Nice cute little place. The most I like about this place is the staff.....every one is very welcoming and make you very comfortable. Receptionist (Chai / Chay) is always available to help you. They were very accomodating with check-in. I reached an hour before check-in and they still checked me in immediately rather than making me wait an hour. Nice pool view with small plants around. Plenty of eateries around and night street market just 1 min walk away and the beach just 2-3 mins walk away. All the furniture like benches and bed in the room is made of concrete which added a novelty factor. The bed was very comfy. The resort is very family friendly. The pool was nice and clean. And they have smart TV with NextFlix, Youtube etc...which I thoroughly enjoyed.

The guest policy was confusing. During check-in, we have to sign a T&Cs paper which said 1000 baht would be charged per guest but when I spoke to the hotel management, that doesn't seem to be the case. I had couple of guests and i wasn't charged which I appreciate. The ACs take a little bit of time to cool the room.

Couldn't find faults

The location for the property was very close to Kata Beach. It is a walking distance there. In addition there is also a night market where there are several food shops providing great food for the money you spent. I loved that as well. It is said that the property does not have parking spots, but that is not a problem at all, because the street in front of the hotel has many designated parking spots for scooters and you can park your scooter there absolutely safe and sound. Most importantly, the staff there have impeccable customer service. SHINE, who helped me with not only with my room, but also helped me to find a proper scooter place to rent a great scooter. He went far and beyond with his job to make my stay there at the hotel very pleasurable. Further more, the hotel is exceptionally clean and maintain its cleanliness really well, including the swimming pool!! I would recommend this place anytime to my friends and would stay here again next time I visit Phuket.

For the price I paid, with discounts, it is a great place. I got almost a 25% discount. However, if the discount was not applied, I probably would rate the place a bit expensive for the value you get. So I hope they do something with the room price of the hotel.

The staff is incredibly helpful, available at any time, and always ready to assist with anything you need. The rooms are cleaned daily, ensuring a comfortable and tidy stay. Every day, fresh drinking water and sometimes even fruit are provided in the room, which is a nice touch. The price-to-quality ratio is excellent, making it a great choice for travelers looking for good value. One downside for some might be the noise from a nearby bar, which features live music every evening. However, if you’re a deep sleeper, you’ll likely have no issues drifting off even with the background music. Thanks to blackout curtains and tinted windows, sleeping conditions are quite comfortable. The bathroom isn’t luxurious but serves its purpose. It might take some getting used to having water on the floor, but once you do, it’s not a big deal. Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable stay in a prime location with great service and a welcoming atmosphere, this is a fantastic option!

Excellent location, lovely and supportive staff. Literally 3 minutes away from the beach and inside the busy road, thus, all nice places as restaurants, shops are around. Yes, it can be noisy but up until the midnight and it's unavoidable if you want to be in the centre. Great pool that saves during the hottest hours when we wanted to be inside, the bungalow's entrance right next to the pool, the view is luxurious!

The nearest beach is super busy, lots of people but clear crystal water covers this small drawback. Also it's not the hotel's fault of course

Great small hotel right in the middle of Kata Beach. The rooms are all centred around the swimming pool and each have a nice small sitting area. The staff is fantastic and very helpful. They are always around and ready to assist with even the smallest things. The hotel is a real hidden gem in the middle of the busy Kata main street.

Two things. First, the pool was great but it was so full of chlorine that it was not nice to stay in. Your eyes would turn red and hurt. Second, I booked a cab to the airport through the hotel, but it was not a nice experience. The driver was preoccupied with his phone all the time which is not safe. Especially in Thai traffic. The car was so old - I am think the transmission was broken. And we had to stop for gasolin. And he kept drinking these small bottles with some mixture.

The location was good as it was right in the centre of Kata beach and literally a 5 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute walk to the shops. The room was comfortable and as advertised. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the pool and facilities were fabulous!

Unfortunately the noise! There was a bar nearby that played music till 1am every night, loud construction noise and we could literally hear the person in the room beside us coughing all night.. We also paid quite a lot for our stay for very basic room, Phuket has gotten very expensive!

I had a wonderful stay at Maiiam Bungalows Kata Beach in Phuket. The accommodation was impeccably clean and maintained, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment throughout my visit. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always assisting with any needs or questions I had. What I appreciated most was the peacefulness of the place, providing a perfect retreat after days filled with activities. Despite its tranquillity, the location is ideal—just a short walk to the beautiful Kata Beach and surrounded by all necessary amenities like restaurants, shops, and markets, pharmacy etc., making everything conveniently accessible.

I personally prefer rooms with good ventilation. My room had no windows except for the doors, and with the weather in Phuket in July, it's really too humid to keep the doors open. The bathroom drainage is a bit slow and no division, like other reviews mentioned, but since I didn’t stay in long after showering, it didn’t bother me much.

Amazing hospitality in a wonderful location! Super spacious and comfortable rooms and a great value. An oasis where you are made to feel like royalty!

Everything was amazing.

The swimming pool was awesome, the grounds were nice, not to many people, due to only 23 units . VERANDA Restaurant next door gave 10% off if staying at Maiiam. Food was excellent quality and delivered me chicken soup when I became sick. Shine, the manager was so wonderful, on the grounds 24\7 , he made me fill so welcome and also went to the store to pick up items I needed to recover from sickness. Close to beach and night market .
