The rooms had everything you needed, including an extension cable, and hairdryer.

The bathroom was basic, i'm not keen on shower curtains and this was the only option to keep water off the floor. Plus the drains smelt really bad any time you turned on the shower/flushed the toilet/turned on the tap in the sink. There was also an ant problem in the bathroom only

Large light and airy room, comfy bed, large sliding doors opening onto balcony with sea view, great location close to beach and eateries

We were at Kata Beach in the last week of July and had previously asked via email if the beach was safe for swimming. We were told it was. However we discovered that lifeguards had the "no swimming" flags up the entire week we were there and were constantly asking people to come ashore due to strong currents and large waves breaking close to shore (typical monsoon season conditions on that particular coastline we found out). There were lots of people who went in anyway at their own risk and it was definitely a bit better at low tide. We stayed there 2 nights and asked for a refund based on their inaccurate communication which they agreed to without hesitation. Found another place nearby with a pool.

I stayed at Two Chiefs Inn in Kata Beach and I really loved it. The room was clean, the staff was super friendly and my room had a balcony with a great sea view with an island in the distance. The food downstairs was very good and the nights were fun with live music and karaoke. They have really good singers over here! The location couldn’t be better: just a short walk (about 100m max) to a 7-Eleven, laundry, ATM, money exchange, smoothie bar, and a tour operator. Behind the 7-Eleven there’s a reggae bar, restaurant and surf school, and the beach is right there. It's awesome. For the price, it’s impossible to beat. Great spot if you want a relaxed place to stay while exploring Kata Beach or use it as your home base for exploring Phuket.

That I eventually had to leave, but I definitely will come back.

Great place! Big shoutout to Nang who does front desk and restaurant duty, she's a real sweetheart and was super helpful, only spoke with owner(?) once but he seemed like a great guy. The service was top notch, food was good, room was awesome, location was perfect, a stone's throw from Kata Beach and a short walk from everything else cool in Kata. Just thrilled, wonderful stay! Would highly recommend! With one small caveat-

Those stairs man, hahaha. Everything else was so good it kills me but I want to make sure I'm totally transparent- we weren't even on the top floor and the stair hike was just savage for my overweight butt every time. If you are disabled or bringing elderly or any kind of less mobile family members, you should probably reconsider. Anyone whose not a fatty like me will be fine though!

Great location across the street from gorgeous beach. Some units have a peek at the ocean in the distance. Huge bed (2 twins pushed together makes a king). Great AC for relief from hot humid weather. Large refrigerator with a freezer was a nice surprise. Good water pressure and hot water. Friendly kind staff. EXCELLENT food in the restaurant!! All u can eat ribs/grilled chicken, All u can eat Steak/Grilled Chicken/Pork tenderloin. The best Spaghetti Carbonara and Garlic Bread (separate) I’ve ever had. American Breakfast with real bacon and fried hash browns was a delight!

Big tall stairs outside to get up to the hotel rooms. There were 50 to the level we were on. Even more up to the top units. With an injured ankle this was horrible for me. If you have mobility issues this is not the place for you. Also, if it’s raining you and your luggage will get soaked going up/down the stairs. The good thing is the staff is kind to carry luggage for you. Last thing: we had the “do not disturb” sign up every day, but the staff came in to make bed/clean every day anyway. One reason we didn’t want that is because we keep the curtains closed to block the hot sun from coming in through the glass sliding doors. But the always opened the curtains all the way up. Very good cleaners but recommend you don’t go in if the “do not disturb” sign is up.

The hotel is very simple but comfortable, the room has everything needed though everything is very simple, overall it was pleasant to stay in the hotel especially because of people who work there. It doesn't work for people who can't walk upstairs as all the floors are several levels up, no lift. The location is close to the sea, a bit away from the lively area of Kata, people who work in the hotel are all great. overall, it seems like it's the hotel that has the minimum pack of everything to feel comfortable

What could be improved is that the shower could be a bit refreshed and the breakfast was a bit too simple (not much variety, not many fruits etc.)

Great position and wonderful staff. The staff of mostly women are exceptional. The accommodation is a very short walk from a great beach, many restaurants, bars, the surf school, money exchangers and all the action. The view at sunset can only be described as spectacular.

The stairs to the higher rooms would be bothersome for those a little older and less fit. The band play every night until at least 10pm which did not bother me, but could those who like early nights

The location is great, in vicinity of everything in Kata, and 3 minutes from the beach. The view from the balcony is nice. The room and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast is very good! And the personnel very kind - they also provided takeaway breakfast the evening before we left because our flight was too early for normal breakfast, and we didn't even ask for it. We didn't mind the 4 staircases needed to reach our room, but someone with reduced mobility would.

The shower could have more pressure, and the shower handle needed a change. The sink was slightly clogged. Nothing terrible.

The location is absolutely fabulous and the price was incredible. Super value for money and would visit again for sure.

Breakfast was horrible. You could order from 4 things on the menu and it didnt have any sweet breakfast just eggs and noodles. If you want a cappuccino you have to pay extra so they gave me a disgusting coffee instead. Room is a bit old and hot water isnt hot enough. Also hated the fact that the hotel didnt have a reception and the restaurant staff did the check in so I had noone to ask questions, recommendation etc which really sucked. The restaurant also the food was not good at all.

The room was perfect with a clear sea view that I was greeted with each morning through my large sliding window doors. The property was great, staff were excellent and the singers (two ladies), were exceptional - I loved their sets each night!

Only minor - but the restaurant was next to the road which can be a bit loud and there was no elevator. Fortunately a gentleman staff member took my case up for me. These things would not stop me staying again though.
