We had a swim up Room which was a nice surprise . The room itself was a little dark feel needs some additional lighting in the hall way area . The room itself I feel looked a little tired and needed some modernisation decor etc . The bathroom was very cramped and needed an overhaul and decor . But just my personal thought’s . Breakfast room area so Small and needs to be expanded to accommodate volume of guests .

Hid away down a little side street so away from the main hustle of the main road but easy to get to everything, The room was small but very comfortable and clean , Had an issue with the shower on day 1 and the maintenance team attended immediately and fixed it The staff were exceptional, polite, efficient , courteous , really helpful and spoke excellent English A very short walk to the nearby excellent beach , all in all a very good stay

Some maintenance needed in a few areas T.V quite complicated to operate ( no big problem as I was out all the time) Pool area quite small and always seemed to be in the shade. Bathroom didn’t have complete privacy as there was a huge window from the bathroom to the bedroom with an opaque blind so with lights on anyone else in the room could see into the bathroom.

The manager of the breakfast is an absolute gentleman, he is part of the reason we have returned for our 5th time to Sugar Marina . He takes customer service to an entire different level . What a legend . Thank him from Richard and Branka ( room 2105) We literally flew into Australia a few minutes ago and I already booked our next trip Oct for 2 weeks and I’m about to jump online and book Sugar Marina Fashion again . I’ve travelled to Phuket over 60 times , stayed at both resorts across the Rd on the water in their penthouse suites , views/ location amazing , staff and customer service needs a lot of work . Sugar Marina Fashion is my pick . 10/10👌👌👌👌

The most important for us was to choose a nice location with a good access to the beach- so that’s why we decided to book that hotel. Location is very nice If we speak about hotel - it was my second booking and recently i stayed there in 2019. Very cosy, nice guys in reception desk , daily basis cleaning is very well done.

The hotel looks like very modern on first sight but staying there you’ll get an understanding that it needs to be fully renovated , especially all rooms. There are a lot of scratches, spots. All equipment and bathroom stuff is very old, AC shall be fully cleaned or changed. Furniture shall be also renewed One point which I’d like to highlight - lady in reception firstly promised that we won’t have any issues with late check out and asked us to come the day before we leaving - we came and other lady was not so much happy to help us and we very almost praying for her to help us with that. Finally we got what we needed but with a little bit disappointment that she didn’t want to help us firstly.

The hotel was 2 minutes by foot from the beach and the room was spacious with swimming pool access. The breakfast was great but served in a nearby restaurant. Also there was possibility to have early take away breakfast, specifically useful if you book a tour in Phuket.

The hotel was under construction during our stay and it was noisy during the morning. Also the public areas were full of painting dust due to the renovation. The breakfast menu and time needed to be decided by the guest one day in advance and inform to reception which was quite inconvenient. I do believe there could be a better option.

The location is the best! walk straight out across the road and onto the beach. The link with a restaurant for the breakfast is super and a very nice breakfast indeed.

We had one male receptionist who was exceptional and polite however there were two other lady receptionist who weren't as friendly/helpful. The lack of sun loungers around the pool.

Loved how close it was to the Beach. The pool access room was amazing, loved being able to just jump in from the room. We had room 1108 which was at the end of the pool so we felt like we had a little corner all to ourselves. The beds were comfortable and the Kiri restaurant on the corner where you also have the hotel breakfast was delicious, a huge range of food, quick service and a great atmosphere.

We think the blind in the bathroom needed to be a bit more blockout. Lucky we are very close friends as you could see straight in from the bedroom to the shower and toilet area 🤣

We stayed 2 weeks as we love Kata beach. There was a major renovation of the reception area at the hotel while we stayed. Beds are firm but very comfortable. The room lay out is very good and had all we needed. Breakfast was at Kiri cafe on the road front. Two of the staff in particular are so hard working and were so helpful and friendly. Due to so few guests you got to order from 6 choices of breakfast the night before. The choices got boring very quickly and was a bit hit and miss. The fried rice will fill you up for the day. The machine coffee was good but when they make one especially for you it is probably the best in Kata.

There really needs to be a no smoking area at breakfast. With the renovation there was constant tile cutting and hammering up to 6 pm every day. No chance of an afternoon nap. So much dust and dirt floating in and around the pool it was not worth using. The gym was closed for the renovation. Our room was not actually in the Hotel but on the laneway outside and could be noisy when things get busy again.

It was awesome value for money
