Not a bad thing to say. We stayed for one night and it was excellent, room was ready before checkin, clean and tidy, and actually the first stay we’ve had where water has been left for us! There was helpful information has the reception about buses but the next day she offered us a tuktuk to get us to the pier which cost only 200bht. There is one bathroom per floor so two bedroom to a bathroom, we had no issues with this, there is a specific key for it so you can lock as you leave meaning the other room needs their own key to get in.

Only con is no lift although I can’t complain because my partner carried our giant backpacks up all the stairs to the rooftop room where we were staying.

I usually stay in hotels so I have no much experience with hostels but this place met all our expectations and more. The room was very comfortable, ideal for a big group of 7. Beds were big, had a lot of space around for our stuff and they had curtains that provided enough privacy for each of us to enjoy our time alone, if needed. The owner was very kind and helpful. Everything was within a walking distance but the area was quiet enough for a city.

The room had a private bathroom that we enjoyed but it was not air-conditioned so using it was sometimes a challenge when going straight from our well airconditioned room. Otherwise everything was perfect.

The Eco Hostel was so welcoming. It has a unique design style which makes it a beautiful place to stay. The rooms were large with all the facilities you would expect from a modern hotel. The bathroom was amazing, using up-cycled materials to produce a stunning room. Located a 10 minute walk from Old Town Phuket, it is ideally located to explore the district day or night. Also....who could not mention the most amazing (and welcoming) Hostel Cat that is a real character, very calm and super cute.

Great hostel that is really clean and loved the quirky decorations around the building. We had a 6 bed dorm room which was a good size and the bed setup is great. You have your own cubby hole with mattress and space for bits and bobs down the side. Good aircon in room. Really nice local restaurant next door which is definitely worth the visit. Staff are really friendly and loved fat cat. Hostel is a 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants and the Sunday walking street.

The only thing we think that could think is the bathroom is separate to the bedroom which was fine but no aircon or fan so it was constantly like a sauna and even worst after all of us had a shower. Would definitely recommend installing a good extractor fan.

If you can get a room here snap it up. We took a room for 3 - double bed with single. Had a balcony, lovely big bathroom, super clean, great air con and bags of character-so many inventive eco ideas.

The location was out of the centre but on a main road, all walkable. Only downside is the traffic noise if you are facing the street. Ear plugs will do the trick if you are a light sleeper. Other than that it was fab!

This hostel suited me very well. I was with a group of four people and managed to secure a room with six beds, which perfectly fit our group. The value is very good. The host is very friendly and made us feel very welcome. In fact, we were only going to stay for one night, but we ended up staying for two more because we really liked the place.

This place is AMAZING for families! We stayed in room 3, a huge room with 4 singles (bunks) and a separate room attached with a double and single bunk above. So lovely to have some quiet time in a connecting room. The bunks have curtains so all 4 of us felt like we had our own private space for 2 nights. The best stay in Thailand so far. Smart TV, soft towels, clean comfortable beds, powerful shower, private room/bathroom, excellent coffee, 15 minutes walking distance to old town Phuket (beautiful!). Such a wonderful host, kind & helpful. Use of a washing machine for 50 baht (£1.25). Cafe next door serving authentic Thai food from 60 baht a dish! Close to terminal 1 & 2 bus station stops for minivan/bus to other places like Krabi from 200 baht p/p. The room was great for a family - bunk beds plus a separate double room within the main room.

Be aware it’s a small hostel so it’s just a great room in a really convenient location with brilliant staff. Don’t be expecting a luxurious hotel resort but definitely recommend this place for exploring Old Town or for transiting through before the islands.

The Hostel is really nice. We stayed in a private four bad room and enjoyed it. The owner is very friendly and even helped us to organize a tour. The location is great, only about 10 minutes from the old town.

We booked a room with a private bathroom. Unfortunately, the bathroom was across the hallway and did not have a lock (the toilet and shower inside had a lock) which means it could have also been used by the other guests. Generally, this is not a problem and nobody used the bathroom while we stayed there, nevertheless it is not really a private bathroom in the way we expected it. Moreover, there is very little space in the room to put away you staff or hang cloths. There is a very small drawer for each bed and that is it.

Our family room is perfect! The decor looks so cute and the room is comfy. The lady who’s handling reception is so nice and sweet. The hostel also have a super cute fat cat whom I adore. The location is also very good in old town, near to seven eleven and street food vendors.

Our room is in 3rd floor and there are no elevators. Bit of a hassle if you bring a lot of luggages, but if you dont carry the luggages then it’s fine!
