The location is exceptional, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is really good (fresh fruits, vegetables, pastries, fresh pressed and juices, etc) Rooftop pool with bar, nice view. They provide you with towels for the beach and pool, and also in the room you have flip flops to use indoors.

There was constructions going on a big part of the hotel during my stay and I wasn’t informed while booking

Pros: 1. Location: The hotel is surrounded by numerous dining, relaxation, and party options of all ranges, all within a 500-meter radius. 2. Value for Money: The room includes a balcony (where smoking is allowed) and is located on higher floors. Spa services are available on request for an additional fee. There is a coffee club at the entrance, and the hotel also offers overnight laundry services at reasonable prices. 3. Food: Surprisingly, the hotel hosts an excellent restaurant on the ground floor. The Pad Thai with shrimp is highly recommended—definitely a great starting point for your culinary journey in Phuket. 4. Travel Desk: I booked a Scenery Catamaran ride for half a day through the hotel only 1 day in advance. They arranged two of the best seats on the upper floor of the boat for THB 9800. The entire process, from pickup and drop-off (commuter to catamaran and back), was seamless. The second-floor seats on the catamaran provided a fantastic experience, and the day was very enjoyable.

Cons: 1. Swimming Pool: The rooftop swimming pool was quite underwhelming. Despite not being crowded, it still felt cramped. 2. Bike Rental: When I rented a bike from the hotel’s travel desk for THB 400 (24 hours), I was required to deposit my passport instead of cash. Although I reluctantly handed over my passport despite having a valid international driving permit, it was returned safely when I returned the bike.

Service, staff, cleanliness and an overall preparedness to please were excellent.

Not possible to have “Bacon & Eggs”. As a western raised person the breakfast was not as expected. Chicken ham or chicken sausage does not fill the bill. Fried Eggs not cooked in a suitable manner, either overcooked or part raw. The absence of a quality lounge bar. Rooms had poor views. I am also a retired hotelier with considerable experience in group vacation management in a number of locations around the world. I try to be constructive but feel a more open location description is warranted.

Though the room was smaller than expected, it was clean and cozy. And the room was facing the other building so it was not so comfortable to keep the screens open. Pool at level 5 was good, at open terrace facing the sea and kept clean and tidy. Location was a bit confusing the first day, but later found that it was more convenient through the Bangla street. And the breakfast is really good with good variety of food. Indian food was not cooked so well but all other food varieties do.

The staff is amazing. there is a restaurant on the first floor and the chef there is fantastic. the housekeeping staff and the front desk people are always ready to accommodate you and answer all questions. also loved the roof pool and the massage ladies.

Patong beach area was much more crowded than I thought it would be. lots of people smoking weed. but not at the hotel.

My second stay at Hotel Clover in Patong, Phuket, reinforced its status as my preferred choice in the area. Upon arrival, the welcoming gesture of a refreshing juice and cold towel was a nice touch. The rooftop pool, offering stunning views, continued to impress, and its proximity to The Coffee Club, Bangla Walking Street, and Patong Beach made my stay exceptionally convenient and enjoyable. I highly recommend Hotel Clover for a memorable Patong experience.

Excellent property, superb location hardly 40 metres from the beach . Pleasing staff , wow breakfast & overall very hospitable team . Only drawback is rooms are width wise small & very less space to open your luggages . Have very good pool & beach view from 5th floor.

So. Let's go: 1. Room was cosy, bed was really good, pillows nice. 2. Bathroom clean, always stocked with shower gel etc. 3. Pool is big enough to swim in it. It was never overcrowded during our stay. The view from the pool is stunning. Cocktails are also good. - There is a happy hour with 1 Cocktail free, definitely recommend it. 4. Breakfast is delicious and there is always a great selection. I definitely recommend booking it in advance. The spicy Asian foods are mixed with a few non-spicy dishes and european options. 5. Position of the hotel is extraordinary. You can reach the beach, Bangla etc in minutes. It is also really quiet (which i did not expect). 6. Staff is quick and easy-going. You get a "free" late checkout by leaving a review on Tripadvisor, which brings me to the bad things 7. There are more transfer options from the hotel to the airport, good value. 8. Wifi is stable, not the best speed but good enough

1. Reviews should not be a form of paying for services... 2. Whatever you do, don't take the DELUXE Rooms. REALLY bad value. You will basically get an espresso machine and pink towels nothing more. Rooms are 100% the same. Our friends had normal rooms and got a WAYbetter overall deal.

- the jacuzzi area is open air and it was filled with mosquitoes!! Every night I was hunting mosquitoes before going to bed that entered the room. I know it is rainy season but still as the jacuzzi areas are open space the hotel could contract a specialized company to spray against mosquitoes. My children got bitten several times even with all the hunting - I have read some older reviews before booking and people were complaining about poor cleaning. I believe there is a bit too extensive cleaning. Everyday the staff was changing the towels and bedsheets. As a person who works with sustainability, I would like to see the hotel put more accent on this topics. Also, if the shower gel was half full, it was replaced with a new one. The hotel still uses plastic straws.
