The rooms were spacious and had everything I needed with a very comfortable bed and a well positioned aircon in the centre of the room not over the bed. The cleaners were prompt, very thorough and respectful for the entire stay. I ate regularly at the hotels restaurant because it was very good value and everything I ordered was delicous!, favs were the omlettes at breakfast, fried rice, massaman curry!. It is private and cosy in a safe location literally 10 seconds from kata beach!. Massage parlor I highly recommend at the back of the hotel and if you want a real drink and amazing food I suggest the two chef inn restaurant across the road. A traditional hotel owned by a Thai family, something I think you should support whilst in thailand.

A nice hotel with a very friendly atmosphere. Really nice people working there! Service-minded, kind, goodhearted and helpful people! Close to Kata beach (50meters) and close to Kata Noi if you prefer a beach with not so much tourists. The breakfast was totally fine and we didn’t miss anything. The kitchen also served tasty Thai and European food for a cheap price. Very spacious and clean room and had a good sleep in comfy beds. We had a balcony to the street. So a bit noisy at some times as there are traffic right outside. Also the fan to the ac is placed on the balcony so just the keyholder out if you need it more quiet when staying at the balcony. The traffic didn’t bother us much … we were staying at top floor. The rooms towards the poolarea and beach are much quieter if you are sensitive to traffic-noise. We all could sleep good as the traffic slows down during evening and night. No cockroaches, no ants, no spiders or other insects and very clean rooms. You get 2 waterbottles for free from the cleaners, soap, tp, schampoo and showercream and you can borrow beach/pool towels down in the reception. The wifi was strong and without problems. Its a nice place that feels like home due to the staff working there … so friendly and caring people! Fresh fruits just 7meters across the street. A 7/11 a few steps away. The hotel is also near bars, restaurants, pharmacies and a international doctor-clinic. Also there is a laundry service just a few meters away in a supermarket. All of us really liked our stay at this hotel very much! Hope to come and stay again!

Everything you could possibly need whilst on holidays was in walking distance. Very clean hotel my room was clean spacious and I had view's of Kata Beach from my room. Very nice. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to returning again as I really enjoyed my stay at Sunbeach Hotel.

I really liked this hotel. The staff are very nice people, they were always helping us with our questions. The room has been cleaned up by staff every day. The room was filled with clean pair of towels, set of shampoo with shower gels and bottle of water every day. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is the best I think, just 1 minute walk to the beach. The hotel also gives towels to use on the beach Highly recommend this hotel

Can't beat the location! We could see the beach from our room, and it took less than a minute to get down there. Check in was easy, and the room was spacious. The bed was comfortable, and wifi was good. This end is also quieter which I liked rather than being right in the middle of Kata.

The hotel was very central, 1 minute walk to beach. The staff at the hotel were all warm and friendly and helped me book my trip to Green Elephant Sanctuary and used hotel taxi to go to Big Buddha and the Temples during my 3 night. Both days out were great! Breakfast in morning was great, I enjoyed the freshly made pancakes… Room was big and spacious- not modern, but very good value for money. Clean and tidy, I got a great sleep each night! Balcony overlooked main road…this suited me as I am an early riser, like to watch the day start, sit and people watch or just watch the world go by for wee 20 mins. I booked a twin room, my travelling friend joined on the 3rd night of my, this was not a problem, the staff welcomed my friend to the hotel! I found the hotel had a nice peaceful vibe, no rush at front desk…there was a 7/11 shop next door to hotel, was actually open 24hrs for any thing you need! I would stay at the hotel again…I would like to say big thank you to all the staff.

Did not have tea/coffee facilities in the room - I do like a wee coffee when I wake up, just got one out of the 7/11 shop next door! No hairdryer - incase that’s important to you! Didn’t bother me, as it was hot, my hair dried very quick!

1. Location! Beach Kata is around the corner, beach Kata noi is ~15 mins away on foots, airport can be reached within 1-1.5 h, convenient for exploration of the main touristic sights. Everything necessary is located within a 2-5 min walk, like restaurants/shops/pharmacies/atm/exchange/bars/fresh fruit/salons etc 2. Lovely Staff! Made me feel like home! Attentive and caring, thank you. 🙏🏼 3. Clean! Never came across any insect. Not a single bite. The rooms are cleaned daily. 4. The rooms are large! Have good ACs that are not directed to beds, awesome! Enough of storage space as well, which is great when sharing the room with a second person and just allows not to live out of suitcase and avoid mess. 5. Elevator, books in many languages, good breakfast, tubs in the bathrooms, balconies, wifi everywhere.

1. Can be a bit noisy from the street at times. 2. No smart tv, although I consider this an advantage haha.
