Beautiful villa with private pool, very tranquil but only 3 minutes walk to the busy road with all the restaurants and bars. The villa was superb, supreme luxury and comfort, a fabulous base to relax after spending 5 weeks touring South East Asia. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Kata beach was very busy but we walk for 15 minute to Kata Noi which was lovely and quiet, well worth the walk.

When requesting a late check out as our flight was early evening the charge would have been £135, half a days rate, we declined. A little flexibility would have been appreciated, after all we didn't arrive ourselves until the evening, and paid strong money for a 5 night stay. We were however able to leave our bags, and use a shower room to get changed for the airport.

Centrally located down a quiet street in Kata. Minutes from town by foot and minutes to the beach. The property is clean and modern and the photos were accurate. Breakfast menu was vast and prepared well enough but not excellent. Cold cuts stale. Way to much vinegar in poached eggs. Sausages poor quality. Little things but certainly acceptable.

The staff were overall delightful However, the Pilipino front desk who showed us to our room with the barrage of rules and condescending explanation of how not to burn the sofa with a cigarette was a really really bad start. It is such a shame that after a long journey to enjoy the beautiful thai culture one is instead met with Pilipino canned and insincere condescending “ hospitality”

It is paradise...the pool villa is just out of this world, comfort, staff, food, location there is nothing I could fault. I would live there if I could. The food is unbelievable, the breakfast is sublime so many options....please try their pineapple daiquiri....best I've ever had. Room service was exceptional....you have turn down service I swear this place is just unbelievable. You are a 2 min walk from a night market and 7/11 the beach is about 8mins away location is perfect

Mosquitos but not their fault and they provide sprays and coils to prevent them.

The perfect villas for couples that want more privacy. The atmosphere of the whole place is amazing it’s so beautiful. The staff are the best staff i have seen in any hotel. The rooms are perfect, the bed is very comfortable it’s always clean. This place just makes you feel relaxed and at peace as soon as you step foot there.

Sometimes it’s hard to get a taxi at a reasonable price when you want to get back to the hotel from somewhere like Patong or Old town Phuket.

We were welcomed immediately when we came to the property. The staff offered us immediately some welcome drinks and towel to freshen up. Daniel was very kind and welcoming. He showed us our room and was very friendly and polite, real 5+ star staff. All of the staff of this hotel are friendly and they always greet us with smiles. The location is really nice, its near the beach and also at the Kata market. Very well situated but also gives the privacy feel for its guests. Our room was beautiful and it was big enough for us two. Breakfast option was limited but also nice. Pity I couldn’t have the breakfast in our room cos they say we don’t have a table, even though I asked if we can have the basket for the floating. Just this small thing - could have added more to our stay. Overall it was a great stay and wonderful property. We’ll definitely come back and stay there again.

We had an issue with stuck drainage and a bit of water coming out of the toilet floor due to the blockage. Also, the door towards the private pool doesnt really close well which allows mosquitoes to come into our room. Just make sure to spray the room before going to bed and closing the door to the bathroom.

The staff here are amazing, attentive and genuine. Private pools in the rooms ‘compounds’ were great on a hot day. And the resorts grounds are immaculately maintained. Beach is a short walk away, easy to take a tuk tuk over the hill to different beaches, sites to visit are not far away

Only two things and I think it’s a personal preference or maybe a cultural thing? The mattress on the bed was very firm as are the couches

Exceptional staff that included reception, dining, housekeeping, gardeners ... everyone super kind and nice to catch-up with on our daily meanders. Breakfast was superb in an intimate setting with great staff and selection of dishes. The set menu has a variety of choices to cater for all and curbed waste often found with buffets. That said, the buffet selection was good and particularly enjoyed the Kuvings juicer. The traditional Thai breakfast deserts were amazing. Room was exceptional and the private pool and outdoor area distinguishes Malisa Villa Suites. Very few options in Kata that allows for these amenities so close to town and beach, as the resort is situated in an areas mostly reserved for tightly packed hotels. The grounds are spacious, beautifully maintained and a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of Kata town right on the doorstep. This offers best of both worlds as Kata towns's main attractions and beach are all within walking distance.

The late checkout and after checkout shower facility is a nice touch. For resort of this level it is however expected and more can be done to enhance the shower area, especially related to air conditioning. Mosquitoes are part of the deal but staff managed the issue to the best of their abilities in public areas as well as the villas which is commendable.

Everything was at a good level, well thought out and maintained. We recommend this place wholeheartedly. Very good breakfast. Special thanks to the guys from the reception.

I didn't like the attitude in the restaurant, I wanted to take breakfast to my husband's room - they refused! This is not how good hotels behave! It just happened on the last day, it was never an obstacle before.

It was absolutely gorgeous property. The rooms you could not fault them. Staff were all amazing and so helpful when required. Our room was so quiet and private. Breakfast was great. Room cleaned every day. Comfy bed. Provided with drink and snacks in the fridge free of charge. Could not fault this hotel at all. The location was ideal as well. Down the bottom of a side street meaning there was no noise and felt private. Great security to get into the property too meaning we felt so safe. Was in awe at how lucky we were to stay there, especially for the price.

Gardens were beautiful. Breakfast so good. Quick room service. Loved the ice in esky delivered. Close to beach

Rooms were a bit small but not major issue. On the other hand, outside was a bit claustrophobic with no space around the pool. Pool backs onto neighbours pool and with inconsiderate guests this could be a problem. Biggest issue was the light coming in around door with blinds ill fitting. This meant we did not sleep well as lights on all night then sun in morning.
