The room and the view exceeded our expectations. The room was really spacious, clean and felt luxurious. The beds were comfortable. Daily room service was also there. The staff were really nice and kind. Their restaurant downstairs offer really good local food. Totally recommend having a meal there. Also, we reached Kata beach when it was raining heavily. The bus dropped us nearby. But the rain was so heavy that we couldn't reach the hotel with our luggage. Cabs were asking for 300-400 baht for 650 m and we were ready to pay also but all of them cancelled our ride finally. Feeling helpless, we contacted the hotel for help and to our surprise, the owner came with his own car. We will forever remember this help.

Everything was good. But a word of caution for families/groups travelling with elderly people - It might be a bit tough for elderly people to climb the steep slope from the main road to the hotel. After that you can take the stairs or another steep slope. There are no other options to reach your room.

Da Bungalows completely met our expectations and we would recommend / stay here again. It's not a super fancy place, but they had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. Staff was great and very helpful, the beds were VERY comfortable, the AC worked GREAT (as compared with other places we stayed) and THE VIEW was unbelievable. Definitely recommend "splurging" for the ocean view / balcony room. What a way to wake up every morning! The location was also idea - very close to the beach and not RIGHT in the middle of the busier areas, but close enough to walk to anything you need.

Not an issue for us, but there are a lot of stairs at the facility to get to the rooms, so good to consider if you have mobility issues.

I stayed on the 3rd floor room facing the street. At first I was skeptical that it would be too noisy, but it ended up being great. I had the view of the ocean (only because my room was above the building across the street), the room was a decent size for one person and had utensils and dishes, which was very convenient since I could eat fresh fruits everyday this way. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and bathroom had shower with handle.

Phuket in general. Too much chaotic traffic and no sidewalks for the pedestrians. The whole city smells like a sewer and the tap water is mostly NOT drinkable.

It was a nice place to stay, it was very clean and had everything you needed, fresh drinking water everyday. Fresh beach towels were provided everyday which was very nice!! The air-conditioning worked well, we had not the best room but we still had a sea view and a private balcony to sit outside:) You only walk 5 minutes to Kata beach, about 15min to Kata Noi beach (which was the better one, cause there weren't many people there) and 20min to the night market, so it was a great location. Sadly we forgot the charger from our electric toothbrush:/

There was no mosquito net on the windows or doors, so we couldn't let the windows or doors open in the evening.

Amazing views and great location, close to the beach and everything you need. If you fancy a trip to the old town it's about 30 minute taxi. The staff were super helpful, always smiling and accommodating. Our room was exceptionally clean and they very kindly let us leave our bags and have a shower on the day we left as we had an evening flight. Just a note we stayed in the top floor room and it's quite steep and a lot of stairs to get up there but the views are well worth it if you don't have much luggage or mind stairs.

The view, the spaciousness of the room. We also got free upgrade of our room just because we had a child with us, but I had booked a double room only. We got a room with extra bed and the best view!!! Also the room cleaning was very quick - as soon as we just left for breakfast, the room got instantly cleaned. Amazing! Also - our safe wasn't working and it got checked and replaced to a brand new one within few hours by the owner himself. That tells a lot, how much they care about their customers. :)

Tiny ants appears if you leave food on the table overnight - keep it in the fridge instead. And the driveway is very steep - it really is the most challenging climb, but it's absolutely worth it!!!

I loved staying at Da Bungalows. The room was big, bright and super comfy. Everything was great, especially Mr Da and his family, who run the business. I stayed one week and I felt home from day 1. On the day of my departure my flght was cancelled and so I had to stay one extra night in Phuket. I booked another room at Da Bungalows straight away. The place is also perfectly located in Kata Beach and only a short walk from the sea, restaurants and convenience store. It had everything and it's excellent value for money I would definitely recommend it to my friends and I would go back.

Nice view. Very affordable. Staff was amazing. AC was very good. Bed comfortable.

The curtain for the washroom was kind of not the best but it worked. It was super close to the toilet. Beds could use a steam clean. The shower head leaked and at one point it just leaked heavy and I had to use towels to absorb it. The in-line electric water heater is a joke 🤣 Might as well shower with cold water.

The size of the room was enormous. The cleanliness was spot -on and the quality of the bed and furniture was outstanding. The location is excellent, 5 minutes from shopping facilities, restaurants and the beach. The service was impeccable, everyone super helpful and kind. The sea view and balcony were beautiful, I felt very lucky to wake up soaked in sunshine and the view to the ocean.

Lovely spacious rooms and you can walk to the South end of Kata beach (more tranquil end) in less than 5 minutes. Complimentary bottles water and extra cold fridge was much appreciated. Plenty of food options available and 7 eleven nearby. We were initially worried that we were quite close to the main road re sleep but it wasn't an issue for us. There was a bit of music on Friday/Saturday night which is o be expected but stopped by 11pm. Excellent value for money.

We couldn't quite work out the hot water shower but it was so warm when we were there that a cool shower was what we needed.
