The location of this resort is excellent. There are a lot of excellent restaurants nearby within walking distance. Rooms are a decent size and have all you require. Sufficient water is provided on a daily basis. The happy hours within the various bars throughout the day make it tempting to spend a lot of time within the confines. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The design of the resort requires the taking of a lot of stairs to get to your room. With the warm humid weather this does become tiresome. I would not recommend a person with difficulty moving around to stay here.

An impressive resort, located just opposite Kata beach. Reception staff were great - we had a lovely check-in, with cold towels, mini ice creams and delicious drinks. The hotel is huge and had plenty of space to relax, with two large pools, swim-up bars and plenty of loungers. The view from the smaller pool was particularly impressive. The room was clean and really spacious and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The huge balcony came in handy for relaxing with a view of the pool, and for drying clothes! Housekeeping did a great job with keeping the room spotless and topping up essentials. Kata is known to be a quieter area (compared to Patong) but there were still plenty of shops/restaurants within walking distance.

The main issue we had was with the sewage smell that often made its way through the hotel, as others have flagged. This really wasn't pleasant whilst relaxing in the pool and we also experienced issues in our own room, so I think there's a wider plumbing issue in the hotel to be addressed. Also, whilst we were very close to Kata beach, it was unfortunately filthy, with plastic rubbish, ropes and dead fish all over the sand, so we barely spent any time there. Therefore, excluding the beach, the location of the hotel is quite far from the action - it took us 30 mins to get to most places worth visiting (Andamanda, Big Buddha, Carnival Magic, etc) and taxis/Grab are so expensive here.

Hotel room was great , pool was right outside, pool and pool bar/food were excellent. All the staff were helpful and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Location was fab, just over the road from the beach and the views of the bay were amazing. The lobby staff were great especially at night when we stayed up to watch the euros!

The food in the evening buffet was a bit disappointing however I imagine most people eat out so understandably not alot is cooked to avoid food waste

If your room happens to be in the rear buildings 4 and 5 you get a great view because those buildings are located higher but be prepared for a long journey taking two elevators separated from each other by several steps and a short stroll from the Road or Reception to your room.

Such a shame this very good hotel is just let down by effective but poor room AC (very noisy, old technology - no inverter with “silent” or night mode). Worse, since there was no remote control we also had to get up regularly during the night to turn it on/off intermittently. A good nights sleep is so important for a great holiday….

The staff were very nice. Everything was clean. The facilities were good. We even got a free upgrade.

It’s a lot of stairs on this property. They of course have elevators but be aware of the stairs.

The staff are truly exceptional and friendly. Always smiling, always willing to help and very responsive. The guys at the Pool Bar is amazing! :) The location of the resort is some of the best. Very central to the beachfront, literally 3-5 minute walk, amenities around, such as exchange, restaurants, convenience stores and more. There is really no need to leave the resort! The pool is amazing, lots of beach chairs, good drinks and food on offer. Open until 10PM which is nice. There are quite a few stairs and uphill's to walk but definitely not an issue. I saw the staff assist people with walking disabilities. The rooms are well equipped, with everything you need. Good shower (in bathtub type), lovely sea views (depending which room you opt for). Breakfast was good with a very wide selection. In summary, you cannot go wrong booking this resort! Highly recommended and will return again.

The wi-fi signal at the pool was not the best... dropped signal quite a few time. I would have preferred if the mattress was a large king/queen size, instead of 2 mattresses pushed together. Made sleeping in the middle impossible. Really cannot fault anything else.
