Great location, only 5 minutes to the beach and very close to the town centre. We could also see Big Buddha from the room and it was very close to get to it by the tuk tuk. The manager went above and beyond to give us room we originally booked (twin) after we were put in double at the check-in. The room was cleaned daily and the hotel offered 10% off at a local restaurant on our first night. The beds were very comfortable.

The receptionist seemed bored and uninterested on our arrival. It was only after we complained about our room (we booked twin and were given double) and asked to speak to the manager that she changed her attitude. After that, she was very nice, friendly and helpful. On the last two days of our stay the aircon leaked on the terrace so we could only use half of it as the floor was wet and slippery but it wasn't that bad to put us off returning. The swimming pool wasn't looked after and was closed until 9am, would have welcomed to have a dip in clean pool early in the morning.

Hotel and pool were clean, great location and friendly staff. As it rained occasionally during our stay, the hotel also provided umbrellas for guests to use which was great. Free bottles of water in room fridge available daily also.

A slight hill walk up to hotel may not be ideal for everyone. Breakfast was not available but there was a bar if you wanted to have a drink.

Kata Seaview Hotel was an awesome place. Loved the location. Super close to everything. Big room. Very clean. Super comfy bed and good sized bathroom. Liked having the mini fridge in the room as well. Big balcony (although my balcony didn't have much of a view facing the parking lot) The staff were awesome and super helpful. I liked the little pool as well - great for cooling off and chillin' out. All the beaches in the area are fantastic. SO gorgeous. Tons of restaurants, 7-11s and shops nearby.

My room was on the "backside" facing the parking lot so no real view. My balcony faced the parking lot as well. However, in fairness, they offered me an upgrade with a better view and nicer room but I was content to stay at my price point. Some folks may not like the short walk up the hill to get to the hotel but not an issue for me because I had a motorbike.

The location is excellent, close enough to the city centre that you can walk to it, but not too close that you can't sleep at night. The wifi was stable, I was working from home and had no issues during video conferences. The reception lady is lovely, friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, and they provide all the necessary amenities. Perfect for a short (or long) stay in Kata.

There is nothing I didn't like about the place. Just keep in mind it is not a 5 star hotel. If you are looking for luxury, I suggest you go somewhere else. But if you are looking for a fairly priced, homey stay while in Kata, this is a great option. Run by a sweet woman who is very kind and helpful.

Very spacious room. Well stocked and maintained. Very close to beach and local shops. Hotel allowed no smoking of Canibas which was a welcome especially travelling with kids. The pool was amazing and very private. Breakfast was also very good and staff very friendly.

The walk up the hill. Lol. Was not too bad though. Everything else was great.

The location was fantastic (just a 5 minute walk from Kata Beach). We stayed in a triple room (inc. a double and single bed) which suited our family perfectly. The room was spacious and airy with a lovely balcony and sea view. The air conditioning really helped us sleep well and the beds were comfortable. The free wi-fi was also superb. The outdoor pool was lovely and we saw it being cleaned during our stay. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The lady who ran the hotel was particularly nice, helping arrange a taxi for us from the airport to the hotel and supporting my wife when she injured her foot.

The money you pay for the room is well justified by the room size, balcony and sea view. Be aware though that the room itself is very basic, the curtains are thin so let a fair amount of light in in the morning and the ensuite bathroom is a wet room. Also, Booking.com states there is an airport shuttle however please note that it is not directly linked to the hotel. You have to arrange the shuttle yourself although the hotel owner can help with this. We were a little put off by these observations when we first arrived but ended up having one of the best hotel experiences in a very long time!

Everything about this hotel is great! From the staff to the location. The receptionist Chanok is a nice and understanding woman, always helpful ! And the other staff was very nice Breakfasts in the hotel although not included, but to order portions are huge and delicious !

The only minuses of this hotel are the shower room and the poor lighting in the rooms. The shower is in the same room as the toilet and is not separated by anything, because of this the toilet and toilet paper becomes wet after the shower The elevation that everyone complains about did not bother me.

Excellent location with great sea views. Comfortable room and excellent pool. There was an option to order food in but lots of quality eating places close by all reasonably priced. Short walk to Kata Beach.

Steep walk to the hotel and lots of stairs (no lifts). Was prepared for it as had already stayed at a similar hotel on the previous 4 nights.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Chanok who saved one of our tours when transportation didn't show up. If it wasn't for her amazingness we would have never been able to figure out who to call to get it all sorted. She went above and beyond and before we knew it a taxi was on its way. She, along with the rest of the staff, were always there to greet us with a smile and make my son and I feel welcome. The location also can't be beat. A short walk down the hill and we were at the beach along with lots of shopping and restaurants. The view from our room was beautiful and made the walk back up the hill each day well worth it. Literally the only thing I could think to change would we some more comfortable chairs for our balcony so we could have better enjoyed the view. Other than that our room was nice with plenty of room to spread out and always kept very clean. My son and I can't wait to get back to Thailand. When we do we will be sure to be staying here again.

Thanks to this hotel our stay in Phuket was very comfortable and pleasant. The hotel is located 5 minutes from Kata Beach which was very convenient to reach the beach. Moreover, the hotel is located a little bit far from the main road, so street noise never bothered us during our stay. The view from the city view room was breathtaking, we could even see the beach from the balcony. In addition, the hotel’s receptionist Chanok was very kind and friendly. She helped us a lot with any issue we had there. We wanted to change our room because we preferred the city view, and she quickly and kindly helped us to deal with this issue. Thanks to her our stay in this hotel was very comfortable and warm;) Suggest this hotel for those who like to be near the beach and far from the noisy street with comfortable rooms and kind staff.
